I’ve already seen some sites yelling about these photos of Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise in Pittsburgh – yelling because they didn’t like Suri’s little ladybug (ladybUGG?) costume. For why? She looks like a kid! She looks adorable. I’d rather see Suri dressed up in some funky kid costume than dressed up in a doll dress with kitten heels and lipstick, you know? She’s fine. And she looks weather-appropriate too.
Besides, if you’re going to yell at someone, can’t it just be Katie? What is going on with her this week? For several months, Katie has been taking great strides. Her hair has been looking Middleton-esque. Her makeup has been getting better and better. Her clothes fit and coordinate, and they’ve often been flattering and cute. And then, like a fug bolt of lightning, Katie tried to make oversized designer overalls “happen”. She tried to make them work by pairing them with some little suede high-heeled booties. The look was terrible. And now this outfit – not as bad as the overalls, but still not great. The jeans are dated and too tight, and the booties are still not working. Katie, darling, you are not Kate Bosworth. Not even The Bos could pull off this look.

Not those boots AGAIN???!!! She’s obviously not getting the message. And, hideous jeans with twisted seam – completely unflattering. As for the overalls – I have a friend who lives on a farm. She can wear them. Katie, no.

And I agree she is dressed appropriately. She’s a child in a cute outfit. I am loving the lady bug booties.
Now for the love of all things holy… please someone burn those beige booties of Katie’s. She has been in them for the last 6 months. And they have not gotten better with age.
It is amazing to me that Katie probably has never ending funds for clothes. And this is the best that she came up with.
She is such a pretty girl. Who sadly has a questionable sense of style.
Are those ribbons dangling from that sweatshirt? Poor girl. All that money, and still nothing to wear.
That child has her father’s intensity and intellect, (and crazy, maybe), and her mother’s unbridled sense of entitlement and princess-ery. And no strict rules, guidelines, or schedule. And an endless bank account.
I fear that she is going to be a nastly young woman and even worse as an adult. I hate to say that about a kid, but I sure don’t blame Suri – other parents would raise her better, I think. She is so beautiful.
I should add that I HOPE Suri comes out right, just scared for her a bit….

Suri’s 5 years old and she always knows exactly where the camera is and to look right at it. That’s sad.

Suri looks adorable in her ladybug outfit. Adults who are making nasty comments about her need to get a life. It’s ironic that ya’ll are criticizing a child’s personality when you don’t even know her; and yet you guys are the ones who are picking on a little kid. As far as we know, Suri has not done anything to hurt anyone. Perhaps you guys should focus on improving your own personalities instead of trying to find fault with Suri.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see “cute” and “adorable” when I look at these pictures of Suri, I see a kid who would eat your soul.
I’m crazy too, because that kid once again is without a coat. Everyone else bundled up and she has no coat. It was 45 degrees as a high the last few days in Pittsburgh.
Also, are those even jeggings? They look like elasticized granny mom jeans pulled way too high with no zipper. Fab with the puke booties.

Didn’t want to comment earlier on a child, but I’m with #24 Syko on that one. Look at the intense look in pic 2: “I’m Suri Cruise and DON’T look at me otherwise I’ll paralyze you with my Scientology wand!”
In the first pic, the man behind them coming out of the coffee shop, has a large bag of weed sticking out of his knapsack.
Suri’s outfit is cute, her attiude is not. Perhaps we should start calling Surilohan now.
There were photos of Suri smiling in her ladybug outfit on other sites. Even in the pics where she is not smiling, I still think she looks cute. Are you guys seriously judging a kid based on her facial expressions? If you had paps following you around, I’m sure they’d get some unflattering pics of you too.
@Tiffany, 45 may have been the low. It’s been in the low 60’s during the daytime in Pittsburgh.
It is so sad that a woman in her 30’s has absolutely no idea on how to dress to accentuate her best features.

Suri looks cute and im not going to judge a child based on pics but she has to be somewhat “different” and not in a good way, being raised in scientology. She has no choice though so i feel for her. I hope when older she isnt just “programmed” and breaks out of scientology – for her sanity.
At least she is dressed as a child for a change. So I will not complain. I can’t stand when she is dressed in heels and make-up in a dress that cost more than what I spend in a year for clothes.
I gave continual bitchface when I was her age and I didn’t have people following me around and taking pictures.
I just checked weather.com and over the weekend the high was 48 and 46 on Sunday. It was cold back here for just a couple days. It was only 45 here in Toronto and in Baltimore.
I keep track of all the cities I have recently lived in. We like to compare the weather to our current home-wherever that may be.
i swear to god, i was looking at pictures of Katie Holmes a couple weeks ago and she was wearing THESE SAME FRIGGIN GOD AWFUL BOOT and very very similar, ill-fitting jeans, with a twisted seam wrapping around the front of her calf. it.looks.bad.
she needs to throw those boots away. i honestly cant think of a “look” where those boots would be ok.
she has a habitual shoe/bootie problem.
i have been noticing this for the past few years. she always wears the ugliest shoes with the worst possible outfits. i don’t get it. i really don’t get it.
i watched (or maybe read??) an interview with her YEEEEEEARS ago where she said her least favorite body part was her legs – i’m assuming her calves. she was saying that no matter how much weight she loses, her legs always stay big. everyone at the time thought she was full of crap, but of course this was back when everyone was wearing bootcut jeans and flared jeans all the time, now i’m seeing what she means… it doesn’t matter how friggin skinny she gets, she always has sausage legs that get shoved into skinny jeans and ugly boots. poor girl.
Eh gads- Not again! I’ve been raging about these boots for months. She wears them ALL THE TIME! so fugly! Burn them already! bah!
