Sara Ramirez, who plays Dr. Callie Torres on Grey’s Anatomy, is an accomplished stage actress and debuted on Broadway ten years ago. She won a Tony Award for best actress in 2005 for Spamalot. She announced this year’s Tony nominees at a press conference yesterday with Frasier favorite and fellow Tony winner David Hyde Pierce.
Ramirez looked much different and I had to double check to make sure it was the same person I was thinking of. She’s wearing her hair straight now and has lost weight since the last time we saw her. She looks great and like a different person. She was beautiful curvier, and she looks lovely now. Congratulations to Sara.
The Tony nominees are led by musicals “In the Heights” with 13 nominations and “South Pacific,” with 11. Here’s the full list of nominees. The Tony Awards will air June 15th at 8pm on CBS.

She is so gorgeous. I really loathe Grey’s Anatomy, but she’s always been one of the few good things about it. Honestly, I think she deserves better than that show–I’ve never seen Spamalot, but my dad says she’s phenomenal in it. Here’s hoping that when Grey’s finally bites it, she’ll move on to something worthy of her talent.

Musey, I hate Grey’s too–I thought I was the only one! Glad to know I’m not alone. I agree that she is one of the only good parts about that show.

I always felt badly for her on Grey’s Anatomy. When you see her next to normal size people, you can tell she’s an average weight. But next to Ellen Pompeo a broom would look chunky. She looks beautiful in both pictures.

She does look beautiful in both pictures, however she looks really healthy in the first header picture. I do a lot with eating right and exercising and she looks like she is doing it the right way, getting/being healthy as opposed to skinny. Sara, vsyego Khoroshyego!!

Whew. For a second there, I thought she went under the knife or something. That would have been a true shame. She is very beautiful already, and I am a big follower of “if it ain’t broke…”
I kinda have to take a minute here to gather myself, she is just that gorgeous to me.

I think that´s lime green… not yellow but still, looks hiddeous and doesn´t seem to fit her properly!
I liker her…really do!
But her head and face are way too big, if she gets too skinny it will look so out of proportion and so damn ugly!

The color of the dress is repellent, and she needs to stay off the chemical tanner. I’m waiting for the new study about the bad side effects of that stuff.

A wonderful, wonderful woman. She’s incredibly talented, and so beautiful. And wow, her smile is amazing. I love Sara. She’s so strong despite all the bad comments she gets about her weight or shade of skin color.

Yeah, she looks beautiful with or without the weight. I do prefer her old hair though, it looked so exotic. the new ‘do is just so plain.

I heart Sara Ramirez… what an absolutely beautiful girl with a beautiful soul. She looked good in February, but she looks great now. I’m glad that Grey’s brought her on.
