New photos of Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron! Somehow, they managed to only do a photo call in Berlin yesterday, and they didn’t have a premiere…? I can’t find the photos if there was a Berlin premiere. So they’re on to their next stop: Madrid! These are the pics from the Madrid photo call. Charlize is wearing this red Giambattista Valli which… I’m not sure about. It’s a great color on her, for sure. And I like the idea of it. But the execution, with the puffy shoulder embellishments – it’s kind of rough on her tall, broad figure. It makes her look top-heavy and football-player-ish. Kristen’s dress is BCBG Max Azaria. It’s cute… eh. I would like it better without the leather faux-suspenders. Beyond that, it’s a silhouette that Kristen goes to all too often – the sleeveless, half-shift minidress. Accessorized by bad posture. It’s just kind of meh.
Incidentally, while promoting SWATH, Kristen was asked by Celebuzz about all of those casting rumors regarding 50 Shades of Grey. As you know, 50 Shades was based on Twilight fan-fiction, and the book is completely AWFUL. But, as I said, it was written with Kristen and Sparkles in mind. So what does Kristen think about it?
Kristen says: “I haven’t read the book yet– so I don’t know…I’m dying to make another movie with Rob, I think that we’re a good team… I just haven’t read it, so I don’t know what it is, but I would love to work with him again.” Sure. Fine. If Kristen and Sparkles get wrangled into this mess, that would be fine with me. Just keep g–damn Michael Fassbender OUT OF IT.

No critic reviews out yet. In other threads, some have posted a couple of negative tweets/ post from film bloggers in the UK blasting the film and among other things, Charlize’s over the top performance… But I’ve also seen some positive stuff as well so who knows. I’ll see it either way.
I think it might still be too early for box office tracking info to get leaked. Maybe in a week or so.
It’s still under embargo, so anyone who has posted isn’t a legit critic. I’d be suspicious of any “blogger” who has posted.

The Runaways was pretty good. I liked her in it.
Actually, I was surprised that I liked The Runaways. No lip-biting at all and the girls were really wild. She was also quite good in Adventureland.
As for the dress, I think she has improved from the Marchesa mess. I’m not really liking Charlize’s dress but the colour is fantastic.

She was great in Into the Wild and The Runaways. It’s easy to say she sucks but she has one of the best resumes in young hollywood. You don’t work with David Fincher, Walter Salles, Mike Figgis, Sean Penn, and Barry Livingston before you hit 19 because you suck. I get that not everyone’s convinced, but she’s convincing the right people all the same.
I thought she was great as Joan Jett. Sometimes she’s annoying, but other times I find her funny.

I’m a fan of her. I find her endearing and her style is on point when she gets it right. When she gets it wrong it’s tragic. There’s no in between with her. Don’t give a damn how many directors she works with…she can’t act. Loads of actors make careers playing the same person in every role and K-Stew can be added to that list. Jennifer Anniston anyone ?? What about Steven Segal or Jason Statham ???
She’s nothing more than the female Michael Cera in the acting department but i’d rather watch her interviews that watch Taylor Swift or Ashley Greene.
When it comes to young actresses, Saoirse Ronan can act circles around most of her peers (male & female). She’ll act circles around them, set fire to those circles then blow out that fire with her skills. Mouthbreather…not so much. Don’t know why people mention ‘Into The Wild’ when she was in it for five minutes. Adventureland was painful to watch but she did great in ‘Welcome to The Riley’s’.
Charlize must be 5’10-6′ because I know Kristen is about 5’5 or 5’6. I agree though.. she looks very tall next to her!

As for 50 Shades… I’d be VERY surprised if they get anyone more than a D- to ‘star’ in that shite – I read a bit for work purposes (oy!) and I felt like I needed to scrub myself with a wire brush afterwards. It really, really SUCKED. Plus anyone who signs up will get connected, albeit loosely, to the creeptacular Twilight fan base. Just NO. And I’d imagine that the thought of some creepy lady indulging her fantasies about you and your boyfriend having kinky sex in a badly-written porno makes KStew throw up in her mouth. Eww.
This is not one of Charlize’s best looks. She gets a reprieve, though, for almost always looking perfect!

Both are trying to move away from Twilight, which is easy to see from the projects they are attaching themselves to. They wouldn’t in a million years do a movie based on Twilight fanfiction. Why would they? Neither one needs the money. They are trying to build long term careers, and need to put Twilight behind them.
It’s also obvious that Robert is trying to stay away from the romance genre for the time being, which is a smart move on his part.
This is an improvement for Kristen. Youthful styling works for her and she has great legs. I like the simple braid too. Charlize looks hot no matter what, she’s an alien that way.

The red dress is shapeless and totally fug, and I’m not liking Charlize’s makeup, either. It’s making her look squinty. I love the colors on KStew’s dress-that deep blue together with the black is a really unusual and striking combination, though the shape/cut of the dress is just ok.
I did like Kristen’s dress, just not the suspenders. Charlize can wear a bag of potatoes and still looke hot, plus the color looks great on her.
K-Stew: I am giving you applause for looking clean and age appropriate but staying with your understated style.
The color could be a bit more vibrant, but again as I love all colors of blue I am giving her a pass. Her hair looks like she actually styled instead of coming out of the bed after having dirty sex with Sparkles and it’s great with the attire. The length of the dress is on point! Not too short not too long. And it showcases Kristen’s NATURAL long and lean look. This time, it’s the right amount of peek-a-boo sheer and I love the different materials used.
A-. But I still don’t like her.
CT. I love everything about this and she is my boo, BUT she gets B because the boobage is an issue. LIFT THEM! The dress has so much attitude and CT has the attitude in spades to wear this dress but the boobage is distracting. THey need to be on an angled proportion with the puffed sleeves. V. Glam though.
I agree. Charlize usually looks so stunning that when she does an average look like this one it’s immediately spotted. The puffy shoulders are kinda of strange…Well, but the real surprise here is Kristen! Wow, she really looks great! I love the dress, the hair, the make-up, she looks flawless and I want that dress (ok..maybe a bit longer and with less transparency :D)!!!

Stewart’s dress is an improvement. Someone must have put her stylist on blast for the Marchesa mess in London. Charlize, red looks great on her but the “shoulder pads” look like a dress Joan Collins would have worn in “Dynasty”.

I’m not a fan of either dress. I’m surprised that the dresses chosen so far for their Snow White promo have not been flattering and look ill fitted on both women. Are they picking out their dresses without trying them on, I wonder? Both women have high profile stylists who have dressed them beautifully in the past. I think the hair and makeup looks good on both even if they do look a bit exhausted. I’m just not very impressed with their dresses so far.
I don’t get the hate for Charlize’s dress. It’s simple and red. The shoulders are perfect because it fits with the theme of her evil character. I like how they are dressing to fit their roles just like the Hunger Games cast did. After all, promotional tours these days are just about fashion shows.

I really like this dress. I think it’s the best she’s looked so far. I don’t know what’s been going on with this promo. Her style has been all over the place…same with Charlize. Kristen looked better during the ‘Twatlight:Breaking Hymen’ promotional tour. I just havent been feeling her hair these days. I think she should leave it down more often.

Kristen’s dress is perfect on her. A little humor (the suspenders) works for her. Charlize’s dress is terrible, looks like it’s on backwards. Red looks OK on her but better on darker skin and hair.
