As more reports come in about Blake Lively’s appearance at Tuesday’s Blue Valentine premiere, the verdict is in: Blake and Ryan Gosling are so on. They’re even getting a big roll-out, with stories in E! News and People Magazine. Allegedly, Ryan and Blake were all over each other at the Blue Valentine after-party, and sources are now telling every media outlet that it’s some kind of love/lust/promotional arrangement.
Ryan Gosling’s new movie Blue Valentine almost got an NC-17 rating, but the actor kept the flirtation with Blake Lively noticeably G-rated at the film’s premiere after-party.
Still, the pair were almost inseparable as they engaged in close conversation Thursday night while the event spun around them at The Top of the Standard at the Standard Hotel in New York. At one point, Gosling started to leave Lively’s side and the actress yanked him back to continue chatting, according to an observer.
As the party wound down, they headed downstairs to the hotel’s Standard Grill to dine with two other companions.
Lively, 23, and Gosling, 30, were first spotted together in October at Disneyland where they took in the sights and some ice cream at the park, an appropriate setting since Gosling once was a Mouseketeer.
Neither of the actors is admitting to anything serious. “She’s an incredible actress; she’s a good friend,” Gosling told PEOPLE at a lunch Thursday for Blue Valentine in New York at the Kimberly Hotel.
When asked generally about romances between actors and actresses, Gosling says, “You’re not allowed to have friends in this business.”

Look at Ryan, trying to by coy. So funny. Especially when even People is rolling it out. So how long do you give Ryan and Blake? I’m staying with the opinion that Ryan will get tired of her famewhore act, and that he’ll dump her in a few months. This isn’t a permanent love match for either of them, and I feel kind of bad for Ryan, actually. He deserves to be with a girl who really finds him adorable, and gets hot just by the idea of his beautiful blue eyes. Blake is not that girl – she’s only trading up for some attention, and for her career. Just my opinion.
Also: is anyone else surprised that Blake went with The Gosdong? I thought she would end up “trading up” with someone higher profile. But for now, Blake’s vagina drapes (see photo) are closed.

The only girl for Ryan Gosling is Rachel McAdams. In a few months, he will dump Blake and she will dump Michael Sheen (though I admit it’s cute how much she likes him right now) and then she will run into Ryan’s arms Notebook-style.

People Magazine is nothing but celebs’ PR voice, they report what celebs or their studios want the public to believe.
This “relationship” was arranged by Harvey Weinstein. He produced Ryan’s film in return Ryan is set up to date Blake who first had her special kind of audition with Weinstein. Weinstein is trying to make Blake a star even though she can’t act.

Ryan Gosling is EVERYWHERE right now and wouldn’t you know it, Boobs McFamewhore does love her some publicity. Blake has a great figure (not in this picture, but usually) and has that young, glowy thing going on. And pretty hair. But this chick has a crappy facial structure (small lips and eyes, low cheekbones) that won’t age well. Plus she is no great talent. I predict a brief 3 or 4 years in the limelight before her star starts to fade.
Unlike 99% of people, I could give two you-know-whats about Ryan Gosling so this doesn’t break my heart.

This is surprising I thought Ryan was one of the true men of Hollywood meaning he doesn’t play the BS games. And Blake is pretty but there is absolutely nothing special or enticing about her. Nothing makes me want to see her or pics of her and as much as I love to hate JHO, she has true star power in my mind and this blond by the dozen just doesn’t.
And I agree with Maritza, Blake looks terrible with her hair pulled back tight and every red carpet that’s what she does so I am always wondering why no one else notices how much prettier and more mature she would look if her hair was loose.

I’m calling PR stunt- Harvey Weinstein is notorious for trying to groom the young, blond starlets and there have been rumors of him trying to “make” Blake for a while.
He’s also distributing Blue Valentine, and he’s famous for working PR to benefit his films.
So…this makes sense from a PR standpoint- they’re getting a lot of press that neither was getting before this hookup. Ryan, while talented, isn’t the type of actor to get covers of GQ, Vanity Fair, etc. And Blake hasn’t gotten another role since Green Lantern.

I agree this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. I don’t dislike either but see Ryan with someone a bit less glamour pussish. I loved the pairing with Rachael McAdams. We don’t really know these people though. I know this is hugely unpopular of me but I almost kind of wanted her to hook up with Ben Aflek. I thought Ryan was higher then that. You know that Harvey Weinstein promotes Blue Valentine… And Harvey Weinstein was the one who pushed Blake Lively everywhere. Do the math.
