Heather Bruce, Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin’s sister, has watched Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live, with the sound on, and she thinks Fey is “dead on”… physically.
“[It is] really dead on physically,” according to someone who should know – Palin’s sister, Heather Bruce.
“[Tina] does a great job,” Bruce tells The Insider in a two-part interview set to air Thursday and Friday. “Maybe “[she] goes a little bit overboard with the sarcastic impressions, but I know that’s Hollywood.”

With the exception of a few people who take these sorts of things too seriously, she wouldn’t get many people disagreeing with her. Tina Fey was born to play this woman in political history. Or Sarah Palin was born to be played by the genius that is Tina Fey. Either way, it was a match made in SNL political parody heaven.
Tina Fey, though, hasn’t been the only television exposure Bruce’s sister has had lately. Palin did a series of interviews with Katie Couric, which served as the setting of one of the SNL sketches, verbatim at times. Couric did a fine job, but she’s Katie Couric, not Chris Matthews, so it was hardly cutthroat. While Palin’s sister seems to enjoy watching the Saturday Night Live openers, she’s less enthusiastic about the Katie Couric interview.
“I couldn’t make myself watch. It just seemed like maybe she was attacking harder than I could have handled,” Bruce says. “But [Sarah] is cut from a different mold than I and she can handle this.”

I’m guessing she won’t be watching Larry Flynt’s take on Palin. Porn producer Flynt’s Hustler Video has put his signature spin on his views of the Alaska governor and will be distributing it soon.
Flynt’s producers posted an anonymous help-wanted ad on Craigslist in L.A. just days after the Republican convention. “Looking for a Sarah Palin look-alike,” read the ad, “for an adult film to be shot in the next 10 days.” The actress would be paid $3,000 for the part, said the ad.
Flynt’s spokesman David Carrillo confirmed to us yesterday that the film has been shot by Hustler Video, but he wouldn’t yet reveal the title. They need only consult bloggers from humorist Mo Rocca to Choire Sicha at Radar, who upon discovery of the ad came up with such gems as “Juneau You Want It” and “Northern Xxxposure.”

To be shot IN the next 10 days, not OVER the next 10 days. I thought it meant, in 10 days they’re shooting a film, without specifying how long it would take to shoot.
I was watching the debate last night and I kept looking at Sarah Palin thinking, “wow, she looks just like Tina Fey.”

Isn’t SAG scale for background $130 for 8 hours (or something close). So for almost double that, you too could get a bump from ‘blurred face in the background’ to super duper close up. -
Too late, syko, it’s in pre-production. But perhaps they’ll make a sequel. The..um..storyline is quite creative….

Tina Fey is a talented writer…I’m sure we WILL be hearing MORE from her LONG after this election is over and many people will have forgotten about that joke of a woman, re: Sarah Palin! And it’s about time she gets that baby of hers a damn babysitter/nanny; NOBODY in there right mind would have a baby out all hours like she does! I had to vent!

I seriously would feel a lot more comfortable having Tina Fey in office than Sarah Palin. I have the feeling that Fey is at least twice as intelligent.
