  2. I love the hair. I wish I could pull off those bangs but alas, I am no Petra Nemcova.

  3. I think she looks adorable and on trend. She looks like a gorgeous pin-up. She’s got that shoulder close to her face in every shot, she is working the hell out of that hair! I actually think Brinkley looks a little dated in these shots, beautiful, but dated.

  4. From kind of bland to sultry. Really suits her, makes her look so much more interesting.

  5. makes her face look bloated.

if you want to pull the 50’s look, you’ve got to consider one thing: straight hair was a no-no….show me one woman who had straight hair those days.

the colour is alright…maybe some highlights would take the flat brown away…

    :)

  7. That Rockabilly look is HUUUUUGE in the Bay Area. It has been for 10 years. I’m tired of it; it’s played out.

  8. She pulls it off. Refreshing. The blond hair makes her look like every other generic blond out there.

  11. Hey, that’s my hair!
But I will agree– you don’t straighten that look, it just makes it look limp and kind of greasy. Soft waves are how to pull it off.

  12. That is a sexy haircut. It changes her into a Czech Betty Page. It brings out her come-hither eyes and pouty bow lips. I never thought I’d read the word “rockabilly” on a gossip site, but most MySpace retro girls don’t have her features.

  13. I like the dark hair…you’re going to be seeing a lot of blondes going dark this fall, ’tis the new style (so I’ve read in the mags)

  14. Hmm not a fan, the fringe looks like it’s been cut unevenly, I wonder if she did it herself? I don’t think a fringe that short looks good on anybody.

  16. It looks to me like something you’d see on the pin-up girls from the WWII era. Not that I remember them (that’s even older than I am) but I’ve seen the pictures. I do like her better as a blonde, but the haircut’s okay. I prefer wispy bangs, but what the heck, it’s her hair.

  24. she has a heavy lower half of her face around the jaw area and the bangs do nothing to de-emphasize that. it makes her face looks fatter. not a fan.

  25. I love her new look!!!! She looks different and not like a carbon copy of a half dozen other blonde models. It will take time for people to get used to though, because it’s so drastic. I don’t think it ages her or makes her face look bloated at all. She’s cute!!

  26. huh: I used to live in the East Bay, I was all over it. Moreso Alameda County than Contra Costa. I went to school in SF, at state. Now I live in Sonoma County.

  27. Daisey, I thought Rebbecca de mornay immediately also, but the movie where she plays the crazy ass nanny. J-Lo wouldn’t give that nanny any crap!

  28. What did she do? A brownish red color and a Betty Page style bang hair cut, she looks lovely. She could be bald and prettier than 90% of the women out there.

Blond hair is difficult and time consuming to maintain, it’s also very damaging to a woman’s hair. She may have been told to get her hair in better condition for a while, and expect her to shorten it soon if that’s the case. It will grow.
