Lindsay Lohan claims she doesn’t crack-party: “That’s not my thing anymore”

You might look at the header photo and think, “It‘s sad that the Today show has to resort to doing interviews with 40-year-old hookers. It‘s morning television, after all.” And then you understand – this is Lindsay Lohan, with her t-ts out, letting her skirt ride up, staring out from underneath that hideous white-blonde wig. Yesterday, we discussed the rumor that Lindsay Lohan was going to do a “no holds barred” interview with Today’s Matt Lauer. Well, it’s already gone down – Today released this photo plus a partial transcript of this mess, with the actual interview to air on Thursday, tomorrow. Here’s what Today is shilling:

In an exclusive interview set to air on TODAY Thursday morning, Lindsay Lohan tells Matt Lauer that she is “clean and sober” and she wants “to continue to move forward and in the right direction.”

The actress, who will host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, also told Lauer, “I still need to go through the process of proving myself.”

Lohan, 25, is one court appearance away from putting her legal troubles from a 2007 drunken driving case behind her. Lauer asked her if, when they spoke last, the actress was in denial.

“Definitely,” Lohan said. “And I think it was — it’s a scary thing to have to kind of express to people … I wasn’t as comfortable with myself then. I think it was a fear factor that I had about what was really going on. And, you know, I had to get that wakeup call.”

Lohan also told Lauer that the temptation of night life and parties is something she’s avoiding.

“That’s not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.”

It may be that change in lifestyle, or at the least the perception that there has been a change, that will help the actress get back to work.

“Do you think people have gotten back, or can get back to the point where they trust you?” Lauer asked. “In other words, professional people? You know, if they say to you, ‘Come host ‘Saturday Night Live’,’ that’s a big commitment. And do you think the producers and directors of movies and television projects are going to get back to the part where they can go, ‘You know what? Yeah, we can count on Lindsay. We can bank on her?’”

“I think that that’s gonna take — I think that takes time,” Lohan said. “And I think that it’s actions. Because people can say things all they want, but I think I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with ‘SNL,’ being on time, being, you know, keeping my — can’t say the word — but stuff together.”

Lohan offers details on reports that she’s set to play Elizabeth Taylor in her next project.

“We’re in the middle of casting and figuring — we start production soon,” Lohan said. “I’ve been doing tons of research. But I’ve always kind of researched her. She’s always been a fascinating woman to me. So I’m really honored. And I will not let anyone down, especially myself.”

Asked about that need to qualify her commitment, Lohan says she understands how it might be scary for people to invest in her.

“I don’t want people to have that reason to be scared anymore. So being able to have this opportunity with ‘SNL’ and the film, I’m gonna do what I’m supposed to do, and enjoy doing it, and do it as best as I can.”

[From Today]

OMG. BITCH PLEASE. Same crack lies, same crack hustle, different g–damn day. “I had to get that wakeup call” – which wakeup call? Which trip to rehab? Which arrest? Which jail sentence? There hasn’t been ONE wakeup call. There is only a series of crack shenanigans which never, EVER serve as a “wakeup call” to this dumb crackhead.

But the most ridiculous thing is – “That’s not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.” Says the girl living at the Chateau Marmont. Says the girl who gets blitzed and takes off her clothes for Terry Richardson every week. Says the girl who went out partying with her mother AFTER her court date last week. Says the girl who started throwing drinks AND punches during last fall‘s NY Fashion Week. And what’s worse is that she thinks it’s working. She thinks we’re buying it. THIS is why I’ll never say “Oh, poor Lindsay.” She’s a liar, a user, and a terrible person. She’s a violent sociopath.

Crack liar. I don’t know how Matt Lauer kept a straight face…he’s a better actor than she is.
Just saw a clip on Today Show…she said she’s been sober for a while….bitch please!

    • Stellax2 says:

Usually those who are actually in recovery can name exactly how many days that they’ve been sober. She probably didn’t do anything before the interview and that makes her sober, yeesh. I saw the snippet on the Today Show. I felt like you foolish, lying young girl (kept it clean :)
The whole no holds barred interview? It look like Lauer wasn’t questioning anything she said such as in well Lindsay here are photographs of you leaving such and such. He’s softballing her.
She looks awful-she needs to get rid of the hair and not have her boobs hanging out.

  2. the original bellaluna says:

    Liar, liar, crotch on fire.

Only a drunkard/druggie would think a Yeti-hair-accessorized coat looks GOOD. Particularly when the Yeti hair is in better condition than her own.

    • flourpot says:

I may be taking my rep in my hands here but I like that coat. On her it looks dirty and haggard. On someone else, like ME or you know, perhaps Demi or Julia Roberts or … someone with a bit of presence.. they could pull that off.

      It’s funky.

  3. Bite me says:

Hmmm why couldn’t they do a live interview

  4. Incredulous says:

I can believe she felt uncomfortable (because no-one wanted to be near her).

  5. the original bellaluna says:

Kaiser, The Cracken lives at the Chateau. Wake-up calls are de rigueur at hotels, silly!

(She DOES know that there are pix of her being “out” from last week, right? I mean, she’s the one alerting the papps to her every move, so…)

  6. Quinn says:

No doubt…that’s DEFINITELY the face of someone getting plenty of rest and mineral water!!!

  7. dorothy says:

Ummm, I don’t think people are scared, just uninterested Lindsay.

  8. the original bellaluna says:

And why is there no mention of the interview that was SUPPOSED to happen at “her” condo, when she flipped and had Matt thrown out?

  9. bea says:

Is there smoke coming out of her handbag in the last photo?

Must have jammed her pipe in there right before she left.

  10. Eleonor says:

    She does filler injections party.

  11. Innocent says:

    Love this interview
So proud of her and her fans believe in her.

  12. Cathy says:

ROFFLMAO….what a laugh. Yeah, sure, we all believe you crack goddess.

  13. NeNe says:

    Okay, now…

Raise of hands, how many people think she is F.O.S????? I know I do. I would have cracked (no pun intended) up, if I were the person interviewing her, because it is clear that every word out of her mouth is a bold faced lie!!

I cannot understand why she is still relevant? Why would anybody want to interview her. In my opinion, she is a worthless P.O.S.

  14. mia girl says:

Same old bs coming from this girl.

I feel like we are all living in a Cracken Groundhog’s Day.

  15. Cleveland Girl says:

I just wish someone would confront her about her stupid hair!!!! What is up with that??? I mean it is not stylish in any sense, it looks awful, and it ages her. I wonder if she pulled a Brittney and shaved her head to avoid drug testing??

  16. Jackie says:

reminds me of the whitney houston interview with diane sawyer. filled with denial and lies that are obvious to everybody, except them.

  17. Boo says:

Seriously, what pisses me off isn’t that she lies with every smoky breath she takes–she has always been a liar and been caught in more lies than anyone can count. What pisses me off is that the press is suddenly on this “Lindsay is making a comeback! Lindsay is clean and sober!” as if they all believe this crackshit she’s pushing. Other than a few key bloggers (MichaelK from DListed being one, and thank God for him), everyone is kissing her ass!

  18. di elepha beth says:

I watched Mean Girls last night for some odd reason.
There’s really no accounting the distance she has traveled! It’s like I can’t believe what I was seeing. It’s a throwback, made me all nostalgic and stuff. And she’s really not half bad actress actually.

Britney cleaned up okay. but then, I heard somewhere that her parents played an active role in turning her around.
Crazy Angie cleaned up rather okay. but then she allegedly has the UN and a horde of other people to help be the catalyst.
lots of bad people clean up real good (see all those sob/empowering stories on Oprah for example), but they do have some strong guiding figure to help them make the about turn.

I hope Lindsay finds that person too. Could be anyone. And she’s still young. So not all hope is lost.

I really, really hope that she can pull herself together and sort herself out. Hopefully the abovementioned wakeup call is really THE wakeup call.

Interview my ass. I’ve seen pics here, not two weeks agp, where she’s so F’d up she wasn’t sure where she was. She’s just gonna lie about everything, what about Fashion Week? She throwed down pretty good then, and I don’t believe that was “months” ago…..she’s a lying crack-ho. Stupid Fire-crotch, she looks like dammit sittin’ across from Matt, Bitch still needs a good scrubbin’ IMO.

  20. Zozo says:

Wow, I actually think she’s been doing the best she’s done in years. I always held out hope that she would turn things around, and I’ve (obviously) been disappointed numerous times, but I really do think she’s been making great strides. She’s doing all her probation work, going to therapy and she actually has two credible projects coming up! This behaviour from Lindsay is astounding! I think if she can pull this off she will be on her way to a comeback. Of course she needs lots of improvement but I wish her well, it is no easy task to get over the problems that she faces. I feel especially sorry for her due to the family she has been subjected to, clearly she has learned a lot of this behaviour from her own mother and father, let alone being a young impressionable star in Hollywood. The lies, the using, everything is just a result from her being a drug addict, and I sincerely wish her well.

  21. Mich says:

Playboy, December 2011: “My stubbornness at 18 and 19 years old got in the way,” she told Playboy. “During the past five years, I’ve learned that time flies faster than you think, and because you only live once, you have to learn from your mistakes, live your dreams and be accountable.”

Some Australian talk show, May 2011: As for her recent run-ins with the law, Lilo adds: “I had to grow up and be accountable.” So what has the actress been doing when she’s not in court or on a movie set? Linds tells the hosts, “I do cook a lot … I paint, I write. I watch a lot of TV.”

E!, May 2011: “”I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career. I support the judge’s decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation,” Lohan says.

Jay Leno, April 2011: “But I’m a big girl and I’m going to do what I’m told to do and that’s what I’m going to do to continue on with working in my life. I’m taking responsibility.”

Vanity Fair, August 2010: “I don’t care what anyone says. I know that I’m a damn good actress. … And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible—but that’s what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes.”

On her Myspace, December 2008: “I think that people go through a lot in life. And the things that we go through simply just make us stronger in the long run. If we actually take what it is we have learned from our mistakes and teach ourselves what NOT to do in the future.”

  22. Marianne says:

I just can’t believe her because she pulls that “Im a changed person, and I’m trying to prove myself again” schtick ALL THE TIME. It’s like the boy who cried wolf.

If I were in her shoes…and I honestly wanted to make a comeback. I would have quietly disappeared for awhile, while working on getting myself clean. I would have then done a movie without making a big deal about it and wow everyone when it comes out. And if people questioned where I had been for the past year. I would smile and say that I had been working on me and getting sober, and that I had been staying away from the whole “Hollywood” scene. It would look a lot more believable. I’m sure it would still take some time to convince more people…but if you followed the same formula…I think it would be easy to do.

    • duncecap says:

She thinks she’s so smooth and that we’re idiots to believe the same cr@p again and again. I have no hopes of the SNL stint being as open and daring as she claims its gonna be if the Today interview was so soft-hitting.

She has no remorse or awareness. And she loves the spotlight too much to go away ever. When the paps are snapping pics of her double chin she still loves it.

  23. Juror#8 says:

Stop comparing her to a 40-year-old. It makes us normal looking 40-year-olds look bad!

  24. Medusa says:

She is not a sociopath. I’ve spent years studying the subject and speaking with actual sociopaths.

She’s just an addict. And a narcissist.

Addiction just by itself turns people into narcissists.

  25. boo says:

Gawd! Why Lindsay? Why do you persist in doing interviews and lying, you know its going to bite you on the ass. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. See Lohan lie, see Lohan say she has work and that she has changed. Rinse, repeat.

  26. duncecap says:

Does she realize all her interviews are completely interchangeable?

She seemed genuinely caught off guard by the Whitney Houston death comparison, but other than that all the same rehearsed answers.

  27. anytime says:

i agree kaiser, with every single word in this post. she is a violent narcissistic sociopath who doesn’t care whom she hurts to get her way-and frankly this is why i won’t mourn, and i won’t pretend to mourn if she o.d.’s. not wishing her to o.d. at all, but if it happens, i won’t say omg genius actress passed away so tragically young and all that b.s. because you know that 1.)she had to many 2nd chances thrown her way, when the average joe would have been doing time for far long and far sooner before 2.)she’s a thief, liar, racist, showing no remorse, respecting nobody else’s rules, she even hit a baby stroller, not giving a damn if the baby would be hurt or worse! 3.) she’s not a talent, not a genius like amy or whitney, let’s be real. some people hold on to their memories of mean girls when she wasn’t even good… even back then. she’s just nasty inside and out. i hope nobody will pretend to mourn if she were to pass. much better people than her passed away tragically young and they’re not properly mourned enough.
