Britney Spears seems to have really gotten her life together, and is looking amazing, to say the very least. But she’s gotten more than a few people worried that she’s in a two-steps-forward, one-step back situation. Apparently several of Brit’s family and friends are worried that she’s once again dating paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.
Just as things looked to be getting better for troubled Britney Spears it appears she has reunited with her badboy former lover Adnan Ghalib. The popstar is taking a break in Las Vegas before before [sic] attending the MTV Video Awards later this week. And she has been showing off her newly svelte figure, looking better than ever as she relaxed by the pool in a tiny bikini before heading out in a slim fitting sundress.
But also in the city is Birmingham paparazzi Adnan, who has been accused of having ulterior motives by Britney’s father Jamie… But despite Britney’s father’s staunch disapproval of Adnan, the pop star is understood to have started seeing Adnan again, TMZ.com reported.
However sources claim the two haven’t got back together for purely romantic reasons - Britney is apparently terrified Adnan has an explicit video of her, filmed during the couple’s brief trip to Mexico in January. ‘Britney’s really scared that Adnan has a sex tape,’ an insider told MailOnline last month. ‘She wants to get it out of his hands.’
Britney’s father, who is still her legal custodian following a legal order earlier this year is said to have made his dislike of Adnan obvious. ‘Britney’s father can’t stand Adnan,’ said the source. ‘He thinks he’s seedy, with ulterior motives.’

Rarely do you find yourself thinking about two people, “Wow, I hope he just has an explicit sex tape and they’re not actually dating,” but in this instance I really hope that’s the case. If Adnan was threatening Britney with a tape, she’d at least have a healthier motivation for being around him. If she were dating the guy again, I can’t even imagine what kind of psychological trouble she could get herself back into.
And she really has worked hard. Everyone kept saying how great she looked – and it was clear she was much healthier. But with these pictures from this past weekend, it looks like Brit’s arguably in the best shape of her life.

Britney’s been so off the radar these days (despite paps trying to keep her in the spotlight) that no gimmick would surprise me. But Adnan is soooo last year!

Whoever she wants to date is her business, not her father’s! Her father is no “legal guardian”, he is ONLY guarding her estate, folks, or else she couldn’t legally be awarded nights with her kids (DUH!!!). I hope she’ll get her father out of the picture once and for all, since she is showing that she has her stuff together now. And for the rest, I wish her all the best on the road of recovery. As a person with mental illness, I know how nasty it is to have a guardian appointed for a reason (money) who thinks he knows better than you who you need to date or hang out with. Jamie keep on minding the checks and shut the heck up.

I am glad she is a snooze fest. IF she did have tape, chances are she was under some sort drugs, meaning they couldn’t distribute it anyway.
BTW, Rosanna, people who have mental illness usually need their guardian just as much in the good period after all their drama as the darkest spot. It is too easy to slip back down that hole, thinking you are fine and don’t need your meds and such.

I saw Adnan on an episode of Kathy Griffin’s Life on the D-List - I was surprised at just how normal and un-sleazy he seemed. Shocking.
In that episode, it seemed like Brit was calling Adnan every two seconds. I kind of think she’s the one pursuing the relationship, not him.

Rosanna, you are correct that Jamie’s guardianship is over her estate and not her person. But he is still her father, and fathers always feel like they know best for their kids (mothers too). So let’s give him a break?

Poor Britney has the worst taste in men. She’s determined to surround herself with sycophants, users and takers. She’ll blew through all her money one day and end up like Anna Nicole if she’s not careful.

This has been thrown out there more than once since the notorious breakdown days, and it’s never shown to have any truth.
