Last week, it became public that Neve Campbell and her husband of three years, John Light, had quietly separated and filed for divorce in June. It was a gigantic “huh?” because: A) Many of us had forgotten that Neve was married, B) Many of don’t really care about Neve in general and C) Is it really a “quiet split” or did no one really give a crap in the first place? I’m not trying to be mean to or about Neve – she seems harmless, and her career probably isn’t where she once thought it would be (she recently wrapped on Scream 4, for the love of God). Anyway, if there’s anything that will get Neve some juicy headlines, it’s a hot affair! And boy, does she have one. According to Us Weekly (and Hollywood Life, quoting Us Weekly’s report), Neve is currently seeing Isaiah Mustafa – the Old Spice guy. The dude with the voice. HIM.
We guess Neve wants to add a little ‘Spice’ into her life! Five months after filing for divorce, Neve has been spotted out & about with the gorgeous Isaiah Mustafa!
Party of Five and Scream actress Neve Campbell, 37, recently announced her divorce from actor John Light, and she has since been spotted out and about in New York City enjoying the single life. According to Us Weekly, some of her time has been spent with Isaiah Mustafa, 36, the guy who stars in those hilarious Old Spice ads. “They’re dating,” a source says. “Neve is really happy.”
The newly-single Neve made her first public appearance in New York at her good pal Quentin Tarantino’s Friars Club Roast on Dec. 1. Scream 4, the long-awaited next chapter in the movie franchise that made her a household name, hits screens in 2011.
Mustafa, a pro football player who played for the Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks, is now focusing on acting–and his career is heating up. He’ll next appear as a cop in Horrible Bosses, a comedy starring Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Jason Bateman and Jamie Foxx.

It’s interesting isn’t it? First a “quiet split” that allegedly happened months ago, and then a week after the announcement, Neve is connected to a really hot dude. Is something sketchy afoot? Eh. I can’t even feign interest, honestly. If Neve is getting hers with Mustafa, more power to her.

Actually, I think this whole media ploy is sort of cute.
It’s like the inner middle-school kid in her gets some “look who I’m dating! look who I’m dating!” air time when she’s proud of who she scored.
And actually, I think I like Neve. She’s kept it low key, seems likable enough, and now she swooped in and snagged a seriously hot piece. Way to be – I’d be “leaking” suspiciously timed announcements to the press, too.
