If Star Magazine just had a video of Justin Bieber’s accuser Mariah Yeater smoking some weed it wouldn’t be a big deal. Only they have video of her smoking weed with a three year-old girl in the background looking at her. It’s not like Yeater is offering the tot a toke, but still it looks pretty bad, like the little girl is watching her closely. The video isn’t online, Star just claims to have viewed it and they show screenshots in the magazine. The little girl’s face is blurred but she looks to be about three to me and it’s very clear she’s taking everything in. Mariah is smoking a cross-shaped joint that’s burning on two ends. Is that a thing? It looks pretty complicated to roll. In the olden days we just did the plain joints and simple soda can bongs. Here’s some of Star’s report:
“We’re about to get high,” Mariah, 20, squeals at the beginning of the video. Then she and an unidentified male and female cohort light a cross-shaped joint, which is burned at three ends. “Burning weed, burning weed,” says Mariah on the video. And almost as shocking as the blatant drug use is the presence of a little girl sitting on the couch, watching her smoke.
While it’s not clear whether Mariah is pregnant in the video, another source close to her tells Star that she may have smoked marijuana once or twice while carrying Tristyn.

We still have not heard if Yeater has submitted the baby she claims is Bieber’s to a DNA test, but Justin Bieber has taken one. Yeater’s lawyer is insisting that Bieber take yet another test to make sure it’s really the 17 year-old pop star’s DNA. He’s just trying to delay the process.
Over Thanksgiving weekend, Yeater’s ex, the baby’s presumed father and a guy she’s claimed in the past is the baby’s father, was arrested for burglary and meth possession. Prior to that he was considering selling his story to several outlets, but the fact that he’s in jail has put a damper on his plans. So this chick’s ex is a meth addict. I’m wondering if she is too. I’m not saying there’s any comparison between pot and meth, but it’s not such a stretch to think that she’s into it if her ex is doing it. (Have you seen these terrifying Darren Aronofsky PSAs on meth?)

Im disgusted. If the story was just about her smoking pot with friends, then no big deal. Then its about her smoking pot in front of a baby, so now Im irritated, but not really mad. She fits the profile of being yoiung, stupid and trashy, smoking in front of a baby is nothing to her. And now her ex is arrested for meth possession?! Meth is just the absolute f#&@ing worst thing to do. If it was coke, Id prolly wouldn’t be so angry(Im jaded. It takes a lot to enrage me nowadays) But f#&@ing METH?!! There is just no f#&@ing way she didn’t know he was a meth head and not be one herself.

There is that same kind of joint in Banana Express. It’s supposed to get you super high. As for smoking in front of a 3 year old – that kid probably doesn’t know the difference between weed and a cig. So, if you’re ok with a 3 year old watching someone smoke a cigarette, what’s the difference between that and a joint other than the smell? Personally, people shouldn’t smoke ANYTHING around little kids. Not good for their lungs.

HA! I glanced at the photo first before I read the headline, and for a second thought this story was about Mischa Barton!
It IS unseemly to smoke pot around small children. (I wouldn’t smoke cigarettes around them if I was a smoker, either.) For one thing, it’s illegal, and eventually the kid will get older and figure out that this was so, and what kind of example did you set? That it’s okay to break the law?
Even if it’s medical marijuana or you live where small amounts are decriminalized, it’s still unseemly, because it’s a mind-altering drug. Most people don’t drink to the point they’re impaired or get high on whatever around kids because they know it’s just not right to have the kids around that. Even people I know who had drug habits would never have done that in front of children.

Yeater’s legal team is upset because Justin Bieber took the DNA without telling them/agreeing on the procedures. They want to make sure that the test is properly supervised and carried out under the right circumstances to make sure that the results aren’t fake.
I still say that’s his kid.

Justin Bieber took the test at a very reputable lab that handles evidence for criminal cases WHILE being filmed by the security camera.
Please excuse me if I think that a lab I trust to handle evidence that could send people to jail for the rest of their lives and/or result in their death sentence is also good enough to handle evidence for a paternity case.
As for whether or not the child is Bieber’s. Let Yeater test her child’s DNA against Bieber’s. The only reason Yeater’s lawyer is pulling this “I need to be there” crap is to give himself room to prolong the “case” and charge more fees when the test returns and the baby is proven not to be Bieber’s.

Guys, take notice – THIS is why you don’t go sticking it in whatever comes along, even with protection. Because even if you care enough and can manage to wrest away custody at birth, she still can do all kinds of things to harm your baby while it’s still in the womb.

As a mother, ex-medical marijuana patient, and an ex-cig smoker, I do NOT believe in smoking anything around children or letting any of my heavy smoking relatives near my children doing so.
If they want to grow up and be teenagers who sit in a smoked out garage or pub, that’s their health and their choice. However, as a parent, I don’t think I should predispose my young children (who don’t have the choice) to lung disease, cancer, and burning out their sense of smell. Cigarettes and pot smell very strongly on people who don’t smoke. Now that I don’t smoke, I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes.
If people don’t care about smoking around kids no matter what the material is, that’s their choice. They choose to have other people look down at them and think they are trash. I’m just fine with that.
This girl is white trash and so are people who smoke around small children (especially with the car windows up.) If you can spend the money to smoke, buy a vaporizer which has far less “Second-hand” escape and get with science to get “higher.” Half ass attempts to be “cool” like this are just disappointing.

Agreed. And depending on what exactly (could be adulterated with other substances who knows) couldn’t that little girl get a bit high herself if she breathes enough of it in? She’s little and it wouldn’t take much. I have no problem with legalizing weed but as it stands right now, she probably got that on the streets and she clearly isn’t too bright to begin with. There could be anything in that weed.

Nope, second-hand high cannot happen (which is why hotboxing is stupid). But the non-THC elements (e.g. the bad things that cause lung cancer) can be inhaled second-hand just as they can with cigarettes.
