I know many of you have probably seen this already, but I just couldn’t help myself. This is the official concert poster for Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way Ball” tour. Seriously, this is the poster. This is how Gaga presents herself. And if the poster is any indication, this is how her concert will feel too. Like your high school’s sponsored haunted house. Moms peeled grapes and you have to stick your hands in the bowl to feel the “eyeballs”. Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” is playing in the background. For Lady Gaga, every day is Halloween. Anyway, Gaga is currently confirming concert dates, so if you’re interested, just go to her Twitter to see if she’s coming to play near you.
Additionally, just before the Super Bowl, Gaga did a photo shoot with Terry Richardson – I’m including the football-themed photos here. Actually, it’s just one photo (Gaga was pro-Giants), and one photo of Gaga on a motorcycle. Meh.
Gaga is expected to perform at the Grammys this Sunday – there’s actually a report that she’ll be opening AND closing the ceremony, which… I’m not sure I believe. Most Grammy predictors (seriously, people predict the Grammys?) say Gaga and Beyonce are both going to lose big to Adele. Which I’m sure will cause another nasty kafuffle amongst the anti-Adele monsters. Hopefully, if the monsters go after Adele again, Gaga will actually practice what she preaches and shut it down.

Adele for the win! That poster…. Yikes! Hands down, Adele owned this year. And I don’t understand why the Grammy Commitee are so focused on excluding rock music for the mainstream awards, like best album/record/single of the year. There are other bands than the Foo Fighters, ya know. Just sayin’… The Strokes haven’t even been nominated once. Nuff’ said.
Also, I’ve been reading on some other sites and people are saying that Beyonce got snubbed. She was nominated for two awards. I would hardly called that snubbed. Not every Grammy Award’s have to revolve around Beyonce…

That IS a pretty weird poster. Considering Gaga must have the best people in the business working on shit like this.. I don’t get it.. I don’t like her head above the castle. It does look very amateur. WHY GAGA!?? Although I don’t think this is an indicator of how good/bad the show itself will be. Gaga is a brilliant singer and performer and I’m pretty sure the show will be spectacular 🙂

That bothered me too, for all her good stuff with the anti-bullying campaign, she never uttered a peep about her “monsters” attacking Adele for…what was it for? Winning something Gaga didn’t, as if Adele had any control over that to begin with. Lame.

I’m going with budget Rocky horror picture show and Young Frankenstein; I’m no fan but I agree shalibali her music is repititive and i don’t think she’s gaining any new fans. I’m going to conjecture she’ll be gone in 3-5 years. She has some talent, but she’s not the Mozart of dance pop as her little monsters believe.

If Madonna is supposed to be desperate since 2001 than Gaga is desperate NOW. Her BTW-album is shite, her coffeetable book while apparently more intresting than Madonna’s was on discount only a few days after release, her predicted epic loss at the Grammy’s etcetera…She flew too high too soon and started believing her own hype.

I am a gaga fan and this whole reinvention has just been budget and cheap looking. I remember when the cover art for BTW was released, I thought it was a joke because it looked like bad fanart. I don’t know what she did, but whoever was working for her during the fame, she needs to get on her hands and knees and beg those people to start working for her again.
