Several months ago, I talked about some recent (at the time) photos of Cindy Crawford, where her face looked especially jacked. Now, Cindy has admitted to using Botox and collagen injections in the past – she claims she did it to restore elasticity to her face. So, it’s not like the state of Cindy’s Botox-face is up for debate at this point. She has a Botox-face, this is a fact. So now the question becomes: does Cindy need to be doing this much to her face? Would she look better if she wasn’t so heavily “injected”? Back in May, I was horrified by the state of her, but then she showed up at the Cannes Film Festival (to support her friend and stalker George Clooney), and her face looked slightly better.
So these are new photos of Cindy in Russia today. In the closeups, you can definitely see where Cindy’s cheeks have been “filled”. But does she look better? I do think her face looks less jacked than earlier this year. I will say this, though – I think Cindy has done so much, one of her eyes has gone wonky, which happens to many celebrity women. I don’t know the medical reason for it.
By the way, the frequent complaint I hear when I call someone a Botox-face or a cat-face is that they have wrinkles, thus they’re somehow not using injections or Botox. Cindy has wrinkles. Madonna has wrinkles. Teri Hatcher has wrinkles. It’s not about “wrinkles” and whether or not Botox or collagen makes the wrinkles disappear completely. Botox freezes, collagen “fills” and both leave behind the unintended tell-tale signs of the work done.

There’s something odd about her hairline, seems very low, but other than that Cindy looks like Halle Berry, if she had short hair like Halle or Halle got a mole they’d look almost identical.

The first photo is very unflattering: wonk eye, cheeks too tight and teeth unnaturally white. She looks good in the rest.
Botox makes you look pretty when posing in certain angles but ugly when you try to emote joy or anger or any strong emotion with your face.

So, my mother gets quarterly botox injections for ACTUAL, MEDICAL purposes (there’s a looped blood vessel in her neck that puts pressure on a nerve and causes facial spasms — so they inject the muscles in her face to paralyze them a bit and keep her face from twitching).
And as she’s discovering, injections made at different sites on her face can take different amounts of time to reach full potency — then, likewise — different amounts of time to lose their effectiveness.
So I *SUSPECT* that’s what we’re seeing with the wonky eye — if she’s getting injected around the eyes, even injections from the same unit of botox can wear unevenly and have inconsistent effects on different parts of the face.
Short story: Cindy needs to lay off the injections or she’ll be battling wonk eye in a losing battle for a L-O-N-G time.

I saw her on another site…photos from Russia and my first thought was “what have you dont to your face!” I didn’t know that she admitted Botox and fillers. I think she’s done too much. Noticed the wonky eye and it just looks overdone.

I would not be surprise if Cindy has tiny little scars behind her ears from a mini lift.
When your face is what your career is based on, a girl has to keep it looking fresh.
So I rather see her do a mini lift versus putting fillers and botox in her face.

Botox does weird things to a person’s face. Case in point is Tyler Hunter (from the Bold and the Beautiful) who is hardly recognizable anymore. I hate seeing beautiful faces like Tyler’s and Cindy’s become jacked-up and fake looking. There’s nothing wrong with aging.

BOTOX causes the “wonky eye” known as ptosis. It will straighten out when it wears off a little…otherwise, she’s simply gorgeous!

Personally, I don’t think Botox makes people look younger. Botox just makes them look slightly off, which is at best distracting and at worst really unflattering.
In any case, I think Cindy would look better if she didn’t use Botox. Besides, it’s not rocket science — the best way to minimize wrinkles is to use sunscreen and not smoke.

About the wonky eye — I developed a wonky eye myself after I turned 40, and I’m not a botox user. I have no idea how it happened? I’m not saying that’s what’s going on with Cindy, but who knows…? It may really be nothing other than some weird natural thing happening. Or not. Whichever.

I think she looks a million times better with the fillers in. The fillers add volume to the face because the older you get you lose the volume and that makes you look older. She was starting to look gaunt in the face and this brought back her natural beauty.
I’m glad she admitted to botox and fillers since she sells skin care.

I think she is aging beautifully (with some help) and she looks as beautiful as ever.

You can definitely tell she’s had some tweaks, but she’s not at the “what the hell happened to her?!” point yet. She still looks nice but she needs to scale it back a bit.
As for her skincare line, I use and love the eye gel! Botox can’t/wont do it all so good skin is important!

I think she had an actual facelift about 7-8 yrs ago and the Botox on top that is making the eye strange.

I’m so distracted by her hair line that I didn’t notice her face so much. I had chemo a few years ago and lost my hair. I spent $2000 on a lace front wig which was was almost identical to my natural hair in color, texture and style. If you didn’t look too closely, you would never be able to tell. It fit just like this wig does along the forehead–something about the part line make it look fakey. I don’t think it looks bad, but I don’t think it’s her hair. Hopefully if it is a wig, it’s just for vanity and not because she’s suffering from any health issues.
As far as botox/face lifts goes, I think society is so harsh on women who are no longer young, especially those who were in the public eye because of their youth and beauty. I understand why Cindy might be compelled to get some work done, and she still looks beautiful, but I also think it is sometimes more attractive to just leave your face alone. If you’re going to get a face lift and botox, at least wait until you’re in your late 50′s because otherwise it can make you look really “different”.

@ Turtle Dove – I recently came across a blind item which was supposed to be about Cindy and George Clooney. Supposedly, her and the hubby have a somewhat open relationship. Her go to guy is Clooney.
