These are some new photos of Gisele Bundchen in Istanbul, Turkey, launching a new collection of her Ipanema sandals. The sandals are Gisele’s own invention – I believe that a chunk of the proceeds from the sales go to one of Gisele’s environmental causes. That’s all well and good. Now tell me this: is Gisele looking kind of pregnant to anyone else? I asked CB to look and she thinks that Gisele looks “too full” for it to be just a food baby or whatever. My thoughts: Gisele is always skinny as a rail, and her stomach – even post-natal – was always super-flat. So either Gisele really enjoyed the hell out of the food in Istanbul, or Mother Superior is expecting another saintly blessing.
Meanwhile, you know how Tom Brady and Gisele are all “Bostonian” right? Well, several months ago they bought a huge chunk of land in LA, and they’ve been building their dream home out there. You can see photos of the place here and here – it’s still under construction, but it’s HUGE. So much for the environment, right? The place is 22.000-square feet, and includes eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, a spa, weight room, wine cellar and a BRIDGE. Also, sources claim that Gisele is “really tough to work with, screaming at the construction workers whenever she disapproved of their work.” Well… I guess it’s their money, they can spend it how they want.
And my guess is that Mother Superior is going to need all of those bedrooms for all of the babies she’s going to be having! Starting with this one:

Maybe but I think it’s more due to the arching of her back. She’s wearing flats and I noticed that the typical model pose with shoulders and ass sticking out tends to look totally exaggerated when done in flats. It could do strange things to one’s stomach area.
The link says it is over 22,000 square feet…which makes much more sense. That house looks much closer to 20 than to 11 (I’ve been in a house that was 10,000 square feet and it was much smaller than the one in the photos).
I dont think she looks pregnant and I do think she is ugly as sin! That is quite a house to be building!

From the way she’s only posing from the side it looks like she wants to show off the bump. So, I’m thinking maybe so. However, the pose while holding up the shoes makes her look lke an HSN model. NOT a good look.
All of the VS models do those exaggerated poses to make up for their complete lack of curves (besides breasts). They’re always sticking their rears as far as they can to give them the illusion of an ass.

calling “manly” is the new black. Every celeb I like gets called that 24/7. Its so old. Not everyone looks like a fat faced chipmunk head (thanks heaven) and Gisele never lets herself go unlike many models do so for her to have any protrusion on her wash board abs does raise an eyebrow. I hope they make many more beautiful blonde babies, we need more pretty people.

#20 weird indeed because when I think of Supermodels I think of sky high cheekbones and thin faces. Maybe average women would become Supermodels if they had less face bloat and some actual definition instead of looking like double chinned munchkins all the time. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t consider the ‘ideals’ one has to reach to become a ‘supermodel’ to necessarily reflect what’s attractive (or healthy, for that matter). I’m sure KMart manages to find reasonably attractive ‘peasants’ like us for their catalogues.
Well, I don’t know if the sandals I have are from this same collection or if they’re just ordinary ones Gisele just happened to put her name to, but I wear them all the time and they’re not bad for $10 (I got them on sale). They’re comfy but not like they’re better than anyone else’s sandals. 😉
To be honest, Gisele never popped up on my celebrity radar until she had her baby and made those silly comments about breastfeeding, etc. So I don’t know if she’s always been “Mother Superior” or if this is something that’s recent. I don’t dislike her, but I don’t give anything she says too much weight. She’s a celebrity, after all, and doesn’t live in the real world. 🙂

Before the whole Bridget thing and prior to Bridget bashing her name all to He*l and back in every interview she did/does, Gisele was quite liked. Even the people who didn’t like her look always said she had an amazing personality. The media didn’t nit pick at her either, prior to the whole Bridget ordeal. I respect Gisele that she never bad mouths anyone in her interviews. I much appreciate people who speak about their own lives, rather than the lives of others to the media. Its catty,bitter and fame seeking. Oh yeah and glad Gisele didn’t pose on a cheap tabloid OK cover with her son after his birth. That is a very D list/unclassy thing to do. Actions speak louder than words is so correct.

I don’t remember Bridget blasting Gisele’s name all to he** in ’07. If I’m not mistaken, it was Gisele who called a fetus similar in size to
Bridget’s unborn baby a mere “speck”. It was Gisele, a few days later, who proclaimed she was going to start her family the “right way” AFTER she was married. Her histronics kept Brady from seeing the kid for almost a year, and there are a legion of reports out of Boston when Brady decided to grow a pair and develop an amicable relationship with his son’s mother, Gisele would fly off the handle and on at least two occasions stormed out of restaurants to leaving Brady to finish the meal alone. Tom’s parents even had to admonish the couple for fighting in public over Bridget’s upcoming due date during a vacation in Italy in July ’07. Then, in front of any camera she could find, she pretended Bridget’s son was hers. Predictably, when she gave birth to Benjy, she lost all interest in Jack. I think Gisele’s contentious attitude trumps the “Life Without Daddy” cover.
