I just read the Jennifer Aniston post on Dlisted at lunch and almost choked on some pita and hummus. The people around me were looking at me like i am mad, because my whole body was shaking w with laughter.

Kate Blanchette’s face is distinctive and shows a lot of character so she can wear a simple hair style and make it happen but Heigl and her face both are just “meh” so this hairstyle makes her look even more boring. She always looks just like a suburban housewife to me.

This is the haircut you end up with when you decide to get your extensions removed.
(And Lohan will have the same hair-do before it is over with.)
There is no graceful way to take extensions out. You have to do a drastic cut and start all over, growing your hair out.
And the dumb thing is… Heigl had really nice long hair of her own… before she let some hack hairdresser talk her into the extensions.
Cheez, I actually like the cut, it’s a testimony on how not to trim your hair while drinking a maxi margarita, isn’t it? Fair warning.

I for one am happy to see this trend towards shorter hair. I am SO SICK of the long scraggly stripper extensions that everyone seems to have these days.

I love Cate Blanchett and her short cut is just Yummy.
I think the thing off for me about her cut is the harsh color. That blond does not look good on her. I think if the hair was a bit darker it would look better. That color makes her hair look damaged. She has fair skin and she needs darker hair.
But at least she is not afraid to change it up. She actually cut her hair and it looks different.
