I’m sorry but what planet do these people live on? In regular life, we only have people we WANT at our wedding. That doesn’t include people who just dumped my sister. Looking back on those wedding photos would be weird! And just for money!

The Chimpson’s are a pretty pathetic group of people. I’d feel sorry for Pete but he isn’t too bright now is he?

Stop hating on Tony Romo. For those of you who don’t watch football, he just signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys that could buy AND sell the entire Simpson family. He escorted Jessica Simpson because he’s a gentleman and true to his word. Nothing more. A “cut” of 1.4 million dollars wouldn’t affect Tony in the slightest. Joe Simpson probably played the ‘pity poor Ashley’ card.

The Chicago reports claim that they had broken up. Not that Romo dumped Jess. The truth is they broke up mutually after that disastrous weekend in Vegas at the end of April.
This is why Jess didn’t seem too upset at Diddy’s party the following weekend. It’s also why she was obviously less than thrilled to see Romo at the infamous sushi luncheon (watch the X17 video).
I think Jess and Romo agreed to get through the wedding and make the best of it. My only question is did creepy Joe have to cut Romo in on the 1.4 million?

I almost feel bad for Jess…seems like all she wants to do is find a guy, get married and settle down and noooo one will let her do that….she needs to find an average Joe and escape to a private island or something….

Psshaw. If you’re a big enough asshole to have a wedding for profit in the first place, you deserve far worse than having your magazine cover ruined by your freak dancing sister.

C’mon now–
It’s not TR hating, it’s business.
Regardless of how much his football contract is for, if the Simpsons offered him $150,000 to basically sit for an hour then go to a party, and paid his expenses, he’d be a fool not to take it.
That’s 10 years’ salary for a LOT of people in this country. And whether they’re “together” or not, it looks like he had fun. -
►Our moles tell us, when People cut a $1.4 deal for Ashlee’s wedding pics, there was a g-string attached — that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo would be there.
It’s kinda what we were thinking. Who’d pay that for Ashlee Simpson alone. That’s why People wanted to put a pic of Jessica and Tony as an inset on the cover — they sell, Ashlee doesn’t.◄
It was kinda guaranteed that Jessica would be there, so Tony was the dealmaker. Shame the source didn’t tell Romo beforehand; he could’ve boosted his asking price.

Tony is the victim in all this. Its was obvious they were so done stick a fork in it. Then he finds out, Joe pimped him out as well as his daughters. Tony could have told him to shove it. In Dallas, we know Tony is a great guy from a good family. He has a big heart and he went there even when he didn’t want to to spare Ashlee the embarrassment. Everything was staged. There were so many complaints to People that the mail out version had the inset removed.

Why is it sad that she had a insert of her sister freakdancing?
Without Jessica, Ashlee would be flipping burgers

i hate that picture of Ashlee…shes looking at the camera, which bugs the hell outta me for some reason.
I kinda hope Tony and Jessica are still together and pulling the wool over everyones eyes-they seemed cute together- not to mention happy

$1.4 million bucks for pix of the most unimpressive, unneeded celebritarded wedding of the year thus far? People Magazine got screwed.

So Pete is in on a conctract somehow earning Joe money, too. Gross.

You are FAR more charitable than me, CB.
Far from thinking that he’s being a “nice guy” (who’s giving mixed signals if he truly did dump her - yeah it’s the “easy” thing to do in the short term rather than deal with tears, but makes things a damned sight messier in the long-run)
Rather I think the man got a cut of the $1.4 million deal. Being paid to attend the function with Jessica would make him basically an escort - and we all know what that’s another name for.
