These are new photos of Blake Lively at two events yesterday – one with Mayor Bloomberg of NYC, who made some kind of mayoral proclamation for Gossip Girl’s 100th episode. I guess they get special attention because Gossip Girl is one of the few shows set in NYC that actually shoots in the city? Probably. And plus, His Honor just loves Gossip Girl. There are also photos of Blake (and Chloe Moretz) at the launch of Jason Wu’s line for Target. It seems like kind of a budget, down-market event for Blake, but I’m guessing she did as a favor to Jason Wu, whom she wants to develop a relationship with. I’m not really loving Blake’s Jason Wu outfit, though – it doesn’t do anything for her, or maybe I’m just not used to seeing her T&A so covered up. Who are you, Blake?
Meanwhile, the tabloids managed to find another angle on the boringness that is Blake and Ryan Reynolds. According to In Touch Weekly, Blake is totes jealous of Ryan’s continuing relationship with Scarlett Johansson:
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had their first big fight after she put her foot down over his still-close relationship with ex-wife Scarlett Johansson. Although Blake’s rep denies the fight, “Ryan said Scarlett will always be a part of his life no matter what,” says an insider, adding Ryan accused Blake of being insecure.
“She stormed out, furious!” the source claims.
After Ryan’s take-it-or-leave-it stance, Blake has been trying to set up a dinner with ex Leonardo DiCaprio out of revenge.

One, I don’t even think Ryan and ScarJo are even that close any more. I mean, they weren’t even that close when they were married, why start now? Two, Blake really doesn’t seem like the jealous type. She doesn’t seem like the girl who will “demand” that her boyfriend stop spending time with someone. Three, don’t even give me BLEO hope. I miss Bleo. Bleo is never going to happen again, is it?

whoever thinks this woman looks “aged” needs some therapy, because the media has done a terrible number on your sense of aging, beauty and nature. it’s like the only choice you leave for women is to get botox or commit suicide when they are no longer wrinkle-free.
In my OWN opinion she does look older for 24 years old in comparison to the other actress who were born in 1987 like Evan Rachel Woods,Ellen Page, or Rosie Huntington W.

There was an interview in the London Times (sadly, behind a firewall) where she talks about honing her craft by performing in really adult, harsh bars in NYC.
Of course, in the timeline she gives, she would have had to have been about 14 years old at the time.
She tried to cover up by saying that her mother accompanied her and persuaded the bouncers to let a minor in to perform. At a club. Where alcohol is served.
What would make more sense is that she was (at least) 18 at that time, and she’s simply lying about her age.
She looks older, anyway.

It has nothing to do with the media, just simply that some people don’t age as well as others – Blake being one who is ageing faster than her peers – this is not news and nothing new it has always happened. Its to do with genes and lifestyle, I think you are overreacting slightly.
The point is that most 24 year olds don’t have wrinkles and don’t look years older, and I personally disagree with botox etc and find it disturbing that young teenegers and 20 year olds, let alone any woman, are even contemplating botox.

That is not a good skirt unless you are super skinny. And even then, meh. For average to larger sized women, drawing they outwards/making the hips look larger is not a great thing. Looks ok on her I guess but she is modeling an outfit to be sold at Target, right?
Weirdly, the outfit she is wearing is definitely not Jason Wu for Target- the trench coat she had on top is. But the top and skirt must be from the regular Jason Wu line.

I have major Bleo nostalgia right now.
Never thought BLEO would last. Leo is a known womanizer. He’s like a younger version of George Clooney, only he doesn’t bring his pieces to premieres and award shows. Except for Giselle, I remember them going to the Globes or Oscars. He gets women left and right without commiting to any of them. Why fix it if it ain’t broke, is probably his logic.

You can’t buy into Lainey’s profile of these folks…she called folks like Cameron D. & Kate Hudson man eaters when I think the evidence has shown them to be needy and insecure, sometimes desperate IMO. Blake could be jealous, in fact most anyone can be to a degree. So, I’m not so sure the assesment that she has “game” is right; she very well may have been dumped by Leo or left because he wouldn’t take it to the next level and then desperately ran to Ryan. No, I totally agree! Some pictures I see if her and I think she looks really pretty. Then there are other pictures I’m like…. Yikes. Overall, I would say she is attractive. I mean, she is tall, blonde and has big (fake) boobs. I would kill to have her body… Even if some of it is store bought.
It’s reassuring to come to celebitchy sometimes really since you can always count on the catty women here projecting their insecurities on starlets. Blake looks absolutely fine, if a little too tan which I guess doesn’t photograph well.

What’s the alternative? Kim Kardashian-freakish unlined waxy face is not attractive (to me at least). I wish people would realize that smile lines are due to smiling a lot. It’s ok to have them, ladies.

Ryan and Scarjo do hang out. They went to the Radiohead concert together last year.
It almost looked like a stringing-along-the-ex situation, after seeing them together a couple times late last year. I think deep down Ryan still has feelings for her that won’t go away easily.

i didn’t know her age, but i find her older looking also, it’s like she’s been around the block a few times, truth, no axe to grind, i don’t even know her work, i keep seeing her pop up on red carpets, leo, etc.

I think the dress would look great without the peplum attached to the skirt. She does look older for her 24 yrs and isn’t a beautiful girl. She has more of the plain girl next door look. Her hair looks straggly…needs a trim. God, it must be hard for celebrities to always have to hear our comments about them but then again they do have money.
