Sarah Palin just welcomed her second grandchild, from her 22 year-old son, Track, and his bride of two and a half months, Britta Hanson, 21. So this 47 year-old abstinence advocate now has two grandchildren from two out of her five kids (the only two that are of age) that were conceived out of wedlock. Congratulations are in order!
Sarah Palin has become a grandmother for the second time, according to reporter Joe McGinniss, who is writing a book on the former vice presidential candidate.
Palin’s eldest son, Track, and his wife, Britta, welcomed a baby girl named Kyla Grace Palin on Sunday night, reports McGinniss, who moved next door to the Palins’s Alaska home in 2010 to gain better access to the family.
In May, it was announced that the high school sweethearts were married. The Palin family never officially confirmed Britta’s pregnancy, though pictures of her baby shower surfaced on Facebook.
The former Britta Hanson was once roommates with her husband’s younger sister, Bristol, in Anchorage, and served as an executive secretary in the governor’s office, beginning when her mother-in-law was governor of Alaska. She is currently a nursing student at the University of Alaska.
Track Palin, an Army Reservist, has said he plans to study at the University of Alaska after the commercial fishing season.
Neither Todd Palin, nor a rep for the Palin family responded to requests for comment.

This story is confusing to me. People regularly runs official stories from the Palin camp, so it seems strange that they’re running this story based on details from the next door neighbor. I looked up this biographer neighbor guy, Joe McGinniss, and Palin once bitched about him moving next to her. She wrote on Facebook “Wonder what kind of material he’ll gather while overlooking Piper’s bedroom, my little garden, and the family’s swimming hole?” McGinniss called Palin’s response “the same kind of tactic that the Nazi troopers used in Germany in the ’30s,” and she of course blurted something back because she never ignores any criticism, however absurd. So it’s safe to assume that McGinniss isn’t speaking on behalf of the Palins here.
Radar got a confirmation on the baby’s name and sex from Britta’s mother, the baby’s other grandmother. She said “Kyla Grace is great. She’s beautiful.” That’s sweet.
I shouldn’t focus much on Palin at this point. She’s not as relevant now and she seems to have been eclipsed by the competition anyway.

Just to point out that Joe McGinniss is not some random writer. He writes non-fiction and/or true crime books. The kind that get lots of attention.
And I suspect his book will be a excellent read.
He is the type of researcher that leaves no stone unturned. So Palin has a reason to be bitchy about him. He is going to air out all her stupidity for the world to see.

Yeah, Joe McGinnis is no slouch–he’s high profile. I think it’s awesome that he moved in next door probably just to bug her. Remember, the Palins are not living in tract housing (that could be the next baby’s name!)–next door is not within arms’ reach by any means, and I believe the “swimming hole” is an entire lake.

Anyone who wants to know how Sarah Palin is should read the tell all written by her right hand man, Frank Bailey. Per the book, SP is one person who can’t let a slight go by, big or small. She spends all her time discrediting her critics rather than focus on her govt job. See story about the faux Piper lemonade stand. How she attacked that poor man who lived next to the governor’s mansion and had the gall to complain about tourist trucks swinging by the office.

Joe McGiniss wrote a book about Jeffrey McDonald called Fatal Vision. If I remember right, he’d intended to write it to spotlight McDonald’s innocence in the murders of his wife and kids, but after interviewing McDonald, family, law enforcement officials, and going through all the documents from two trials, he leaned towards McDonald’s guilt and wrote it from that point of view. I think McDonald may have tried to sue him. Kinda fuzzy on the deets, but I think I’m right. That may be why old Sarah wasn’t happy about him moving in. That or her blocks her view of Russia from her front door…

Ironically for the conservative Palin, this is her second grandchild conceived out of wedlock. I am glad that Track decided to marry his pregnant girlfriend and wish them the best. Palin needs to stop being so hard on other people and focus on the morals of her own family members.
Her two conceived out of wedlock grandchildren ARE proving the point of abstinence-that babies happen when you fool around; birth control measures don’t always work! If you don’t want to be pregnant -don’t do the deed! As a mom-I always told my girls there are no “accidental” pregnancies; it’s not like a penis came around the corner when you least expected it,so therefore it’s no accident!

First of all i can’t stand Sarah Palin,but come on, how many other people had children out of wedlock in this country.It’s the norm in the good old USA..Just because this child was conceived out of wedlock doesn’t justify all the negative comments.This baby is a human being that is loved .So let Sarah enjoy her grandchild as every other grandmother does and spend quality time with her granddaughter then maybe she will disappear out of the spotlight when everyone stops snooping into her personal life
