  2. Elle above is the same spammer from the Cashmere agency working for E! Online. (Same e-mail, same i.p. bank, everything.) They should know better then to let you loose on the blogs, ms2fab.

At least now I can ban you more effectively, but you would have thought E! would have fired your crappy agency by now.

  6. Love SJP’s dress. My god, the miracle of fashion. She looks down right curvy.

Cynthia Nixon is ravishing in black. I loved the low-low square cut she wore in the last article here, but this is lovely.

I’m not wacky about the green in Kristen Davis’ number, but I like the cut a lot. I’m a sucker for retro details. I usually like her style a lot, it’s classic, if a little boring sometimes - the green is a pretty brave choice, so I give her points for trying.

Kim Catrall is a hot mess. Satin doesn’t photograph well at all, especially if one is larger than a whisper. A tangerine satin gown that looks like she whipped it up from her K-Mart blue light special sheet set is so not a good choice.

  7. It’s amazing how as they get older, Cynthia Nixon is now standing out! She looks great, well all of them do in this pic. Except for Kim’s dress. :S

  8. Cynthia’s dress (and the last one) is gorgeous and the most flattering out of the lot. Actually, I’d have liked Kim’s if it was a little larger and she didn’t wear sandals with high straps. She made the same mistake with the London outfit and they’re not flattering to her legs.

I don’t favour Kristin’s dress for some reason.

  9. So this show is about three whores and their mother, right ?

  10. See, SJP can be so cute when she looks natural.

  11. That is a Versace dress SJP is sporting… If that is any help, CB (unfortunately, I don’t even know half the “celebrities” you discuss on this blog so it would be difficult for me to find out to whom you are referring as the other celebrity who wore a similar goddess corset dress by Versace).

  12. Call me crazy but a similar (but not the same) dress was worn by Michelle Pfeiffer a few months ago in a dark/grey-ish brown. It had the same corset feature although it didn’t feature the draped effect on the bodice, I believe.

  13. Always can count on Sasha to make a snide remark

If you hate the show, why waste your time reading the article?

I think everyone gets it by now that you have a dislike for everything about the show, but thanks for sharing.

  14. Cate Blanchett wore a gown at Cannes this week that was a similar nude color, but the cut was a little different.

  17. Thanks Bellatrix! I knew you would know it. Also thanks Snappyfish!

Here is the gray dress Michelle Pfieffer wore, it’s probably also Versace but is not quite the same. I thought that I saw this dress on Penelope Cruz, but I couldn’t find it on her, and Snappyfish I looked for a while but could not find it on Naomi Watts or Claire Danes. Oh well.

  18. CB, Penelope Cruz did wear a Versace dress for last years’ Oscars but it was an Atelier Versace one and much more elaborate than SJP.
It has a similar concept for the fabric work and effect though but was also in a rather light shade (dusty pink). But it’s not the same collection and not the same model (although the Pfeiffer model you pictured is Versace for sure and the same “basic” model as SJP’s one).
Here’s a video of Penelope Cruz wearing Atelier Versace : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=OLBGQYG1_JY
It’s nice to see the dress “move” in real life. It shows how well Versace handles the garment factor (not just the “beauty pose”).
You can surely find many pictures of Penelope wearing that one online!

  19. Thank you Bellatrix! That’s the one I’m thinking of. I’m so glad you found it! That was bugging me for a while.

  21. Kim looks like a mess, especially from the waist down. The other 3 look great. I love Kristin’s dress. That is such a good shape/cut for her, and I think the green is terrific with her coloring.
