Mariah is mentally twelve. Thank God, she, unlike some people we could name, realizes that a child needs a grown ass adult for a parent.

Apart from the strange behaviour with the mic’ and the fact she is aware she shouldn’t get pregnant for the moment (as it appears she hasn’t got the mother instinct -yet?), I’m mostly puzzled by the fact that this is an odd case of “yellowing person”.
Her hair and her skin are not just the same colour, they’re almost exactly the same shade of it too!
Who would think that to be a good idea? Just who?

perfume decanters? high-thread count linens? one of a kind lingerie? hmmm. perhaps i’ve underestimated the girl. i always though the extent of her brain activity was a constant humm of “me pretty. me very very pretty.” if she does stretch her brain to such things as linens and lingerie, i bet it’s to the extent of, “me look very very pretty on these pretty pretty sheets.” and “me look pretty pretty in this skimpy skimpy lacy thing.”

Ditto-she doesn’t want to have kids and is honest about it. No problem with that, she’s in the prime of her life and at the height of her game.

Although, I must say, I have met a couple of women who were terrible narcissists before they had children and turned into great moms because suddenly there was this cute little extension of self that could be totally focussed upon. So yes, it’s not ideal (because the child ends up thinking that they are the be-all-and-end-all) but they have very attentive, loving, adoring moms.

All women don’t want to be mothers just like all women don’t want to be married. Kudos to MC for being honest with herself and for not letting society dictate how she should live her life. There are way too many people (i.e. Brittany Spears, Nicole Ritchie, etc.) who should NOT have had kids. My only problem with MC is that I’m sick of seeing her in those childish clothes. She needs to fire her stylist pronto!

i think MaRiaH is smart not to have kids until she’s absolutely ready. your right Meredith about Britney spears and Nicole richie shout not have had kids yet because they were not mentally or emotionally ready for motherhood yet. I feel sorry for their kids cause both nicole and britney are messed up! and yeah Mariah is fake and has too many personalities and seems like a nutcase as well

At least she’ll never be a mom dressed like that. Who wears tights under shorts anyway? At least she lost 20 lbs if not she’d look pretty damn gnarly in that get-up!

I agree w/the article, in that it’s appreciated that she can accept and admit that she is not one to mother a child…not everyone knows themselves that well, and will often times put themselves in that situation, realizing after the fact, that they’ve made a terrible mistake in allowing it to happen. We can all rest easy knowing that will not happen to Mariah.

I’d respect her more if she just came out and said she didn’t want children, period. Why do so many of the hollywood types refuse to just say they DON’T want children?
Children aren’t for everyone. I don’t want them. I’d feel violated knowing something was inside of me, leaching off me, too. -
I hear u MC. In my community people are always having kids they clearly dont want. Why should she have kids if she doesnt want them. I dont want kids either.

Same here Kennedy. I don’t begrudge anyone for having kids but I myself have come to realize children are not for me for various reasons. I love my family’s kids and my bff’s kids wholeheartedly but that’s it.

yeah at least she didn’t adopt a kid just to dress it up and serve her own purposes. Kudos to her for that.
