Know this: I was originally going to cover all of the normal people from last night’s Tribeca Ball in NYC, but I was thread-jacked (photo-jacked?) by Paz de la Huerta’s crazy ass. Paz was at the event, looking… well, looking like PAZ, and so now this thread has to start with her. I’ve been trying to figure out the dress code for this event, and I can’t. Some people were wearing business attire, some were wearing full-fledged gowns. Paz struck a (crazy) happy-medium with this simple black dress, and then she fugged it up with horrible hair, a day purse and awful makeup. I feel a bit bad for Paz… she thought she was launching herself into a big new career, but she’s become something of a joke. That dude is her “guest” by the way. I don’t know who he is. But if Paz was doing that to me, I would cry.
Here’s Padma Lakshmi in a boring dress. Padma is so dependent on styling, and she’s just not bringing it here.
Kim Cattrall would look nice if this was a business meeting. Is it a business meeting? I don’t know. If you’re calling something a “ball” I think you should avoid turquoise blazers.
I love Carla Gugino. Underrated actress, underrated beauty. The dress is pretty – the hair is too big, too much.
Julianna Margulies – I love her too. I just wish she would stop with the unflattering Croydon facelift.
Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber. She looks beautiful – I love her velvet dress. He looks… meh. There were some rumors about some relationship trouble several months ago, but his rep shut them down hard. So maybe they’re fine. Hopefully they’re fine. Do you think they’re fine? I don’t.

When I watched an episode of Boardwalk Empire with the s.o. and Paz came on the screen, he recoiled in horror and asked “WTF is *that*!?” No lie. I thought she would clean up well for the small screen, but I was very much mistaken.

Ok wait… as a Boardwalk Empire addict, I can tell you she purposely is made to look rough in the later episodes. In the first season she was absolutely beautiful. Then I saw her on this blog and I’m all like WTF? She does nude in Boardwalk and she has a beautiful body… she must be on serious drugs to be able to look so pretty but decide to look so trashy

Naomi and Liev have been in Australia recently, Naomi made a movie and Liev looked after the kids. There was a recent pic over Easter showing them enjoying the few days of summer we have had. There didn’t look to be any trouble between them in those pics.
