I think that was VERY responsible of her and I am very confused as to why ANY kids are watching a show like this. Good Job Kim.

I know exactly which episode they are talking about and I am so glad they re-wrote it. That would have ruined both the episode and the rest of the series for me.
-
That would’ve been innpropriate even if it was a 16 year old girl. It would’ve been more comical if it was a gay guy in his early 20s.

I used to not be able to stand her. Still am not a big fan or her acting, but I have a world of respect for her now. It’s about time someone has a moral compass in hollywood. Great job Kim.

That’s good that she did that.

Old news, but good to read again.

Glad you didn’t go into more detail about the fake spoiler… i’m finally going to see it tonight.

Agree with her. I was shocked to see 14-year-old girls in the theatre. A friend of mine also saw a little boy, probably not even 10, that her mom brought to see this movie. WTF people, WTF?

I just saw the movie last week and I commented negatively about it before I went. Pay close attention people, this is once in a lifetime….I was way out of line. I was WRONG! In fact, I like it MORE now than I did before!! I thought they did a great job with everything except accurately representing Miranda. They made her too shrill and annoying.

I like this one. Always did. Strong & beautiful. Let’s face it, forget age, she was the best looking bitch on this show. Some may argue. This woman single handedly has sent a message to women everywhere. A legend & she’s not even near her 60’s. Wow!

Mirand was always shrill and annoying on the show. She was supposed to represent brutal honesty.

When my daughter and I went to see the SATC movie we were disturbed by a couple who had brought their 8 year old son to the movie!! My daughter was so bothered that each time an inappropriate scene came on the screen she’d shake her head and say she couldn’t believe the kid was there. I too found it ridiculous, but I couldn’t enjoy the movie so I told her that it was a problem, but not “our” problem and she had to let it go so we could enjoy the show. What is wrong with some parents? Why in the world would you even begin to think SATC is appropriate for an 8 year-old boy????

The writers didn’t think because they’re mostly gay and didn’t have the heightened sense of offense to pedo that the general public does.

GoodScout — with the exception of the head writer (if that’s even his title — the big guy in charge/creator of the series), all of the writers are women and, as far as I know, straight.
I also know which episode they are talking about — or at least, the best candidate for which episode. The one where Samantha organized a big bat mitzvh for the wealthy spoiled brat, Miranda got braces, and the ‘theme’ of the show was life is like high school. I’m glad they cut that storyline. It’s ooky.

Sex and the City seems to have a polarizing effect on both men and women… people either love the movie or they hate it

Get a clue SATC- Like we need a 52 yr old worn out actress teaching a 13 yr old to blow someone-
Wow-I just realized the similarities to my sex ed class from childhood. An old chick teaching us the nasty!
hahahaha
