  1. well Cannes is a whole another thing compared to a movie premiere…even more a premiere of a movie like Iron Man,lol
she can pull it off, both looks!

  2. I think I like the new photo set up, it just takes some getting used to.

    HATE the toga party dress.

  3. The satin dress photographed so poorly. It looks cheap and patchworky, even though it probably cost as much as my car. As for the white dress, well, you should be respectful of someone who wears gladiator sandals with a toga…right??? Even if said toga is made from bed sheets, and when paired with sandal/boots/ancient S&M foot, gear makes the most beautiful gams in the biz appear to have cankles.

  4. Hate to have to say it,,but I liked her better when she just lived across the pond and we didnt have to see much of her. Hope she doesnt have 5 films in the can so she will be out and about promoting them.

  5. More stale fishsticks. I’ll see Ironman because it’s a great movie but not because of fishsticks.

  6. About the photo thing… maybe it’s my firefox script blocker (though I enabled celebitchy), but the pics on the page appear as large as the pop-up thingy. I do not really see the point of necessarity then… ?? Otherwise if you plan to scale the pics on the page down, it is a nice feature for ppl with low bandwidth. I have 10 MBits, so I don’t really care.

  7. Delicate strappy sandals would have made the toga look a million times better. The gladiator shoes with the large wooden spikes for heels… no good. I wonder how much they cost, ridiculous I’m sure.

I love her hair in the first set of photos, the back looks beautiful.

  8. The dress is unflattering and doesn’t do her figure any justice.

She should get some help, since she is a pretty girl and should not ruin it with bad fashion choices.

  9. The white dress is a Lanvin and its fierce. She looks amazing and is back — thank god as I was so sick of the hippie, bleached out, mother earth thing she was rocking for a while. The shoes in both are k-i-l-l-e-r. Fashion diva!

  10. One of the things I like about Gwynnie is she dresses herself and doesn’t use a stylist. She may have misses but the style is hers and not Phillip Blochs or Rachel Zoe. Celeb fashion was alot more interesting before those bitches.

  11. Why would you use black bobby pins in blonde hair?

  12. @Sarah re: the photo display. I want to display them at a smaller size then do the bigger display over the page, but the plugin that resizes them is not working correctly for me and I’ve been working on it for two weeks now, so the pictures are probably going to stay on the page for the time being. There’s no point when they’re the same size.

  13. I really like her shoes in the pic with the black dress. Don’t really like either dress or the gladiator shoes, but the pilgrim shoes? Pretty cute.

  14. This screems “à la Française”… Both looks are very french and widely liked here.
That dress is indeed by Lanvin and those nautical and gladiator inspired sandals are by Pierre Balmain.

I am personnally crazy about both styles and find Paltrow’s style becoming more and more mature and appealing.

Her hair also looks gorgeous. The bun version is simple and laid back. Once again, so French…
A great choice for Cannes (although many of you seem to dislike it).

  15. I think she looks fab in both gowns and I for one love the ‘gladiator’ sandals.
