I’ve never heard of this British actor/ “entrepreneur”/ reality star Francis Boulle, but he gave some fabulously bitchy comments about his supposed ex girlfriend, Emma Watson, to Heat Magazine. Just to be clear, these comments make this douchey guy look bad, not Emma at all. (Although if she did actually date this guy it makes me seriously question her taste in men.) I did google “Francis Boulle Emma Watson” and it’s almost impossible to find any evidence that these two were dating. All the top results are for this story where Francis trashes Emma, and the only other tidbit I could find was this story where she was photographed in 2008 talking to Boulle at a party – along with two other guys. She later went out with a different guy she was seen with at that party and started dating some other rich guy a couple months later. So if she had anything going with Boulle beyond some flirtation at a party, there’s not much evidence of it and it doesn’t seem to be serious. According to Boulle he dumped Emma though, and it was because he didn’t want to be known just for being her boyfriend. As if he was ever known as that.
Emma Watson is probably glad she’s not dating actor Frances Boulle anymore after his thoughtless comments about their relationship.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson is at the top of everyone’s hot list right now — she’s in-demand as an actress and model, and we’re pretty sure every twenty-something guy out there wants to date her. Well, every guy except her ex-boyfriend.
“We had a bit of a thing a while back, but I have always been an ambitious person and I want to achieve my own notoriety for what I’ve done,” Made in Chelsea actor Francis Boulle told Heat magazine in their new issue. “That’s why I chose not to pursue it any longer, because I didn’t want to be the boyfriend of some child actress.”
Watson’s hardly “just a child actress.” Perhaps Boulle just came down with a case of the Foot-in-Mouth Disease going around Hollywood these days. However, he does have kind words for his one-time gal pal.
“We do share a lot of mutual friends and our paths cross from time to time. I actually really like Emma. She’s a really cool person,” he said. “She’s a very different person to who she is in the media. That’s what I liked about her — she’s very interesting.”
Watson is now dating actor Johnny Simmons – they met on the set of their new film The Perks Of Being A Wallflower — and she reportedly asked him to move in with her while she studies at Oxford University this year.

All the press for this guy’s “Made in Chelsea” reality show mentioned that he was “linked to Emma Watson.” He probably just called her a bunch of times and got shot down. I love how he calls her “some child actress” and then tries to backtrack by claiming she’s a “really cool person” and “interesting.” Emma really dodged a bullet with this one. Is he like the smarmy British version of The Situation? Or is a Spencer Pratt comparison more apt?

Yeah, he’s a complete douche on made in chelsea as well, supposedly an entrepeneur/ business man but they film him at his work all the time and so far all we’ve ever seen him do is pose for a portrait (to memorialise his great self, obviously) and desperately try to sleep with his Russian assistant. So pretty much just a fake ‘business’ his daddy bought him.
He looks and sounds like some dirtbag who just wants the association for press to me. Notice he never says anything that she could actually point to to say “he actually is completely wrong”

If they did go out, it reads like it was back in 2008 which would have made her 17 or 18, right? So yeah, she was a child actress back then. BFD. I don’t see how that’s such a horrible insult.
And she is SO overrated. The posters here practically wet themselves over her and I just don’t get it. Cute girl, popular movie franchise. If she hadn’t lucked out and gotten into the Potter movies, I doubt any of you would have a clue who she was or would think she was so amazingly “gorg”.
I am so over Emma and her smug little face and bitchy, diva attitude. I hate the job she did as Hermione and though I am a huge Potter fan, I am glad those movies are over.

No, we probably would not have ever heard of her if she hadn’t ‘lucked out’ and got into the Harry Potter franchise but guess what – she did and we have. I think this is what they would call her big break. I’m pretty sure if it weren’t for a big break we wouldn’t have heard of most actors and actresses nor would we say they were gorgeous, etc. We wouldn’t because we would never have seen them.
I have never even seen a Harry Potter movie so can’t comment on her acting abilities and maybe they suck but nonetheless her big break is Harry Potter. Period. Maybe she’ll make a name from herself away from that but its unlikely.
He does resemble Felton. I mean a more smarmy ginger version–but that sorta explains it…she had a bit of a Draco-thing back in the day.

To be fair to him, Emma did start out as a child actress. Plus he’s a rich kid, he might not be as famous as Emma but he’ll do fine without her.

She wasn’t cast as snow white because she’s an awful actress and can’t act to save her life. Kriste Stewart is not very good either but she gave good perfomances in into the wild and the Runaways. Emma can’t even act in a commercial she was dreadful in Ballet shoes and even her tiny role in my week with Marilyn is getting slammed by critics which means she can’t carry a movie. She has no edge , she is just….cute .

@Sea Well she can’t get worse than Kristen. I haven’t seen Runaways but I’ve seen fragments and there she was, frozen as usual. But I might be wrong. I have a soft spot in my heart for the Harry Potter franchise I guess.
