Oh, here’s something: William and Kate are being made into His and Her Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. William is also getting the titles Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus. AWESOME.
UPDATES: Most of the guests are there, including a HATLESS Sam Cameron, Posh Beckham, etc. The Princes just arrived! William is wearing dashing red, Harry is wearing black. Both are wearing their military uniforms.

Chelsy’s dresses (yes, she’ll be wearing 2) were custom made by Alberta Ferretti. So they were tailored, she just made them look like hell. I like the girl but she looks permanently tired.

Katie’s dress is very nice. Love the petal, pleating effect on the back. Simple, tasteful, surprisingly low cut in front. Notice the short vail , not cathedral length. Very interesting. Tiara nice, very understated. Don’t respect the girl, but she looks GOOD!

I noticed the nuns also. These royal weddings have sort of an interfaith feel to them, with other religions participating. William may some day be head of the Anglican church, but to have other religions represented shows respect for all the religions of his potential “subjects”.

A nice picture of the dress. You can see that there was an awful lot more detailing on it than shows up on screen.
I didn’t notice the nuns myself, but there are representatives from different faiths there. Even the RC Primate of All Ireland, Cardinal Sean Brady will be there, the first time ever an Irish RC church man has ever done so. He has done much to help mend sectarian divides, so I think it was touching that he was invited.
As for why there’s no women in the choir – the Cathedral school is single sex. Traditionally women didn’t attend monasteries

BBC America had much better, more “British” coverage with not alot of talking. They also had the class to not constantly compare with William’s mother. It was William and Catherine’s day. They also gave better explanations on the pomp and circumstance of the event. NBC showed the wrong carriage when they talked about which one the couple would be in. They were wrong on so many levels.

When I watched the wedding today…I felt I was witnessing a great historical moment in time. Something the likes of which we might never see again. It was 30 years ago when I saw Diana and Charles’ wedding…but this was so much better! Because I think Kate and William were more ready to be in the limelight. Just better prepared in general. So while I am not British…it was a fascinating event to witness!
