Before Steve Irwin died at the unlikely end of a stingray he was working on a nature show with his 8 year-old daughter, Bindi. Now Bindi is carrying on her father’s legacy by going through with the series without him. It will feature some pre-shot footage of Bindi and Steve together, and is titled “Bindi, The Jungle Girl.”
The show will air on Discovery Kid’s Network early next year:
Irwin will appear with Bindi in scenes filmed before his death, his manager, John Stainton, said in an interview on People magazine’s Web site.
“Some people think that I would be afraid of them, but I’m never ever afraid of an animal,” Bindi said in an interview Monday on ABC’s “Australian Story.”
“I just get excited and some that are dangerous I just think, `Oooh! What’s going to happen?’ and things like that.”
That’s sweet and hopefully the series will do well for little Bindi. She will be featured in an interview on Australian television this week, in which she will talk about losing her famous father. Her mother Terri was interviewed by Barbara Walters last month.

Isn’t it too much too soon? She’s a little girl, after all. I have a suspicion someone is capitalizing on a tragedy here and it’s not necessarily her mom.

I don’t agree, Bindi and Steve had these plans long before he died, as a matter of fact they had already filmed a few segments. I think they are just moving on with their lives, Bindi, happily following in her loving daddy’s footsteps. Good luck to her and her baby brother Bob.
Its so sad that people always look for the bad in others and assume the worst…. Why does there have to be someone taking advantage of Bindi and cashing in on Steve Irwin’s death? Its f**king unbelieveable that you would think that! And why cant people just leave Madge alone, she’s helping David Banda whatever way you look at it. None of you know all the details so just give her the benefit of the doubt for goodness sake and get off her back. Show a little positivity and support.

If you lived in the best place on earth.. Australia, you would know that all the things she has going on at the moment were already in place way before Steve died. He acutally died filming a segment for Bindi’s show! Find out the facts before you write this crap!!!!!
