Last week Denise Richards dragged Charlie Sheen into court for the 283,492 time – this occasion being some sort of legal “emergency” regarding their daughters. Of course Denise made a big to do about it –that’s what you’ve got to do when the ratings for your crappy show are in the toilet. Must make sure everyone’s aware of every little detail in your life. As a result of the vague phrasing, the internet was abuzz with speculation regarding just what type of emergency had taken place.
The New York Post says Denise accused Charlie of molesting their daughters. The article isn’t clear about exactly what type of molestation Richards accused Sheen of, but no matter what the judge thought the accusations were baseless and threw the whole thing out.
Denise Richards went too far when she falsely accused her ex, Charlie Sheen, of molesting their daughters – and now Sheen will move for full custody of the kids by charging that their mother is a liar. A source said, “Denise’s accusations were vile. She was basically trying to say Charlie [manipulated] the kids and acted inappropriately with them. It’s disgusting and totally untrue. Charlie is furious . . . Denise has really pushed it too far this time.
“She came after Charlie because the ratings on her E! reality show [‘It’s Complicated’] have tanked and they were threatening not to renew,” the source said. “She thinks a court battle would be good for ratings so she wants all overnight visits with the girls ceased, and monitored visits with her nanny. She invited the media circus to the hearing and even wanted reporters in the judge’s chambers – which wasn’t allowed. It’s ridiculous.”
Sheen is said to be so furious, he’s “out to prove Denise’s lack of veracity and sue her in civil court for defamation. Then he’ll sue for child custody… Charlie has now been forced to take a stand and do what’s best for the girls,” our insider said. Reps for Richards and Sheen declined comment.

If Denise really fabricated these accusations to get ratings for her show, I truly hope she loses custody of her kids. Not just as punishment, but because that kind of behavior is truly indicative of severe mental and emotional instability. Both Sheen and Richards seem off their rocker – to the extent that a lot of commenters have said they can’t figure out who the crazy one really is. I think it’s seeming more and more likely that Denise is the real head case. If she’s prioritizing her television show over her daughters, she should be severely, severely punished. And they should be safeguarded.

Her actions are vile. To accuse someone of such a heinous act, to get ratings, is actually criminal. You can not make false and damaging accusations…even in CA.
Sheen may not be a paragon of virtue but he was the one who asked a judge NOT to allow his children to be used as props on a ‘reality show’. So in my book he is the only one who looks as if he is interested in the well being of his children.

I can’t believe these two. He was on top of the world when Platoon came out, then he took a metaphorical dump on the industry and his career when into a toilet. She used to be the hottest thing in the world ten years ago, and now she’s a deranged reality TV “star.” It staggers the imagination.
As much as I dont like her I think its unfair to pass judgment until we know the full truth. Who knows, he may have molested those girls. He is a sex addict. I think its only fair to wait until the court makes a judgment before saying she should have her children taken away. However I do think its pretty vile of her to make these accusations in a public forum like her TV show. If only to protect those innocent children.

In the lousy parents hall of fame, I actually think Brit and (repulsive) K-Fed are model parents compared to these two.
My mother threatened to pull this same crap when she and my father were going through a very nasty divorce. It wasn’t out of any genuine love, or even selfishness concerning myself and my sisters – she was just really fucking sick and wanted to stick it to our dad. Eventually, she lost it, and consequently we lost her, but it was for the better. I sincerely believe she had borderline personality disorder, and it was better for myself and my sisters to be raised by a parent (who had his own faults – addictions included) who was actually capable of love and selflessness.
Ms. Richards is a vile, vile woman, who on this basis alone should lose custody permanently. But wait! There’s more! My boyfriend and I (once!) saw her “show” while channel surfing, and it was laughable how she staged the episode to look like a doting, selfless mother – constantly putting herself before her kids. If I’m being redundant it’s because her hired help/family kept on repeating the same line about doing something for herself, not for her children. I think the only person who believed that line was Denise. The first 20 odd minutes of her being a “loving parent” was a setup for her to swing off a stripper pole the last 10.
The kids are unreal. The older hangs on to a blanket & looks miserble. I don’t think she has ever been a mother to them left it to nannies, maybe thats a good thing!

Does anyone else think it’s hilarious that the Soup rips Denise every week? I love the way they call her show “Denise Richards Colon It’s Complicated”. I don’t watch her show (I watched the one episode in which she caught her pet pigs mating and she completely freaked out or something – I kind of stopped paying attention but I think she called in a pet psychic), but the clips they show on the Soup make her look like a complete idiot. I really am not even a Denise hater; I think sometimes her personality is kind of funny, but jeez, she seems to really need some help. For the kids’ sake.
The two kids are just accessories to her, or PR tools to be trotted out when she feels the need to prove she’s not just a pole-dancing ‘ho.
She clearly has no real interest in actually parenting them, or she would have exited the spotlight long ago and gotten on with what should be the most important part of her life. She doesn’t appear to have any movie opportunities – I would think most men would be afraid to star with her – they’d be in the tabloids with her accusing them of something. She may be or may not be a liar but I am not sure a father that is a womanizer, former drug and alcoholic is the best person to get full custody. I am not siding with either party, but I believe that Ms. Richards had the limelight when she was married to Charlie, and dating Richie, but no one since then wants her. She seems to think the whole world evolves around sex in her life. And now that no celebrities are dating her, she’s all alone out there and can’t seem to make anything happen for herself, so she resorts to hellacious thoughts and ideas as to how to get back at her ex for moving on with his life. I don’t think any man or woman should cheat on his/her spouse, but some times there are things going on in the home that cause the one or the other to flee their surroundings when things get up to here… and some times one or the other person may push the other over the edge causing this to happen. I don’t think either Charlie or Denise would be the idea mate, but I tend to feel that Charlie is responsible and has grown out of a lot of his old habits, but Denise is rejected and left alone and has not found anyone else’s coat tails to ride on. There is not always physical evidence of molestation for obvious reasons, but often psychological evidence revealed in “acting out” behaviors and a variety of other FORENSIC tests that DO NOT involve leading questions. Until you any of you at this board are FORENSIC experts, you have no expertise to make any comments. There is a myth about protective mothers and parents, that they are somehow coming from a vengeful place. The majority of them are not when you research the empirical literature. Since I am not an expert in this case, it is not for me to say whether or not Sheen abused his daughters or not; however, the empirical literature and his behaviors in general (e.g., sex addictions, narcissism, etc.) would compel me to scrutizine this case quite closely if I were an expert or judge presiding over the case, especially if the children are exhibiting symptoms that denote sexual abuse (e.g., sexually acting out, post-traumatic-stress-disorder, night-mares, inconsollable tantrums, etc.). Dispel the myth of the “woman scorned” because most mothers are not coming from a vengeful place; although a small percentage are. Further,
“inconclusive” does not mean the abuse did not occur. It simply means there wasn’t enough PHYSICAL evidence, such as torn tissue, to hold up in trial to convict the perp.
