Is Madonna considering a marriage proposal from her boy-toy Brahim Zaibat?

All of this time, I’ve never really formed an opinion on Madonna’s boy-toy, Brahim Zaibat. Really, though, I tend to forget that Madonna actually has a boyfriend. Brahim keeps quiet for the most part, although Madge has let him speak a few times recently, and let’s just say that he’s not really lightning in a bottle. He’s cute. He has a good body. He’s young. That’s why Madge keeps him around. It also seems like Brahim is close with Madonna’s children – perhaps as a like-minded playmate/babysitter. Who knows? Anyway, The Mail reports that Brahim has proposed to Madge, and that she did NOT turn him down flat. She’s actually considering him?

She once said she would rather be run over by a train than get married again – but now Madonna is considering a proposal from her toyboy lover. The 53-year-old singer is ‘making up her mind’ after dancer Brahim Zaibat popped the question at a Kabbalah centre in New York three weeks ago. Twice-married Madonna, who kicks off a new world tour in May, has told 24-year-old Brahim that she needs more time to think about his proposal.

A source says: ‘Brahim asked Madonna to marry him at the centre a few weeks ago, but Madonna hasn’t given him an answer yet. She doesn’t want to rush into anything. She is very happy with Brahim, although her friends are not sure she is ready for marriage again. That said, Madonna has a real fear of being on her own. It’s a major issue for her, and she loves having a man in her life who is young and makes her feel young.’

It was Madonna’s messy divorce from film director Guy Ritchie in 2008 after eight years of marriage that provoked her ‘never again’ comment, as she declared: ‘I think I’d rather get run over by a train.’

But during a recent appearance on Graham Norton’s BBC chat show, she appeared to have had a change of heart. ‘Every girl wants to be swept off her feet by a knight in shining armour,’ she said. ‘Even if we are sophisticated, educated, intelligent, evolved human beings, we like to think in the back of our minds that Mr Right is going to sweep us off our feet and take us into the sunset, and we’re going to live happily ever after.’

Her relationship with Brahim became serious when he took her to meet his 45-year-old mother Patricia Vidal, a strict Muslim who loves in France. Ms Vidal said of the meeting: ‘My mouth fell open when I realised that my son was Madonna’s new boyfriend. I’m still trying to come to terms with it.’

Quite apart from concerns about the 29-year-age gap, there is said to be tension between Brahim and his mother over his frequent visits to meetings of Kabbalah, which is a sect of the Jewish faith.

[From The Mail]

Yeah, I’ve got to wonder how the religious stuff plays out at home. When Brahim says anything about anything, though, I’ve got to think that Madonna just tells him to STFU. Maybe I’m not being fair, though. Madonna is so weird these days, and she really will do anything to look young, to act young, to BE young. So maybe Brahim is the answer.

    Bullshit. That is all.

‘Even if we are sophisticated, educated, intelligent, evolved human beings…’
Oh, Madonna, you’re opinion of yourself is almost as big as your biceps.

  4. mew says:

    Good for him..

  5. The Truth Fairy says:

He is on the same level as Casper Smart IMO.

  6. Marjalane says:

Oddly enough, this guy doesn’t make me gag and wince at their realtionship the way Casper the frienly JLo boytoy does. I kind of feel sorry for anyone trapped in Madge’s vag. (sorry, I couldn’t resist)

  7. C&M says:

She is absolutely ridiculous. Her daughter should be embarrassed.

  8. JoJo says:

What a ridiculously stupid shallow bitch. The thing that should make her feel young is knowing that she doesn’t NEED anyone and she should be happy with herself as she is. Obviously, she is not if she thinks she has to have these boy toys all the time to pretend she’s not just another old hag whose time is about over. Yet another vapid bimbo living in her own little small mind. Just goes to prove that all the money in the world doesn’t buy you happiness. Such a pity.

    • TruthTella says:

Wow… calm down… Ever think that what Madonna wants in order to be happy is to date young guys? Just because it’s what YOU would do doesn’t make it wrong. Everybody lives once and Madonna can do what she liked to make herself happy, Brahim is free to walk away at any point he isn’t chained to her bedroom wall.

Old rich person with a nasty personality and an ego the size of the entire galaxy has to pay a broke, young pretty thing for “love”. Nothing new here. It’s been happening for thousands of years.

I don’t understand why people criticize Madonna so much for being an egocentric harpy (who cares? There’s plenty of them in the world, and most of them haven’t achieved anything of significance), but no one mentions the fact that she has, somehow, managed to become a legend having no talent whatsoever…

Apparently, being an old, self-centered woman who pays gigolos = bad. Having no talent and relying on scandals to build a successful career = super original and amazing.

    • Minty says:

Well, Madonna became famous and very rich because she is ambitious and completely ruthless. It certainly wasn’t because of artistic talent. People bought into her phony image as society’s feminist rebel because they didn’t look behind the facade. Unlike someone with a developed conscience and genuine empathy, Madonna habitually used people left and right in her climb to fame.

As a former fan (back when I was an impressionable teen), I used to regularly read stories about her. This con woman slept with anyone in the entertainment industry who could help her career. She once offered to sleep with the chief of production to get cast in Desperately Seeking Susan. The producer, a married woman, wisely turned her down. Madonna got the part anyway, but it shows you how eager she was to play the casting couch even when it wasn’t forced on her. She once said that losing her virginity was a career move.

From the start, she didn’t properly credit other people when they collaborated with her. She pretended the ideas were all hers. And fans bought the bullshit she was selling. Once she became successful enough, she hired the best songwriters, album producers, video directors, choreographers, dancers, and costume and stage designers that money could buy. They did all the creative hard work while she raked in most of the profits.

She became powerful and blatantly plagiarized from lesser-known artists. There were copyright lawsuits, but she was protected by her team of lawyers, publicists, and Warner Music Group, because they profited from her success. Many in the press kissed her ass since her manufactured controversy sold tabloid copies.

I’ve read tales where some talented unknown designer or musician showed their work to Madonna in the hope of collaborating, or at least getting their foot in the door. She turned them down but later used their ideas in her work. Without their permission, of course.

She didn’t start trends. She witnessed what was popular at the time and incorporated it into whatever persona she was pushing. She is proof positive that this crazy world regularly rewards the greedy, manipulative non-talents over those who are talented but not ruthless enough.

Andrew Carnegie lied, cheated, and stole to become one of the wealthiest men of his time. Later in life, he had a change of heart and became an important philanthropist. I can’t imagine Madonna turning a new leaf. I can see her as the leader of a cult.

      • Pont Neuf says:

I have to say, this is the best assessment I’ve ever read on Madonna, both as a public character and a private person. Madonna has never had any talent whatsoever – how else could anyone justify her success, if not for her avarice and desire to achieve her goals at any cost?

Thanks for your reply, Minty. It’s been very interesting (especially because you have shared some things I didn’t know about her, such as the ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ episode).

Wow! She truly is a nasty piece of work.

      • ol cranky says:

Madonna blew Jelly Bean Benitez and he made her a star as we often see great producers do with performers with very little musical talent. everything else she’s achieved comes from her greatest talent: marketing. In that department, she is an absolute genius to the point she has changed the entire entertainment industry with the introduction of the famewhore

      • Minty says:

        @Pont Neuf:
Thank you for the kind words. You can imagine the disillusionment I felt when I finally wised up and learned what a copycat hack Madonna really is. I was about 22 when I finally took the blinders off. I’m glad I never spent any money on her overpriced concerts.

There is a website called The Anti Madonna Discussion Board. I learned some new things about her when I visited that site. Sure, they are completely biased against her, but they back up their opinions with published research.

      • Minty says:

        @ol cranky:
Right you are. She slept with Benitez to get more leverage in the music industry. She slept with musician/songwriter Stephen Bray, who wrote many of her 80s hits. An interview with the talented Nile Rodgers (producer of her Like A Virgin album) suggests that she slept with him, too.

I suspect she dated Warren Beatty to get more influence in films. After all, he was a top leading man at the time. She probably got pointers on how to direct when she was married to Guy Ritchie.

I agree with you: her talent is in shameless self-promotion. Everything this woman does is calculated and designed to get her publicity. Her past marketing ploy was to routinely adopt different fake personas and generate controversy. Even her recent charity work is done in front of cameras to get favorable public opinion.

Just like Tom Cruise, she’s the poster child for a cult that indulges her because of the “legitimacy” she brings to them, as well as more celebrity followers. She really is the most successful famewhore.

      • dilettante says:

Hey, lay off Andrew Carnegie! He and Madonna have NOTHING in common — should not be mentioned in the same breath.

      • Carolyn says:

Oh you’ve just destroyed my view of Madonna 🙁 I was an 80’s teen and grew up with her music. It’s true that no-one gets to be that successful without stepping on a lotta people on the way up. Her music is still very good to dance to though. Methninks she and toyboy #25 won’t get married. She’s done with that.

  10. Kimbob says:

Just LOOK at that dude. He’s gross looking to me. I’m not jealous of Madonna. Let her marry that dude. She’s getting what she PAYS FOR.

She’s really become a complete mockery of herself. Ugh, gross. I gotta go take a shower now.

    • Ange says:

ITA, I have no idea what his selling point is. Dude doesn’t even have a hot body.

This whole story reminds me of the Chappelle’s Show episode where he gets Oprah pregnant lol.

  11. HadleyB says:

So she needs someone to feel young, be young? I love how she thinks only of herself..this poor guy is losing his youth while she sucks it out him .. he will never get it back no matter how much money she throws at him and she got her fun while she was young, does she ever think of that? I don’t recall her banging some old 55 year old dude when she was 24.

This makes me hate her even more, yeah yeah I know he gets money, blah blah but she is taking the time from his life he will never get back.. you can’t relive your early 20’s in your 30’s .. it’s not the same even if when you try. And making everyone convert to HER religion is selfish and rude.

  12. dahlia noir says:

    pleaaaase no prenup 😀

  13. Dee Cee says:

This possible engagement announcement is hilarious.. who really cares if she says yes or no.. for she is famous for deliberate bad choices and having impossible times dealing with grown up males. That any foolish young man whom she took into her life lavishes her time and money on wants to marry her would be possible? Well duh?

  14. Ann says:

Eh. Just go ahead banging him; he’s a cutie. When he gets an attitude, purchase a new young hot thing.

  15. TruthTella says:

He’s really cute! he looks like a sweet guy lol Madonna isn’t a fool, even if she did marry him she’d have an iron clad pre nup and it’d e tied in to promote something of other. I can’t hate one her, they both get what they want out of this relationship so what’s the problem?

  16. Jayna says:

LOL. Such bullshit. She has admitted to being in love. A question was asked about marriage ever again, and she said some day maybe she could see herself married again. Madonna won’t be rushing tommarry anyone since one of her new songs is about losing her identity in her marriage trying to be the perfect wife.

  17. ol cranky says:

While Madonna and “Rabbi” Berg have turned the Kabbalah center into some sort of cult, please let it be known that Kabbalah is not a sect or stream of Judaism. Kabbalah is Jewish mysticism and, while the ultra-orthodox study the Zohar most intensely as a matter of routine, Kabbalah is interwoven with Judaism and many ideas within certain Jewish practices are based in Kabbalah (i.e., the old Jewish custom of giving gifts to mark life events or memorial donations in multiples of 18).

  18. impppy says:

he looks constantly terrified of being consumed by her. lol great article 🙂

  19. Bej says:

Don’t really care about their age difference. He’s not a child, & can therefore legally make decisions about who he wants to be with. I’m sure he gets something from this relationship that fulfills him, be it emotionally or financially. He certainly gets to travel & live the high life. But as for him being a ‘hot, young piece’? He’s so not attractive! That weak chin, yuck. Not what I’d be paying for if I was into buying young lovers.

  20. Patricia says:

I couldn’t care less if they marry or not.

But I do find it very interesting that in pictures he has the exact same shell shocked look on his face that Guy Ritche used to have.

I don’t see that look on Guy with his new woman. He’s usually smiling, looking relaxed and happy.

    Interesting.

    • Jayna says:

That’s because with Madonna there is a huge throng of paparazzi following her with lots of blinding flashes going off. Guy rarely has anyone papping him.

  21. Cecila says:

Most people on Hollywood has done something to gain notoriety or stepped on a few toes maddona may or may not be any different but u do not sell as many albums or have as many hit singles as she has and not be talented. She may not have the way vocals and but she was a performer. Back in theday maddona performed the hell out of a show and she always done what she wanted and not worries about what people thought which was a plus because u can’t please everyone and everyone has a opinion. I give much cudos to her because of that and if she wants to date a 24yr old she ain’t hurting nobody

  22. michelle says:

i think people who pay for love lack self esteem

  23. madpoe says:

He gon take yo money girl, ruunnn biatch! lol

  24. Ravensdaughter says:

Oh, they look happy in that first pic-and Madonna has been such a success at marriage.
I am sure she is bright enough to say “No.” If she isn’t maybe she should have a sit down with her future mother in law..

  25. BELLA says:

    THANK-YOU ALL!! WELL SAID!BRAVO!!

  26. Sara says:

Wait, Madonna is older than his Mom?

    LMAO.
