These are some new photos of Miley Cyrus at “Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XIII at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa” in Las Vegas over the weekend. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t really care about new Miley photos unless she was actively trying to steal Jennifer Lawrence’s style thunder or she was showing off some seemingly new tatas, but that’s not the case here. Miley looks especially bronzed, sure, and we could discuss her Jenny Packham gown (eh). But really, let’s talk about the ring Miley is flashing. Here’s a better photo of it in Las Vegas:

Is this an engagement ring? Some people think so. But… I don’t know. I don’t think so. I think if Miley was engaged, she A) wouldn’t be able to shut up about it and B) would have bought herself/demanded a better ring. I think this ring is cute as a simple fashion ring, but it doesn’t work as an engagement ring at all. Miley knows that. So… she probably wants people to talk about whether she and Liam are engaged, but they probably aren’t. Yet. But it might be coming. Miley is 19 years old, Liam Hemsworth is 22 years old. They’re living together. Miley has come out to his premieres and done the supportive-girlfriend thing. It’s not so out-there that they might get engaged. But I don’t think it’s happened yet.
UPDATE: For what it’s worth, Us Weekly’s source says Miley and Liam are not engaged.
Oh, and Miley might be trying to distract us all from the fact that she parked in a handicapped spot while she took a Pilates class last week. I absolutely HATE when people do this.

I don’t like yellow gold…to me it looks tacky and the ring she’s wearing looks like it came out of those quarter, trinquet machines outside some stores and restaurants…lol…that hair reminds me of the 80′s..she’s a maniac, ya’ll!

From what I’ve read in some other forums, apparently that ring was a gift she got months ago and she’s been posting silly pictures like that for a while. However, we just now noticed because before this whole Hunger Games media-blitz that has put Liam (and by extension, her) back in a super-scrutinized public position, none of us really cared about what she was tweeting. Unless it was silly.

HA!, that’s the first thing that came to mind for me, too! Cheap, crappy, turn-your-finger-green, adjustable ring your boyfriend gives you in second grade. That style is incredibly unoriginal, boring, and blah. Failure.

Liam will outgrow her as his star rises and hers plummets. She knows that and is probably trying desperately to pin him down ASAP.

I hate when people write about her parking in the handicapped spot without even knowing the facts. The candids CLEARLY showed her getting into the passenger seat. Her friend pulled up to pick her up and she just jumped in, it’s not even her car. As usual she’s getting all the blame for it.

I am shocked to even hear myself saying this, but she looks pretty gorgeous IMO. More mature and I actually do like the colour of the gown. She could dial back on the tan a bit though.

I can’t help but think that maybe Liam really is into her. And that he seems disinterested in the photo-ops to seem “cool”. Either way, they make a cute couple. I’m rooting for them.

I have never thought Miley was pretty or even cute. But, she looks good in these pictures. Maybe it is just the way she dress sometimes that turn me off her.
It is a shame she managed her career so poorly after HM. She went slutty way to fast and it came of as tryhard. Miley isn’t sexy so it was so forced and contrived.

Huh. I think I’m the only one who likes the ring. I agree with others who say the haircut is a HUGE improvement. Always like her better with shorter hair. And taking a handicap place is SO obnoxious. And a healthy 19 yr old?! On her way to a gym?!?!!!
