George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis flew into Milan for a few days for some of the runway shows. Clooney of course had to come out to support Armani, his favorite. And Elisabetta had to show up for Roberto Cavalli, where she has “modeled” before. The photos from their trip… well, they look happy, damn it. Do I still think that Elisabetta is a coked-up drag queen hooker? Of course. But she makes Clooney happy, so I have to accept it. As LaineyGossip just noted, Canalis is like the Rolls Royce of golddigging starf-ckers. Respect. Clooney’s publicist even dropped this little love-bit into People Mag:
George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis continued to cozy up in Italy – this time in Milan, where the two dined at Da Giacomo, an art deco-themed bistro in the center of the city. The couple was joined by Canalis’s good friend, TV personality Felice Rusconi, and the actor and his lady were extra cozy. “They snuggled up together for most of the time,” a restaurant source tells PEOPLE. “At one point he was eating with one hand and had his other arm around her.”

Goodness. Laying it on a tad thick, Clooney. But whatever, like I said, he seems happy. And you know what else? George looks great here. Like he found the fountain of youth nestled in Eli’s Adam’s apple. They caused quite a scene in Milan – at this point, I think George is probably Italy’s favorite son, maybe even more than true Italians.
I’ll say something nice about Eli too: I like her black suit. A lot. It looks nice on her. She knows how to work a good pantsuit.

I have always thought she was pretty with a nice bit of feisty personality and a figure to die for. I hardly think she deserves some of the insults and name calling that are thrown her way. I don’t think either one of them is interested in getting married. They are living in the now, enjoying life to the fullest and loving every moment. If only I had the resources to be able to do that….sigh…oh well.

It’s like their whole relationship is a carefully crafted facade. A staged event every time they step out together.
I like Clooney as an actor….but I think his personal life has always sucked.

I think George looks good. But what happened to the George Clooney we know and love. Posing for photos at a fashion show? His private gentlemen lifestyle added to the whole persona we had of him.
I have always liked him, but lately I have to say what are you doing – he didn’t promote his movie which was wrong, you owe the people who put up the cash for the movie and also stand behind it by promoting it.
Now all of this publicity of them together, I don’t get it. why is he doing this? He seems to be acting the fool for this woman and it is costing him. I am quickly losing respect for him.
If he is happy with her good for him, go for it, but stop with the couple publicity and if you want to get publicity put it towards promoting your movie.

I think George feels he has come the closest he’s going to find of a Cindy Crawford (in looks) clone and he’s sticking with it.

I actually liked his acting in Dusk til Dawn. I think he played his character pretty well.
BTW, there is a difference between demonstrating and feeling affection. He’s good at demonstrating but do I buy that he’s feeling it…nope.
After he’s done with his Italy promotion etc. I expect to see him slowly planning his exist. Sorry, I don’t feel she’s the ONE. But hey, he could prove me wrong. Time will only tell folks.

One final comment on Clooney’s women. I truly felt that he had “genuine” feelings for his ex Sara Larsen.
I did sense that if the salcious Vegas stories did not get printed then he would have kept her for the longhaul. She just gave off that vibe of kind hearted and naive.
As for this current chick… well I will leave it for you folks to decide. Either way, I believe Clooney comes across as a smart man who would not want to drawn negative attention; especially if it can adversely affect his business dealings.
I say he’s playing his current hand extremely well.

I couldn’t care less about her but it makes me a little sad what this relationship is doing to him. Besides being so hot, he used to be one of my favorite stars. Now he just seems cheap and orange with a bit of desperate on him. The only times I really see the smart, charming star I fell for back when he was on ER is when he’s doing his charity work. Surprise- she’s never around for any of that. If he wants to be with her fine, but I don’t understand why he keeps trying to sell her as such a big part of his image. Keep her if he wants to but push her to the background.

Hahaha! Naw, Georgie’s been amping up this bizarre relationship ever since a really nasty blind item (gay) came out a couple of weeks ago that clearly pointed to him. Its on blind gossip and other sites. Ever since, he’s been out & about with skankybetta and looking all lovey dovey with her. After looking like he was either bored / annoyed / disgusted with her the entire past year, its kinda funny! But I think thats all this is about. Gay stories pop up, they kick into overdrive and do their stuff. I think that’s all shes there for. I don’t think either of them look good though. They both look scrawnier and older than ever. You’d think that fun lovin lifestyle would be the fountain of youth.

@ Mara I’ve noticed too that she is never around when it comes to his charity work (Hatti), but maybe his charity work is something that he just wants to do himself or it’s something that he just does with his buddies eg. Not on Our Watch I get the impression that it’s boys club only,the little women need not be/get involved. I get kind of tired of him pushing her in front of our faces,but I think he does that because he knows that the eternal bachlor image is something that people are getting tired of.His inability to commit to anyone for no longer that 1 or 2 yrs so maybe he thinks this will help his image somehow.The whole thing seems off to me,like the whole thing is over the top.
