The rumors about a split between Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth grow stronger by the day. Initially, reports out of Sweden seemed to indicate that Kate had done the dumping, and that it was because she felt that Alex wasn’t a good enough boyfriend because he wouldn’t marry her or something. Then, Us Weekly reported that Kate and Alex were still together, but that she was cheating on him. And now Star is saying that the whole thing is finally over, and that Alex is totally bitter about it. Apparently, Alex now thinks Kate is just a dumb, cheating famewhore and he never wants to speak to her again. Oh, Alex. I love you!
So much for parting as pals. Alexander Skarsgard – who was so crazy for girlfriend Kate Bosworth that he took her home to meet his family in Sweden – isn’t holding back his hard feelings in the wake of their fresh split.
After admitting to a friend that they called it quits because Kate wanted to see other people, he added bitterly: “I don’t care what she does these days.”
He isn’t taking her calls and says that he regrets ever dating her. Recent reports that she made out with a high school sweetheart while visiting family in Massachusetts surely only added insult to injury, though Kate has denied the story.
Skarsgard also griped that he believes Kate was using him to attract media attention to boost her ailing career. Ouch!

I don’t know about the comments that he would not be hurt or upset over the break up or over the failure of a relationship meaning nothing because he is famous. He took her home to sweden to meet family and friends, so it must have been important. Plus, he has taled about past relationships in interviews and seems to really grasp the importance of having that in his life. He is a guy who would take it to heart and that makes him all the more worthy of his fame.

Then she tried to get back into the relationship, and he refused because he didn’t like the games. If he’s refusing her calls, it means she’s calling to renegotiate, but he’s not having it.
His body is insane AND he’s really smart and sounds like a nice guy so she blew it, but the fact that he was into her shows a character flaw to me – Why did he fall for such a dull, shallow girl when there are more interesting and beautiful women in Hollywood who would jump on him if they could?

YvetteW, I totally agree with you!!! When I saw they were together, I still thought he was objectively hot, but my crush evaporated. The same happened with Orlando Bloom, whom I never crushed on, but whom I thought was cute but found less desirable because he was with her. There are certain women that make a man less attractive when he chooses them, and it has nothing to do with the woman’s physical attractiveness. I think Bosworth is quite pretty. It has more to do with her personality and what it says about a man who would desire it. At the same time, some men become more attractive when they choose an interesting woman. Brad Pitt became more attractive to women who wrote him off as a pretty boy when he chose Angelina Jolie because it made him seem to have more depth. I say seem because I’m still not convinced. Or think about the men who have dated Paris Hilton. They could cure cancer, and we still wouldn’t fully respect them.
Maybe it’s just me, but he seems to have every quality that a woman could possibly want in a man. Beautiful to the extreme, fun loving, well bred and totally a nice person, and most definitely not full of himself. Oh yes a reeky great sense of humor. Well, many people have said she is a famewhore and I guess maybe it`s true. She can`t get recognized on her own. Some thought he was getting a lot of attention because of her, but it was the other way around. Everyone who works with him, or knows him says he is just the sweetest person. I think he is just such a nice guy and is not into the whole “Hollywood” scene. He goes out because he likes to do things, not because he wants to be recognized. He has had a taste of how some Hollywood women are, maybe now he will be more careful about who he dates. There are a lot of nice women out there I`m sure. I hope he finds his soulmate.
