Paris is talented… at making an ass of herself.
Really, Sharon is not all that talented either so she should probably be quiet.
I also think she should probably be quiet.
Really, Paris isn’t even the one doing the branding. Someone else comes up with the ideas, someone else puts them into action, she gets told where and when to show up and then she has to show up.
So is her talent getting out of bed and getting dressed (and usually ridiculously dressed)? Then congratulations Paris, you’re talented at doing what billions of people do every single day.
Not only is she not talented, she reminds me of a human leech.

I believe that Paris is used to all the comments about her from various people, and has learned to take it good naturedly. If she hasn’t by now, I wouldn’t think she would be in the public eye so much, but at home whining. Paris has a good time wherever she goes and with whomever she is with. That is what makes her Paris, and I bet she holds no grudges against Sharon.
Sharon should shut her big fat trap. Not that I’m a fan of Paris. I’m not. But Sharon should still shut her big fat trap. I’m tired of it.

I want to defend Sharon Osbourne for making that comment, and aside from the whole shit storm with Iron Maiden that she stirred, I usually *do* agree with her.
However, Sharon Osborne, although I’m not sure I’d call “useless” is only famous for essentially being married to Ozzy Osbourne.
On the other hand, no-one said that all celebrities are obliged to kiss each other’s asses just because of their frequent exposure to the public and status.
I think it’s fine that celebrities have opinions regarding the celebrities among them, but admittedly these opinions can only be so exacerbated and instigated that it becomes childish and obnoxious.
I think it’s cool that Sharon Osbourne defends her family, and as I said, I usually agree with her; it’s the way she expresses herself that makes people not like her that much.
Sharon is right, and she’s got a hell of a business talent. She helped make Ozzy the powerhouse he is after her dad fired him from BS. So yes, Sharon is far more useful than the Hilton WHORE.
All that’s true, Rhianna, and up to relatively recently, I really liked her a lot. But she’s turned into a joke when it comes to nepotism as far as her family is concerned and has a hugely inflated sense of her own importance.
Sharon needs to be careful here as people might start looking at Kelly and wondering exactly what it is that gets her all those high-profile presenting gigs and TV work …..drawing attention to Hilton’s lack of talent might not be the wisest thing here. And I like Kelly, nice girl etc but she is where she is because of her mother.
I have to agree with most of the comments. Paris is really just a brand name — it’s the only way she can make any serious money. (Well, that and the money she makes from the sales of her sex tape with Solomon.) I mean, people aren’t exactly lining up to see her films.
Sharon is a very candid person. I don’t think she was trying to hurt Paris, she was just being honest. And she did compliment Paris as well. It’s just Sharon being Sharon.
Like it or not, what she said reflects what the overwhelming majority of people think.
Good point, Geronimo. But Hilton is where she is because of her last name, and the pushing, prodding and behind-the-scenes machinations of none other than Kathy Hilton — since she was just a teenager.
paris is like this sad (not beautiful at ALL) little twerp that has no place on the silver screen. And she knows it. only young women like, scarlet johassen, natile portman, ellen page, should be in photos, gossip, news, etc. go lay down paris, you embarass yourself.

sharon may not have any personal talent of her own BUT, she is married to an awesomely talented man! if anyone can recognize whether someone has talent of any sort, it would be sharon! the only talent paris has is being able to get men in bed with her using her name!
Sharon built the empire that made Ozzy Osbourne a household name and continues to manage prominent bands. Paris Hilton attaches her name to crappy products at over-inflated prices. I think it’s fair for Sharon to critique Paris, given that they make their respective bones primarily in the business world.
Okay…I can’t believe I’m even doing this…but: It’s obvious that Paris isn’t “reading her own book,” but that she’s actually sitting to autograph someone’s copy of it and talking to a fan who stopped her in a store. That’s what it looks like to me, anyway. I find Paris Hilton as basically repugnant as anyone…but it appears she’s being nice in the photos that go along with this little nugget. As to what Sharon Osbourne said, well, Paris can’t sing or act, but the ability to self-promote is a talent all its own. Typical celebrity narcissism aside, that girl has a drive and a confidence that put here where she is. Not everyone can do that…last name like Hilton or not. Just throwing that out there.
It does require ALOT of talent to run a sucessful business.Talent is not always connected to the arts.
Aspen: Unfortunately, that’s about as true as her phony posturing about “running a huge company.” She has hired people to promote her, and to tell her what to do. This does not come from her, independently. Narcissism is often misinterpreted as confidence. This is certainly true in Ms. Hilton’s case.
Someone said she was pretty on the outside but not on the inside. I agree accept I don’t think she’s all that pretty on the outside either. I wouldn’t say UGLY, but I don’t see any incredible beauty in her.
I also know MANY guys who think she is absolutely unattractive. I really believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder, my eye just thinks she’s so not “hot”. Her face isn’t proportioned very well, and she has a figure closer to a boys. I am NOT saying you need huge boobs to be attractive, but a little curves are nice. I also think she’s too skinny, but that also probably comes from being in Hollywood, if you aren’t that thin, you’re called fat.
Overall, I really don’t like Paris. People do everything for her and she just poses for pictures, tries to look cute and says “that’s hot”. If my dog could talk she’d have all the talent of Paris Hilton.
It’s so out of character for me to say this, but for someone famous for NOTHING, the least Paris Hilton can be is interesting.
I agree that if most people saw Paris Hilton walking down the street without knowing it was her, they’d make a huge deal out of her because she’s blonde-haired, blue-eyed, thin, and tan. In other words, she looks like the universal beauty queen stereotype that a lot of men pursue. But then again, Paris Hilton was never anyone I envied.

Actually, a lot of people think she’s unattractive because of her mannequin-like appearance. Most men like natural beauty — which Hilton has in very short supply. The drag queen makeup and bleached hair just doesn’t cut it — at least not with any of the men I know.
One more thing — I think that Hilton appeals to young girls who think that men like this type of phony appearance when nothing could be further from the truth. Hilton is not the kind of woman you’d take home to meet your family. No way.
I find it interesting that Sharon would choose Paris to slam being that her own daughter is also ‘untalented’. Sharon is parading her defense mechanisms for all the world to see. Sharon needs to take psych 101 b/opening her mouth.

I do agree with Sharon’s comment. Honestly, I’ve heard Hilton’s music and such, and it sounds horrible. I’m sure there are people that like it, but I really don’t hear any talent there. Other than that, she seems like no good to the world other than something for the magazines to use as a cover photo. She doesn’t seem beautiful to me, she seems very fake. I know guys that would love to have her, but all of those guys already have the other fake girls.
And I also like the fact that she was willing to say it. It’s good for celebrities to have different opinions of one another, to prove that they aren’t all fake.

sharon has talent. she made ozzy.. she was the manager and made ozzy as the prince of darkness. so the people that say she doesnt have talent, then go fuck yourselves.

i agree. sharon osbourne has managed so many groups and made so many people, i know id listen to her opinion if it was me she was talking about.
and Paris Hilton hasnt exactly set herself up in a likeable position.
