Celine Dion has made her triumphant return to Las Vegas! These photos are from her welcoming party/ceremony at Caesars Palace, where she happily showed off her four-month-old babies, Eddy and Nelson. I love how these photos have the vibe of an official visit by a head of state. It’s like, “Queen Celine returns home to her emirate, Las Vegas.” I also love how orange Rene Angelil is – he looks like a big carrot. The babies are adorable, though. The one that Celine is holding is all “Jimminy Crickets, FLASH!!!”
Celine Dion was seen yesterday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where she came to begin rehearsals for her high-profile show set to debut March 15 at The Colosseum, and she did not come alone.
Dion came with her 4-month-old twins Eddy and Nelson in tow, along with her husband and manager Rene Angelil and her 9-year-old son, Rene-Charles. The Daily Mail reports that the twins wore matching blue baby grows and white hats. The twins were cradled in their parents arms as they posed for fans and photographers at the steps of the hotel and casino.
Dion has revealed previously that she was originally supposed to have triplets this month, but lost one of the babies early in the pregnancy. The names of the twins are significant for the singer and her husband. Eddy is named after Eddy Mornay, the producer who worked on Dion’s first five albums.
Mornay was like a father to Dion. A rep of the couple said, “Eddy is a major influence in both Celine and Rene’s lives.”
Meanwhile, Nelson Mandela was the inspiration for their other twin’s name.
“Rene said that in just the few minutes they were able to spend with him, they were impressed by the human being he is,” the rep continued. “Celine and Rene want their children to be inspired by their names, because they were so inspired by these men,” the rep added.

So Queen Celine is back in her homeland, being paid buckets of money on a daily basis to sing her heart out. And she comes back home bringing two new princes to the queendom, hallelujah! Seriously, I’m really happy for Celine, and those babies are gorgeous. Oh, and Celine’s nursing boobs look gorge too. All hail!

that’s a shame that she had a third that didn’t make it through the whole pregnancy. That must have been really hard for them to deal with, but at least they got two healthy, beautiful little pookers.
I was never a fan of her music (and I think her husband is creepy…) but I always loved how good-natured she was when they spoofed her on SNL, and I think she even had Ana Gasteyer come out on stage (in full Celine-impression mode) during one of her concerts.
All hail, indeed. Celine is my one and only true celebrity indulgence. It’s my protected constitutional right. The 4th or 12th amendment I think (one of those th’s amendments). Nelson and Eddie are soooo beautiful. The triumpant return is absolutely warranted. God, what a magnificient human being. Okay, I’ll stop but one more big gushhhhhh!

CD looks great. I’m sure she’s had work done recently but it’s subtle. She’s never been conventionally pretty but her looks have softened and she seems very secure in herself.

It does look like a royal family tour-all hale Queen Celine! She looks fantastic-definitely makes the most of what she’s got. Her children are gorgeous! I’m really happy for her-she really went through a lot to have those adorable babies.

RHONYC, it was much lighter, but it’s likely just age that changed it, not hair dye.
When I was young, I had fully blond hair, not dirty blond, not dark blond, but fully blond until I was 7. Then, almost overnight, it turned brown.

Not a fan of a man his age having babies since realistically he wont see them grow up and get married and have grandkids but I guess thats a crap shoot anyhow since we never know how long we have on earth so congrats to them.

i mean, she’s old school, and i appreciate that more and more each day-as we deal w/yet another low brow reality star on the carpet….or another star telling us how to live our lives…
not CD…she emanates old school respect for her fans, for the role she’s playing, etc.
I used to haaaaaaaate her, back in the early years-she just bugged. But have come to really appreciate her(: and sometimes just having a ‘singer’-is so nice in that old-fashioned way. simple and elegant. no dancing, antics, fireworks, aerobics or charades. just singing a song. it’s refreshing anymore….
She’s great. She works hard and is generous with her charitable causes. The world would be much better if more stars were like her.

I was so impressed by her ability to be such a good mom, wife, performer and business woman when I watched the documentary of her last world tour on OWN. Worth watching again if they rerun it. Her children are beautiful. I am so happy for her!
