Last November, Bachelor winner Mary Delgado was arrested in Tampa, Florida on charges of hitting her fiance, professional fisherman Byron Velvick in the face, giving him a bloody lip. Mary and Byron got engaged on the show in 2005 and announced plans on 2007’s “After the Final Rose” episode to marry this November. If they are planning to make it official Mary is having a few last hurrahs. She was arrested again in Texas after refusing to leave a bar. Mary got upset and abusive during her arrest and started kicking when she was put in the police car on her way to the station:
The season six winner of “The Bachelor” continued her losing streak with law enforcement this weekend — after cops say she unleashed a drunken, unprovoked attack on an innocent cop car.
Mary Delgado — who was arrested last year for allegedly punching her fiance, “Bachelor” Byron Velvick — was busted again on Saturday night for public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at Lorina’s Cantina in Del Rio, Texas.
We’re told the Cantina called the cops because Delgado refused to leave the bar, saying it was her “constitutional right” to stay as long as she wanted.
Cops told us Mary became “loud and belligerent” while being transported to jail, and kicked the radio inside the squad car (which didn’t have the usual backseat perp cage).
Delgado was released from the Val Verde County Correctional Facility after Mr. Bachelor posted her bond.

“The Bachelor” has been on for 12 seasons and Mary and Byron are the only couple to have met on the show to remain together since. They haven’t married yet and are likely having trouble considering that Mary is getting into drunken altercations with police. At least we know that they’re still together if Byron got her out of jail.
Charlie O’Connell and Sarah Bice from 2006’s Bachelor broke up over a year ago but are giving their relationship another shot. O’Connell says they’re “not taking each other for granted.”
Companion show “The Bachelorette” has been on for four seasons and married couple Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter are the only couple that has stayed together. That means that ABC’s record is 3/16 and that there’s only one successful marriage to date. It’s more about entertaining us than producing lasting relationships though and it’s up to debate whether it even does that adequately.

Gina, when you love someone, you’re in it for the long haul. Rehab is only step one, it’s not a cure. Thank God she has a man who stands by her and doesn’t dump her when there’s trouble. By the way, it’s been a WHOLE YEAR since the last incident. Addicts WILL stumble; it’s getting back up that counts. How do you know he’s such a flawless prize himself?

I feel that she will never marry Byron and what is the reason. it could be this or that. but when is the wedding day?

I dont understand why he puts up with her. I know he loves her, he has to to keep putting up with her. But enough is enough, he deserves MUCH better. Either put her in rehab or move on.
