Madonna’s friends are incredibly worried about her after the singer told her assistant to get all the presents Guy Ritchie ever gave her so she can bury them. Apparently this signals a major meltdown: I call it moving on. Aren’t you supposed to set fire to it or something? Madge doesn’t really seem the sentimental sort, and I assumed she was just cleaning house. But her friends seem to think otherwise and are worried that she can barely function.
On the heels of a British report that Madonna has asked her assistant to gather all the items she received from Guy Ritchie so she can bury them, a source close to the Material Girl says that friends are worried Madonna is in “full meltdown mode.”
“In recent years she’s really relied on her Kabbalah advisors, but more for big decisions. She’s barely functioning without a consult at this point,” says the source.
What does this mean for the singer’s friendship with Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez?
“Madonna’s going through some tough times, but she’s still planning a trip to Malawi when the divorce is finalized and her tour is over, and she still expects A-Rod to come on the trip with her,” says the source. “There’s very much a deep relationship there, even when she’s going through what she is now.”

I have a hard time imaging Madonna having any sentimentality or even feelings. I know she must because supposedly everyone does, but she’s so cold and hard that all I can do is think of her dancing around a bonfire cackling evilly to herself while she burns everything Guy ever gave her, sat on, looked at, or might have gotten his Guy germs on.
Clearly Madonna moved on from this relationship months ago and is already pretty deeply into A-Rod. Why are her people continuing to try to put out all these “Poor, helpless Madonna” rumors? Yeah she looks like a jerk compared to him, but I don’t think any garbage about how sad she is will help. It’s like if someone pointed at a slab of concrete and said, “See that chunk of cold hard stuff? It’s really sad because that rock over there doesn’t love it anymore.” And then you see that the concrete is snickering because you bought it. And it sorta looks like Madonna, except that it has more personality and warmth.

Ms. Gristle is melting! When Guy compared her body to cuddling with a piece of gristle, I knew he had finally snapped. The quiet Englishman has lasted longer than anyone else, much to everyone’s amazement. Rugged Guy will have no problems finding someone new to cuddle with-he is so damn sexy!

Why does everyone try to slam Madonna’s age? Just b/c she is 50, does not make her someone who is unworthy, and irrelevant. If she were a man, no one would be commenting on her age—period! It just seems that there are a lot of jealous people out there b/c Madonna looks better, and is more physically fit than the majority of the population (twenty somethings included). Age-ism is something that our society really needs to overcome, it is another form of discrimination!

It’s not a meltdown, she’s just ticked off that the relationship didn’t end exactly how she wanted it to.
Oh, well, it’s called life, Mads. Breakups happen to everyone and not everyone has a 100 million plus fortune to cry over afterwards.
Again, can’t she just count her blessings or something? Or better yet, auction off those gifts and give the money to charity.

I totally agree this alleged ‘meltdown’ is due to a PR disaster approaching epic proportions in her mind.
As for her hands, it is said “a lady’s hands proclaim her habits” so it’s obvious Madonna’s habit is that of sucking the life force out of anyone that comes into contact with her.

Can’t stand the woman, always have and it has nothing to do with her age. I never could understand the hoopla about her music, I don’t think she can sing, but whatever.

Madonna is going through tough times? What about Jennifer Hudson? Those are tough times, Madonna is just a publicity whoring drama Queen who has to have attention 365 of her life. I love Madonna. She does what she wants and why shouldn’t she? That’s how life is- no one really gives a shit about anyone other than themselves anyway, so you better be able to fully take care of yourself. Madonna learned when she was 5 yrs. old and her mother died (which still affects her to this day, as she does have feelings), that you have to be tough and strong. What you see is what you get with her. I’m all for that- cut the bullshit.

I also think it is stupid the way society looks at age, especially in women. I am 51 years old and lots of men think I am sexy! Many woman are in their 50’s and older!
I think Madonna is sexy and in great shape…and talented too.
I think she can be a bit less strict with the kids, like let them watch T.V. and stuff…but otherwise she is a good mother.
And if Guy said anything about her age or looks..both of which are great! Then he is just a jealous man that wants all the attention and I feel sorry for him! -
Just as a bit of information, many “spiritual” people believe burying is better than burning for things you don’t want to have around anymore. Burning releases the energy, negative or positive, that you associate with an item. It’s perfectly believable that she would want to bury things from Guy instead of burning them.
That being said, I think she’s an insane and overrated bitch.

Oh contrare Jaime, people do have feelings for others and surprisingly have the ability to show it. Madonna is not strong, she is extremely insecure and controlling, probably due to her mother’s death, but still, she has a main share in paranoia!
And it’s not ageism to say that Madonna is old , I think they are saying that her PR machine and “morphing” schemes are old because we’ve all seen behind the curtain. And - she’s a bitch! -
50 is hardly old. In Madonna’s case, the glimpses you get of the being behind the mask looks skeletal and somehow inhuman, and several decades older than 50.

Hardly a meltdown. Break-ups which end poorly can be very painful and all you want to do is get rid of any reminder of that other person. I’m always fascinated about how people can go from loving someone so much to hating them. If this is considered a breakdown then most of the world has had a breakdown at some point!

The critiques people are choosing to level against her — that she is witch-like or similar to a piece of meat unfit for consumption — are troubling. Why these things? Out of all the aspects of her career or womanhood there may be for which to judge her — why these? I won’t be reading the Madonna comments anymore. I know its been said already but her hands are unbelievably awful looking. And I agree wholeheartedly, Ms Hudson is going through hard times…Madonna comparatively is not. Age has nothing to do with Meltdown. It is most common, when a person is going through, a marriage break-down. That, they say & do many crazy things. In Madonna’s case, she is a public figure. And, everything she says & does gets publized. No-one really cares about age.
What i think, most people are trying to say is. That, she doesn’t act her age when she is doing concerts. That, she parades around half-naked & acts like she is still in her prime. Her prime was many years ago. She was very famous & good looking women back then. Now, she is NOT. Her body is in good shape for her age. People, do admire that she keeps herself fit for her age. But, they can’t stand, her character. She stopped Guy, from having his career. By insisting that she go out & do her stuff. While, he then had to stay with the kids. Though, he still had his pub to keep an eye on. Then, there is the stupid Kabbalah cult she is involved in. Listening to everything they say. guy, embrassed it for her. He did not want to adopt David. As he didn’t know how it all would pan out. Madonna, insisted that is what she wanted to do. Made her kids go without tv, reading newspaper etc. Strict in the wrong areas. If Guy wanted her money, then he would have gone for her latest offer of 20mill. He wants the kids, to have as normal life as possible. I DO BELIEVE THE KIDS, ARE BEST WITH GUY. She is not being a responsible mother, by still wanting to do her career. WHEN SHE HAS MADE ENOUGH MONEY. WHAT DOES SHE WANT??? TO be more FAMOUSSSSS!!! She is totally tragic!! case. Needs help FAST. If she can’t get her own way. It’s meltdown. David should go with, Guy or back with his biological father? And, Rocco should be with Guy. And, Lola should go either with Guy or her real father Carlos. I think that A-Rod is an idiot! Madonna is OK to have sex with[safe sex] But not good enough to give up a marriage for, she’s old and been around with too many men.
