Lindsay Lohan already hit a baby while driving, says Radar

Actress Lindsay Lohan made her way late last night out for dinner at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, California on August 28, 2010. Lindsay arrived at her favorite restaurant with a friend around 11pm where she stayed for a few hours leaving at around 1am in the morning on a wild and crazy car ride. The Machete actress took on the roll of designated driver but was not a safe DD according to photographers who followed her outrageous drive from sunset blvd to the Pacific Palisades. Lindsay was reportedly drive at high speeds in her Maserati going about 120, blowing through stop signs and red lights. Finally the cops caught up to her but let her go with out a ticket, the photographers where not so lucky. Lohan was recently released from a court-ordered stint in jail and rehab last week following a violation of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI conviction. Fame Pictures, Inc

The Crackhead has her license back, and we‘ve been warning you LA bitches to stay out of her way. Actually, scratch that, I have no idea if she actually has her license back or if she just thinks she’s allowed to drive now, in her crack-addled mind. In the less than two weeks that Lindsay has been out of her jail & rehab, she’s already been stopped by the cops once for failing to stop for a stop sign, and she’s already been back to her crackhead haunts like the Chateau Marmont. So what was next on Lindsay’s agenda? Some typical crack shenanigans – like hitting a baby. Lindsay was ALLEGEDLY driving her fancy Maserati when she was too crackheaded to LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE TURNING ON A RED. And thus, Lindsay hit a stroller that was carrying a baby. Radar has video of what happened afterward – the nanny (I’m assuming) pushing the stroller and the baby crying and people asking the woman if she was okay. And Lindsay’s Maserati driving off in the background. The video is here, and here’s Radar’s report on the incident:

Lindsay Lohan clipped a stroller holding a baby while driving her high-powered Maserati, two eyewitnesses to the incident exclusively tell RadarOnline.com. The two onlookers identified the Mean Girls star in her West Hollywood neighborhood around 5pm Wednesday, when she accidentally hit the woman and child after failing to look both ways before turning.

“There was a woman pushing a kid in the stroller, maybe a two or three-year-old, crossing the street,” witness Brayan Jaime told RadarOnline.com, in an exclusive interview.

“Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller. It wasn’t super hard, but she made impact and hit them,” Jaime said. “Lindsay pulled to the right, stopped for two seconds, and then just kept going.”

RadarOnline.com has also obtained exclusive video taken just moments after the incident occurred in which Lohan’s luxury Maserati can be seen speeding away. At the same time, the child can be heard crying in the stroller. The woman in the video is seen looking back at Lohan’s car in disbelief as she continues to cross the street.

“I’m 100 per cent sure Lindsay was driving because I saw her with my own eyes,” Jaime told RadarOnline.com. “I asked the kid if she was okay and then asked the woman, but she was kind of shocked and didn’t really know what to say and you could tell she was scared.”

Jaime claims Lohan came out of the parking garage quickly, making only a brief pause at the red light instead of a full stop. A second witness at the scene told RadarOnline.com that the impact was minimal, so it’s possible Lohan didn’t realize it happened. Nonetheless, he insists contact was made.

“She was just driving like crazy once I started following her. She was trying to lose me, blowing stop signs and stuff,” Jaime said, who followed Lohan after being stunned at what he saw. “Lindsay was scared because she knew I saw what she did.”

But the incident doesn’t seem to have registered with Lohan, who was released from a court ordered rehab and jail sentence last month. When contacted for comment, she told RadarOnline.com, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

[From Radar]

A hit and run on a baby. This is terrible. Even if you’re pretty sure that you just “bumped” someone (especially if it’s a stroller carrying a BABY), you get out of your car and ask “Are you okay?” Beyond that, you LOOK BOTH WAYS, CRACKHEAD. Seriously, I hope this is not the end of the story. I hope they track down the nanny and the baby. I hope the cops are called. I hope there are international headlines crying “LOHAN HITS BABY, IS A CRACKHEAD.”

This lunatic should NOT be driving!!!! I can’t believe they ever gave her license back.
If there is one little hint of truth to this, they need to throw her butt back in jail and leave her there this time.

  2. freckles says:

“I don’t know what you’re talking about…” the go-to response for anyone who’s done something wrong that they can’t defend or explain.

  3. jen says:

    Isn’t a hit & run a CRIME??!!

  4. poopie says:

HAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!! THIS IS GREAT ! I’m glad this happened (baby being ok ). this bitch needs to get a taste of the REAL WORLD which does NOT contain maseratis. she is an entitled spoiled uneducated talentless fugly ho. i hope she does go back to jail or PRISON and stays there for a couple of years. no one will miss her.

  5. Praise St. Angie! says:

    jesus h.

IF this is true, I hope she is LOCKED UP for hit and run. thank god the woman and the child are OK.

I’ve almost been hit by a car making a right on red more times than I can count. whether in my car, with the right of way, when I’m going through a green light, or when I’m crossing on foot. people don’t realize that when you are allowed to turn right on red, it means STOP FIRST, look around, BOTH WAYS, and then proceed. so many people think “I can turn right on red here” and just blow right through without even considering that they HAVE A RED LIGHT…they go through as if they have a green light.

and here’s a newsflash for LL…sometimes, even with a green light, you have to STOP and LOOK for pedestrians. UGH…this stupid crackhead…

EDIT: I’ll bet she ran because she doesn’t, in fact, have a valid license.

  6. BB says:

Scariest thing that has ever happened to me: crossing the road (trafficlight was green) pushing the stroller with the baby I was looking after with. While almost in the middle of the crossing, this driver comes speeding like a maniac, doesn’t stop at the red, and just barely avoids the stroller. I crossed the road, then stopped and cried for about 10 mins. Even with nobody getting hurt, somebody who shows 0 consideration like that and drives like a madman should be behind bars 🙁

  7. Shelley says:

What did I just comment yesterday here to ‘innocent’ whose delusion is that LL’s recent brief moments in jail and in rehab were cruel punishment – I said that for every time someone is caught DWI or DUI, there are hundreds of times they are DWI or DUI but aren’t caught. And I asked ‘Innocent’ how he or she would still defend LL if LL injures or kills one or more
people. In this case who knows if LL was impaired by a substance or simply DWAE – driving while arrogant and entitled.

How horrifying to read this and how sorry I am for the woman and baby – AND for all the other peope LL endangered while fleeing this scene, speeding and running stop signs. I hopenthe police who didn’t ticket her for running a stop sign a few days ago are proud of themselves. She’s only been driving again for what, two weeks?!?!

I really was dumb enough to think that LL was smart enough to spend her jail and rehab time thinking over her life and deciding to change. Many people with parents far worse than hers have done just that.

  8. Riley says:

The video kind of sucks though. It is hard to see where she hit the stroller and the nanny doesn’t seem to notice either or am I missing something.

  9. canadianchick says:

I’ll bet the cops who let her go the other day are feeling proud of themselves. And whomever decided to return her license should be fired. LL is an idiot, unfortunately it is only until she seriously hurts or kills someone that consequences will be greater.

  10. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

    Stupid non-driving, unaware bitch!

Yeah, she is treated soooooo unfairly! What will happen when she finally runs over AND kills someone?! Will people maybe think she shouldn’t be driving then?

  11. Cam says:

You can’t be serious. I mean, hitting the stroller by ‘mistake’ (if that’s even possible), ok… -like you said, Kaiser- you get out of the car, ask if the baby is ok, apologize and maybe then get into the car again, but no… crackhead Lohan is not that smart and committed a crime by ‘hitting and running’, did she think no one would see what happened?. AND STILL, geez.

  12. Sassy says:

If this story is indeed true, then Lindsay, the self-entitled asshole, needs to be held accountable for her cracked out actions. Jesus, this chick. Ugh.

  13. mln says:

I hope they put her dumb ass in jail for this.

EDIT: OK I watched the video and there is no proof and the only eyewitness is the paps. So if it’s true I doubt there is going to be any recourse unless the traffic light had a camera in it.

  14. Lady D says:

@ Shelley, Canadian stats say a person will drive drunk an average of 84 times, before they are caught. Sickening stat.

  15. Tia C says:

At first when I saw the headline and was reading through the story, I thought someone was just being ridiculous and making this up. But it sounds like it probably really happened. Nothing’s going to happen to her though. The police should at least question her about it. But they probably won’t. I don’t even understand why she thinks she can drive. She’s obviously a really, really BAD driver and should hire a driver NOW, not wait until after she kills someone.

  16. Snarf says:

So Buddy calls Radar and not the cops? I call bullsh*t.

  17. aenflex says:

Frightening. Awful. Disgusting. I cannot even feel pity for her any more, like I do Britney and some others.

  18. artista says:

Ohhh please be true! I hope the kid is okay….but please be true!!!!!

  19. Lady D says:

Just suppose Lindsay gets into massive accident and ends up paralyzed or brain damaged. Would White Oprah be there for her daughter? If Linds requires 24/7 care, what do you suppose WO would do? I think she’d try to dump her daughter on Micheal, and work on pimping Ali.

  20. heb says:

Seriously, why isn’t this bigger news?

  21. Crash2GO2 says:

Bitch on wheels. Typical sociopathic behavior. The rules just don’t apply to her, you see.

  22. Snarf says:

Just found out the guy who videotaped this is a freelance pap and when asked why he didn’t call the police he said he didn’t want to get involved.

So he has no problem getting involved as long as he’s getting money out of it?

    Lovely.

  23. Reason says:

It does not sound like a hit & run. It was a soft hit, she pulled over & the mother/nanny probably told her it was okay.

    Enough with the drama.

  24. nischi says:

This is a hit and run. Why aren’t the cops being called? My friend got a hefty fine for hitting a parked car, getting out and observing the damage, leaving her info and then driving off. Why in the world isn’t this entitled twit being questioned by the police?

  25. Innocent says:

I think this story is a complete fabrication. They somehow get a picture of the woman still walking along after the alleged collision happened but miracalously don’t capture it the moment it took place.

  26. denise says:

Who’s for the death penalty on this one?

  27. Praise St. Angie! says:

“but miracalously don’t capture it the moment it took place.”

maybe, you know, for the same reason car accidents are ALMOST NEVER caught on tape, because it’s a spontaneous thing that can’t be caught AS IT HAPPENS?

the dude probably started taping JUST after it happened, which is what the vid indicates.

if there’s a traffic camera at the intersection, that’s the vid I’d like to see.

  28. serena says:

    Oh my god.
    This is the lowest.
Why somebody don’t take back her license?

  29. Blondie says:

    @ Reason…

WTF is up with you??? she hit a baby in a buggy…. hello!!!???

  30. vibius says:

Until there is proof, the odds of her being locked up are ZERO.

With the video starting after the fact there is nothing to go on. How do we know its not just a baby crying? I hear they can do that on occasion.

  31. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

@Innocent: I’m not trying to sound mean, but I no clue as to what you’re thinking with this. What is this weird hold she has on you? Are the whims of celebrities so unimpeachable that we’re to give them carte blanche to maim or kill? Are our lives so beneath contempt that we should feel lucky about only being clipped by a ‘stah’? Quibbles about the severity of her myriad crimes have been documented, but there are not such subtle degrees of dead. I don’t want anything bad to happen to her outside of the criminal system (which at this point is just proving what a farce it is), but if someone’s going to get hurt it had bloody better not be me.

The difference between and vehicular homicide is luck, that is it. That luck is going to run out someday, and unfortunately that luck will hurt someone else.

She will do it again, because that’s how cretins roll. I was involved in a hit and run because some goon decided that he had every right to turn on that light, sounds familiar. Well kids, I deal with chronic pain and decreased mobility every day. Him? Probably off somewhere making more illegal turns and making more lives miserable.

Was it his first time? Of course not. Maybe she should get an old-tyme Hong Kong caning like Michael Faye did back in the day.

  32. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

    Co-sign on Joe Mamma!

  33. Kiska says:

That is going to be hard to prove. The video doesn’t really show what happened.
Radar is really becoming the new TMZ!

  34. original kate says:

you guys are being way too hard on lindsay. it’s hard to drive and do coke at the same time! cut the girl some slack. and why were that woman and baby crossing the street when lindsay had to hurry up and get to…um…you know, uh… work?

  35. Innocent says:

    @Jo ‘Mama’ Besser

The DUIs were 3 years ago and she was lucky no onoe got hurt.
She needs to drive because she has so many sessions to attend.

  36. K.at says:

Hit and Run=Violation of Probation. that has to be a record. She is either literally the stupidest person EVER for not stopping OR she was messed up on some type of drug and is currently in her bathroom, taking every kind of urine clening medicines in the free world. You cannot get violated for a traffic accident, but you sure s hell are going to get arrested for hitting a baby stroller and running away.

    GO BACK TO JAIL!!!!!!!!

  37. Kiska says:

@ original Kate. Love your sarcasm!

Hopefully, some of the eyewitnesses report what happened. The nanny was either in shock or somewhat unaffected. I’d be sobbing if that happened to me.

  38. Katija says:

It’s because the LA Penal system taught her that there are no consequences for her actions. I truly, truly wish that all that shit had gone down in NY. Believe me, she’d still be in jail.

  39. Crash2GO2 says:

The nanny may have scarpered because maybe she doesn’t have her green card (just theorizing). Or, she may not wanted to have gotten chewed out for not protecting the child better, even though it wasn’t her fault. Either way, I hope the parents get involved, or some of the eye witnesses. And shame on the pap for not calling the police.

I’m amazed that people are still faulting LA’s criminal justice for Lilo’s sense of entitlement. She was diagnosed with a personality disorder – nothing and no one is going to be able to teach her what she is not wired for – a social conscience. For the sake of society she needs to have her license revoked. She can take the bus to her appointments. Cars are a luxury, not a necessity.

  40. hellen says:

I can only hope that sooner or later Lindsay ends up on the receiving end of a road rage incident.

  41. Marjalane says:

    “The death penalty”

    I loves my fellow bitches.

  42. Innocent says:

    @Katja
For a minor probatin violation she got an extraordinarily harsh and excessive sentence.
Look at what Chris Klein just got his for 2nd DUI were had his dog in the car and his blood acohol level was 0.24 which is 3 TIMES the legal limit.

96 hours in county jail and he won’t even serve it because it is time already served.
He isn’t being subject to random alcohol testing and no alcohol isn’t a condition of his 4 years of summary probation.
He just has to do an Alcohol Ed program, can’t drive for a year and will have an alcohol interlock device in his car.

  43. Fluffy Kitten Tail says:

@Innocent- Are you the only one left on Lindsay’s payroll? Seriously, you rehash the same stuff over and over. We are not buying what you are selling. Sorry. We aren’t drinking tha same tar infused Kool-Aid you are. We know the truth here. k?

  44. Bubbles says:

I wonder if she was driving the same type of Maserati that Mel Gibson was driving when it just drifted into the side of a mountain?
    http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2010/08/mel-gibsons-car-runs-road-malibu-actor-not-injured

  45. Missfit says:

The sad thing is that this shit happens ALL the time…everyday people do this A LOT! AND THEN, when they almost hit you, for their bullshit, they give you the look as if it was YOUR FAULT??? I’m glad the lady and baby are ok. :/ I think if I was that lady and IF Lindsey would have came out, I would have clawed her face, that’s what. And it’s not always “old people” who drive this way or always “young people”, it’s just STUPID people…and I most definitely agree with everyone else, this sounds like a hit and run and she should have gotten in deep shit for it.

  46. wonderful says:

Ha ha I don’t know, this seems pretty made up…It’s as if they sat around and thought, “What bad things can we even report about Lohan at this point? She has already done them all… Why… Hit a BABY of course!!!!” And then they ran with it. While the girl is a complete mess, an addict, a spoiled brat and a criminal, it’s pretty clear that the media salivates over every little lohan drama- they thrive off running every horse 10 feet into the ground.
Innocent – getting arrested for a DUI and arrested for DUI carjacking tend to produce different sentences. Each case is individual.

  47. GatsbyGal says:

She’s going to run someone over sooner or later, I’m talking blood and guts smeared and ground into the pavement. Or maybe she’ll do like that one chick did a few years ago, hit a guy, then park in your garage and let him bleed to death while still impaled through the windshield. Then maybe she’d get the death penalty!

  48. Leek says:

This is very exciting. If the light was red and the nanny and baby were crossing legally, whose fault will it be if and when Lindsay gets the opportunity to deflect accountability.

    She really is human garbage.

  49. soxfan says:

“She needs to drive because she has so many sessions to attend.”

Then what is her “assistant” for?????

  50. Pirouette says:

Actually, I agree with Wonderful, Innocent, and Reason. You can’t believe everything you read, especially if it involves a baby. Celebrity gossip writers are just trying to appeal to what they assume is (and seems to actually be) your American sense of justice and values.

  51. anoneemouse says:

Goes right along with her self-entitlement issues. Lindsay stops for NO ONE. In fact, the world should stop for her. Excuse me while I gag.

  52. jane16 says:

I’m wondering why this isn’t bigger news? Where’s the investigation? God, I hope there’s a traffic cam that caught it. I don’t think the paps would make it up, and the woman looked hispanic. Maybe she didn’t speak English, or worried about her green card as Crash pointed out. They better not let her keep her license after this. Horrible bitch.

  53. Obvious says:

TMZ is reporting that a witness has been found. The LiLo tapped the stroller stopped and asked the nanny is everything was ok. nanny said yes, no harm no foul and LiLo went on her way. The witness also says LiLo has a green not a red.

    http://www.tmz.com/2010/09/03/lindsay-lohan-car-accident-baby-stroller-hit-and-run-paparazzi/

  54. irishserra says:

Authorities probably weren’t called because by now it’s well known that it’s a useless maneuver. There’s no justice, especially in Hollywood.

  55. DetRiotgirl says:

I don’t understand why any Lohan is allowed to drive. The last name alone should be enough to keep them off the road!

But, still, I have to call BS on this story. As incompetent as the LA justice system has proven itself to be, I think the cops would be looking into this if the story came from any kind of reliable source. A pap who makes his money off of Lilo’s drama is not a reliable source, and the video proves nothing.

However, as I said earlier, I’m all for taking away her right to drive based on the wealth of credibly documented crackhead things she has done over the years anyway.

  56. Mia says:

I’m pretty sure both Lindsay and Paris are jokes God is playing on us…not fun anymore, make them go!

  57. wunderkindt says:

That crack-head will kill someone someday!

But the stupid people in the LA judicial system will probably just tell Lindsay that they are sorry she was inconvenieced by the ‘mess’.

It sounds just like Lindsay to hit someone and to then flee the scene.

  58. santacruz says:

This woman is a complete Nuf-Nuf….people like this rarely kill themselves, but unfortunately kill others… who didn’t see this coming???? The media needs to have a moratorium on reporting about this Idiot…let her slip into obscurity unreported.

  59. Shelley says:

@DetRiotGirl – driving isn’t a right but a privilege. As someone whose best friend was killed at 15 by someone exercising his ‘right’ to DWI, I’m sensitive to how these things are phrased. And please, you odd defenders of LL – this is not a first-time incident but the most recent in a long pattern of horrible driving. I ask you again how fond of her you’ll be when it’s your friend or family member she kills, or your baby she ‘just grazes’ while flying out of garages, speeding, running stop signs, etc.

  60. Jo 'Mama' Besser says:

Personally, it’s bias on top of bias with me. The hit and run was when I was sixteen (do I win the prize for worst Sweet 16?). My other run-in was when I was eleven and the minivan that acted as our school bus plowed straight into me and the boy sitting in front of me. So when people make decisions that can and do easily kill, I just don’t give a shit. Ruin your own life if you pleae, but don’t drag children into your wastoid downward spiral.

Unfortunately, in cases like hit and runs, the burden of proof rests entirely with the victim if there are no cameras or witnesses around. They can’t always give the greatest testimony because these accidents happen so quickly, you’re overwhelmed and terrified, likely hurt, and over on the ground somewhere. Add in the time of day and the weather, and that’s a lot of deficits on the side of the victim. There are sooooo many of these every day, police can’t humanly track down every single wreckless driver. So while it’s morally reprehensible to leave the scene (luckily, my accident happened very close to my school, he stopped for a second, and a swarm of teenagers started booing and screaming at him–I’m not going to pretend that that doesn’t still make me smile and giggle when I think about it, it was enough time for hundreds of kids to mentally etch his license plate into their memories), no one wants to be offender, recidivist, horrible first time mistake, or whatever.

  61. Chris says:

If there was any impact it was very low. It’s a question of who had right of way. Also, where’s the proof that it was Lohan’s car and that she was driving it? All I saw was a black car driving away. At this stage Lindsay shouldn’t drive at all as she may become the target of crooks who stage accidents to rip off insurance companies, after all, who’d believe that it wasn’t her fault?

  62. Liana says:

Pedestrians have the right of way in a crosswalk, regardless of the color of the light.

  63. vic says:

this is probably not true since there is only a video of after it happened and even tmz said it probably didnt happen and they have other witnesses who say lindsay just drove past them really fast (never hitting them) and that the child was already crying.
seriously people keep saying they just want her to gtfo or get back to being healthy and acting, but all the while bullshit is still being made up about her everyday. she’s just a person trying to get her life and career in shape..take it easy on her. she isn’t a crackhead since she is being drug tested several times a week and im pretty sure it was never found that she was smoking crack?? call her a cokehead, but no i guess you can’t since she’s still clean and has been for a few months already

  64. Cheyenne says:

@Chris: Pedestrian vs. two tons of steel is no contest. Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way. Even if they are crossing against the light you have no right to run them down and go on your way.

  65. CB Rawks says:

“If there was any impact it was very low. It’s a question of who had right of way”

The light was red. Any MORE questions?
    Christ. These morons.

I hope this effing sociopathic animal gets thrown straight in jail, and in general population so that someone beats the shit out of her. God knows no other *punishment* has ever registered.

  66. Crash2GO2 says:

Liana’s right. Even if the light was green, Lindsay was still at fault, because Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way.

At least maybe it sounds like she did stop briefly to make sure they were OK. But if it were me, I would have been out of the car to check on that child STAT.

  67. moocowhead says:

..I’m starting to think her entire life is a joke.

  68. Mrs Odie 2 says:

I’d fire that nanny so fast. No walking babies in strollers in L.A. when Lohans are out and about!

  69. Anon says:

To anyone who doesn’t know this, in the state of CA, the pedestrian ALWAYS has the right of way. Period. If there is anyone in a crosswalk, it is illegal to enter it until they have safely crossed.

Also, because of this, she returned her rental maserati…yes, it was a rental, she can’t actually afford to own one.

tmz, is so pissed that radar broke this story that they are claiming the story is a lie out of bitterness, but it’s not. It happened.

  70. aj says:

Linds can run me over anytime.

  71. Dhavy says:

I can’t believe the police has not checked into this. Even if it was a small “bump” there’s probably some sort of scratch on her car and determine if it was her or not. The fact that she’s driving should raise eyebrows over there. Why are people like her always getting away with shit like this? Are they waiting for her to do serious injury to a person or worse to stop her?

  72. DetRiotgirl says:

@Shelly. I’m sorry for your loss, and I’m sorry if my wording offended you. But, if you read my post, I was not attempting to defend her driving skills. She CLEARLY should not be driving, whether this story turns out to be true or not. Several drug busts and a car jacking should have been enough all on their own to put a stop to her days on the road. I am not sure that I fully believe this baby story. But, I 100% believe she doesn’t have the right or the priviledge (or whatever other word you would like me to use) to be on the road.
