It seems like dating Lance Armstrong is a rite of passage for Owen Wilson’s ex-girlfriends. Kate Hudson is now dating Owen’s good friend Lance… just like Wilson’s other ex-girlfriend Sheryl Crow. Apparently the pair have been dating for about three weeks – nearly immediately after Hudson and Wilson’s split. She originally met Lance through Owen. Let’s hope these two are such good friends that they don’t mind when one dates the other’s exes.
They both have reputations as heartbreakers. Now glamorous blonde actress Kate Hudson has embarked on a passionate affair with seven-times Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. The news will be wearily familiar for film star Owen Wilson, Miss Hudson’s ex-boyfriend. He had previously had a three-year romance with singer Sheryl Crow – only to see Armstrong move in after they split and get engaged to the pop star. Armstrong, 36, may have a tough time explaining himself to Wilson – the fellow Texans are, or were, close friends. On Friday, Miss Hudson, the daughter of Goldie Hawn, flew to join new boyfriend Lance at his home in Austin, Texas, for a romantic weekend together.
A source said: “Kate and Lance have been dating for a couple of weeks. She thought it was funny when people were writing recently that she was engaged to Owen because the reality was that they had split again and she was secretly seeing Lance.
“She and Lance are both physical, passionate people – she’s never been happier.” Miss Hudson started dating Armstrong after sparks flew at a private New York dinner party. The source said: “They have known each other for a while and Lance is one of Owen’s good friends. “When Kate was with Owen, she got to know Lance really well but they hooked up again recently at a dinner party thrown by a mutual friend and that’s when the romance began. They have both been keeping it very quiet.”

By all accounts Wilson and Hudson’s second split was not a friendly one at all. Supposedly there was a lot of shouting, and they are no longer on speaking terms. That makes you wonder what must be going on between supposed good friends Owen and Lance. If I had a bitter breakup with someone, and then my good friend started dating that person, I’d be pretty damn pissed. You’d think Lance would have a little more class than that… especially the second time around.

Very funny anon…..still I dont think these two sluts are passing in the night. I think they are bumping into each other repeatedly,,and with much vigor.(in the night,,,I.m guessing.) I do like Kate ok. She will never even come close to casting as large a shadow as her mom has in her day. Back in the 60’s her mom was the gold standard of how a hot blonde should look. (I’m not even a blonde guy). When that show “Laugh In” was on…$he ruled. Anways Kate,,have your fun,Your Mom was a bit of a tart,,,back when she was your age,,ask your real dad… Bill Hudson.

Maybe it’s a prearranged thing between these two. Wilson breaks up, Armstrong swoops in.
That way Wilson doesn’t have to deal with the bitter after effects of the break up and Lance can actually get dates, because I can’t imagine him being attractive to anyone.

They seem perfect for one another. The example that they are giving four young children is sickening. Those kiddies must have seen a few come and go.

They deserve eachother. He dumped Sheryl Crowe right when she was diagnosed with breat cancer, she dumps Owen Wilson and he tries to off himself. Then she skanks around and lures him back, poor guy is probably slitting his wrists again right now. To top it off, his good buddy Lance decides to have himself some of that well used slut. Shouldn’t she be worrying about her son, instead of running from one man to the next? I remember about two weeks before the story about her leaving her husband for Owen, she was being interviewed on some show and she was saying what ” a special, understanding marriage she had”- I cannot stand her. A friend of mine who is a prop master out in Hollywood said that when he worked on the set of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”, it was hard to decide who smelled worse, Matthew or Goldie Jr.

This is, like, the fifth time her spin doctors have described her as having “never been happier”, she’s going to pop if the curve doesn’t stop going up as she drives ex after ex to attempt suicide hopping from one bed to another gaining joy in their wake.
I just don’t see the appeal– she’s built like a 12 year old boy and looks like a frog. Are these guys homos who grew up watching Laugh In and Cactus Flower or what?

Wow, it sucks to be in the public eye. Devilgirl: your info is wrong. Cheryl Crow was interviewed saying she wasn’t diagnosed until after they broke up.
I’m not aware of Kate having a reputation for being wild before she was engaged, then married. One ex-husband & 2 boyfriends over a period of a year or two doesn’t make any girl a slut. Unless she slept with all 3 the same day, it sounds like normal dating to me.
Why are you posters so bitter & judgmental? The strange twist is Lance twice being the 1st person to date Owens’ exes. I don’t think it’s sick, but it’s certainly odd & can’t possibly be good for the friendship.
The friendship was probably never as strong after the 1st time &, sadly, people seem perfectly willing to give up a friendship for a lover. Any reality tv show will show you that. -
Example: In NYC I had been dating a well known record producer & confiding in a good friend of mine who was dating a musician friend. I introduced the girl to my boyfriend to do some backup singing on a record, thinking I would help her get a little bit of a break in the industry. After he & I quit dating, I hear from her ex that she’s dating my ex (whom she’d never have met if not for me). Felt betrayed because I’d confided so much in her & she didn’t have the sense of loyalty to tell me herself.
That’s why I made the observation that I think dating the ex does take a toll on the friendship. -
Ummm, I believe he “dumped” Cheryl before she was diagnosed, and when she called to tell him, he was supportive. As for his first wife, they met up after he had cancer, not before. I just can’t believe all the stones that are being thrown at Lance and kate…everyone needs to take a good long look at yourself. All we really know about these people are what we read. As for Owen, he’s the one that tried to commit suicide, and should be held accountable for his own actions.
Not all relationships work out…get over it and move on, and mind your own business. -
Kate Hudson is such an average looking woman. I’m sure she’s come this far because she sleeps around. She’ll be just as nasty looking as her mother in 20 years!!
