Britney Spears’ team of professionals is amassing their response to Star Magazine and Radar’s report that Britney is being abused or has been abused by her boyfriend Jason Trawick. Star published an interview with Britney’s first husband Jason Alexander early Wednesday morning – Alexander claimed that Britney had told him Jason Trawick was abusing her, and he, Alexander, was “very concerned” for her. Then, hours later, Radar released alleged audio of Alexander and Britney’s conversation, where you could here Britney (or a Brit imposter) saying stuff like “my daddy’s got a shotgun” and stuff. Now, while I wouldn’t think much about a denial from Britney herself, I do trust her manager Larry Rudolph, and if Rudolph says Star’s report is a load of crap, then it’s a load of crap. Rudolph goes even further – he says that the audio is “100 percent not” Britney, and that the lawyers are now working on a formal response:

The pop star’s rep is denying a new tabloid report, which claims that Trawick has been physically abusive toward Spears.
The allegations were made by Spears’s one-time husband, Jason Alexander, whose 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to the singer was annulled in 2004. In the tabloid report, Alexander says Spears told him Trawick “beat on me.”
An audio clip of the alleged conversation was posted on RadarOnline Wednesday, but the singer’s manager Larry Rudolph denies that the female voice belongs to Spears, who turns 29 on Thursday.
It is “100 percent not her,” Rudolph told Access Hollywood. “Lawyers are amassing. We are 100 percent taking stern and immediate legal action.”
Sources close to the couple also tell PEOPLE that allegations of violence are untrue.
“Jason has never been abusive to Britney,” says one close source. “Britney has in the past been very difficult and has had tantrums around Jason, but he was and is nothing but patient with her.”
In fact, says the source, “The couple’s relationship is better [than ever]. Britney and Jason lately have been very happy together.”

Meanwhile, Britney’s rep released this statement to Us Weekly:
“Every aspect of the story published by Star Magazine is completely and utterly false and Star Magazine was informed of the falsity of this story before it was published,” reps for Spears tell UsMagazine.com in a statement.
“The statements attributed to Jason Alexander are a complete fabrication as Britney has not had any form of communication with Mr. Alexander in years. The audio recording posted on Radaronline this morning purporting to be between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander is so obviously fake as to be laughable. Suffice it to say, that Jason Trawick has never laid a hand on Britney.”
The statement continues: “These irresponsible statements are defamatory and Britney Spears’ legal team will be taking legal action against all of the appropriate parties.”

Is it over now? Well… I think Star is getting sued. This isn’t some Ashton Kutcher-Chris Martin fakeout “I never cheated, I’m going to sue!” tantrum and then there is never any follow-through. As far as the actual claim of abuse – while I kept an open mind yesterday, I tend to think People’s report is probably more to the truth – that Britney throws tantrums and fits, and that Jason is very patient with her.

I definitely believe Britney has tantrums and fits. I don’t believe they would let Jason or anyone who is abusive around her kids or her.
I am sure Jason was briefed on Britney’s problems and if he couldn’t handle it I am sure he would just leave.
I hope Brit’s team sues the hell out of Star and Jason Alexander. It really is below low to do that to her.

I really hope they do sue the magazine and that slimy guy. It was such a ridiculous story. The references to Chris Martin and Ashton Kutcher fake suing made me laugh. Team Britney!

I don’t remember her ever having a black-eye. That would absolutely not go unnoticed in the press. Second, if the recordings are fake, then I’d stick with my original assessment that Jason Alexander is full of horse sh-t.
If People’s take is correct, and I also think it is, what is Trawick doing with her? Isn’t that like dating a petulant child? Oh! The piles of money, that must help.

I REALLY hate this story. I do believe Britney is extremely difficult to deal with, but it seems Jason Trawick has gotten her on the right track. And has done so without laying a hand on her. I SERIOUSLY doubt her dad would let someone stay with her if they were physically harming his daughter. As I said yesterday, having met Britney several times, that is absolutely 100% NOT her voice. I hope this lawsuit sticks and adds to Britney’s fortune.

I think Britney is much more controlled than we can imagine: conservatoriship, doctors, social service, judges and so on. If she was abused Jason Trawick wouldn’t be anywhere near her; so I tend to believe they’re ok and her ex husband wants only money. I also agree with a possible lawsuit: accuising someone, who’s innocent, of being violent it’s BS.

I hope for the sake of Britney and her children that it isn’t true. I also wonder, when she has two different conservatorships on her and her business, and she is surrounded by her parents, security, her agent, manager (Larry Rudolph, who I think is one of the better ones out there), etc. how any abuse could go on undetected. Because if Jason were abusive, then she would lose those boys. She worked so hard to get some custody and visitation back I can’t imagine that she or her team would allow something to jeopardize it.

Her eyes do look swollen and there’s some redness around the eye area.
She’s covering her mouth, as in she’s hiding something. Throughout that whole week, she appeared covering her mouth several times so some of the fans were especulating she might have got some work done such as lip collagen. Looking at recent photos, her lips look about the same, which is why I think she was probably hiding bruises!

I call bullshit on this, too. Given the amount of photos the paparazzi take of her every week, we would surely have seen her covered in bruises. Add to that the fact that her dad has really helped her get back on track in her conservatorship, I doubt he’d either let this happen or be unaware of it.
