This Kate Winslet story is funnier than the “Kate Winslet has a tweaked face” story that everybody complained about. So… not only does Kate have a tweaked face (allegedly!), she also dumped her fancy, pretty piece, Louis Dowler, for a married man. The married man in question is Richard Branson’s nephew, a dude who legally changed his name to Ned RockNRoll. This is the dude in question, on his wedding day just two years ago:
He looks super-fancy. Extra-special. Anyway, sources are all gossiping in the UK that Kate Winslet dumped Dowler and she’s now all loved-up with Ned – you can see photos of Kate and Ned together here, at The Mail. Ned is still “technically” married – as in, he and his wife have separated, but no paperwork has been filed and the wife wants him back. Seriously? This dude?
She was hailed a heroine after saving Richard Branson’s mother from his burning villa in the Caribbean. But it now seems the trip may have produced another memory for Kate Winslet. The actress, 35, is said to be dating the mogul’s nephew, Ned Rocknroll.
They became close while holidaying at the luxury house on Necker Island last month, The Sun reported. The pair were pictured arriving together for the memorial for Richard’s father Ted in London on Tuesday.
But Ned, 33, who changed his named from Abel Smith by deed poll, is still married and his estranged wife Eliza, 23, reportedly wants him back.
A source told the paper that after the couple split earlier this year ‘Ned was heartbroken and went to Necker island to take his mind of things.
‘But when Kate came out they really hit it off. They had met before on the island but were both in relationships. When they left they travelled to New York to be together.’
But the new couple are keeping tight-lipped on any romance. Kate’s agent told the MailOnline today: ‘As usual, I am making no comment on Kate’s private life.’
Kate was pictured leaving for the island from Gatwick with her on-off boyfriend, Burberry model Louis Dowler on August 20. Before that they had not been seen together since November 2010 and he did not accompany her to the Emmy Awards over the weekend where she won a gong for her role in Mildred Pierce.
The source added: ‘Kate has been so happy. At the Emmys all she did was keep showing people pictures of Ned and talking about him.’
Meanwhile his wife Eliza reportedly said: ‘I’ve changed my mind about the divorce. I am hoping this will turn out to be more of a break. I have never stopped loving him and we are soulmates. We’re not getting divorced.’
The couple were married in a lavish ceremony in 2009 at Eliza’s family’s estate in Sussex.
Princess Beatrice is said to have been a guest.Kate was with her two children Mia, 10, and Joe, seven, when she carried Richard’s mother Eve downstairs as his home on the island burned to the ground on August 22.

Oh, Kate. GIRL. You could do better. WAY better. Incidentally, I thought Kate could have done better than her hot piece Louis Dowler too. Yes, he was pretty and young, but he also seemed… I don’t know, rather vapid? Uncomplicated. I got the feeling that Kate wanted something uncomplicated after her marriage to Sam Mendes ended. And now that she’s had her rebound with Louis, she’s ready for something real… with Ned RockNRoll? Oh, Kate.

She is starting to remind me of Madonna. In 15 years she will have horrible hair and chicken cutlet cheeks and some new piece younger than her son. Kate needs a Kenneth Branagh type: somebody who is English and artistic and works primarily in theater. Somebody who isn’t too beautiful but who isn’t too unique or strange looking either.

The red dress is fab on her. I have to edit something I said in a previous post. I thought that Kate wore too many form fitting things and was trying to look smaller. Well..
I just got my In-Style and Kate is the Best 10 Looks feature. And she looks best in more form fitting clothes. There are a couple frocks Kate wears that are more embellished, A-line, less form fitting in general, and these are not her best looks.

I used to love her and now I’ve started to really dislike her and I wonder why. She just seems so egotistical! So snobby and fake.
Maybe it was how she gushed over her Emmy win- I didn’t buy it. Same for her Oscar win- it all seemed like an act. If you think Goop acts like she’s above everyone then don’t get me started on Kate!
