These are some new photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Cannes. For real!! Kim and Kanye are in the South of France for a reason, y’all. And the reason is not just “famewhoring”. According to Page Six, Kanye will premiere a new film tonight in Cannes. The film is called Cruel Summer – unfortunately, it’s not Kanye’s epic docu-drama on the awesomeness that is Bananarama. The movie is being called an “immersive ‘Seven Screen Experience’ for the eyes and ears unlike anything West has attempted before.” Kanye directed, wrote and produced it. I would imagine that it’s not very good, but God knows.
Damn it, now I can’t get the song out of my head. I HATE YOU KANYE. That’s not true. I love this song so much.
In other Kanye-Kim news, Radar and some Australian tabloid are now claiming that Kim could be a pillhead. Hm…
According to a shocking new report, Kim Kardashian has a growing pill popping habit that has her sister Khloé is concerned — and putting her foot down — and RadarOnline.com has all the details for you.
“She’s freaking everyone out right now,” an insider told Australia’s NW magazine. “She’s taking Valium and sleeping pills. The last time she self-medicated was when she split from Reggie Bush [two years ago,] when everything felt impossible. Khloé’s really freaked out by it: she found a bottle of pills and knew straight away what Kim was doing.”
The insider — calling Khloé “the queen of tough love” — said the wife of Lamar Odom has issued sister Kim a non-negotiable ultimatum: get clean in three weeks, or she’s telling both their mother Kris Jenner and Kim’s current beau, Kanye West.
The fashionista, 31, began the self-destructive behavior, the insider told the magazine, as pressure mounted in the wake of her public split with ex Kris Humphries , and a nonstop work schedule.
“It started with just a little bit to take the edge off or help her sleep, but she could become dependent upon pills, which worries her,” the insider told NW. “I think she’s secretly pleased Khloé found out because she’d have struggled to stop on her own.”
Request for comment was not returned at time of posting.
But! Kim’s spokesperson did tell The Mail that the report “is ridiculous.” And considering the whole story originated with an Australian tabloid, I tend to think it’s BS too. Plus, for all of her faults, I just don’t buy that Kim is a drug user, whether it’s prescription drugs or illegal drugs. The woman barely drinks any alcohol – she’s not some crackie. Her drugs of choice are fame, money and plastic surgery.
Last thing – yes, Kim is totally wearing the exact same Pucci gown that Gwyneth Paltrow wore to last year’s Emmys. Is it weird that I kind of like it better on Kim? Not from the back! But from the front, I kind of like the way Kim fills it out.

Valium and benzos do NOT make you gain. I am currently down from 14 meds (the antidepressants make you gain) to 3 and valium is one of the last because it is tricky as are all benzos to wean after a long time. I had Grave’s disease (hyperthyroidism) now hypo, but developed insomnia and anxiety.
Even now that I am Euthyroid (normal due to hormone pills), I am still on the benzos.
I Weigh as little as I did in high school. My wedding dress and sophomore prom dress fit last night. My daughter and I were having dress up night at my moms.
It was the antidepressants that made me a fatty. I’d say 45 from the thyroid when it died and 45 from the pills. All gone. Yay! Im Just saying’ feels way better!

Ladies, Zelda is right; sleeping pills can cause weight gain (just like antidepressants, etc.). They can cause an increase in appetite and most people wake up being a bit drowsy, so they eat in order to regain energy. Plus, some people sleep-eat, since a pill only relaxes the body, but not the brain activity. I’m not saying that EVERYONE gains weight when taking a sleeping pill, but it is very possible for a lot of people.

I’ve taken both. Boy for even a medical person it’s hard,to tell your own doc no. Took a lot of learning on my part to say nope, not taking those anymore. Because they will keep handing them out,like candy.

Zelda – You are correct, Madame! I don’t take sleeping pills because Lunesta gave me a wicked-bad headache and actually kept me awake; and I actually slept-ate when I took Ambien.
I didn’t realise it until I woke up with BBQ sauce on my forehead and in my hair one morning. My kids – then teens – looked at me and said “You don’t remember coming out here and eating those wings?!?” (That was the last time I took Ambien!)

It’s probably a completely fabricated story, but I do think she’s the type of personality who is prone to becoming a pharmie. Street drugs, no way. But pills… it’s possible.
Plastic surgery addiction often goes hand in hand with pharmacological addiction. Sometimes that’s how it starts. You have a procedure, you get hooked on painkillers afterward, you keep having things done and getting more prescriptions. Then you wake up one day looking like you belong to a different species.

If you ever watch her sex tape (and I’m not recommending it), she was very high on cocaine. I think that when she stopped hanging around Paris her drug use stopped.

Totally agree that it is a fabricated story. But also agree that she is definitely the type to have a pill problem. I think people forget how physically painful all of those plastic surgery procedures can be. And to me she has always seemed sedated. Vapid, sure. Dim-witted, certainly. Girl has major anxiety issues and when she said she didn’t drink on one of her shows, I immediately thought because she is on anti-anxiety meds as to why she doesn’t drink. So I think she has been on some sort of prescribed meds for a long time and maybe now she is starting to abuse them. Remember, pill poppers don’t like to drink!

THIS! Yep, there are pill poppers that drink (the ones that have a death wish) but for the most part they avoid that. My ex was addicted to Oxy, NEVER drank a drop of alcohol. Not his thing.

So yes, whenever I have taken a pill, no drinking. That’s being responsible.
I don’t really like drinking anymore anyway, but mix a benzo and some wine and my family is ready to stage an intervention. You sound wasted and slurring.
So I vowed that would never happen again. Now when I totally wean off the benzos, I don’t plan on picking alcohol back up.

The first thought that popped into my head yesterday when I read this story was that it was a rumor started by the Kardashian’s to garner attention and sympathy.
And the more I thought about it, I realized how sad that is. That this family has lied and schemed and bullsh*tted the public for so long that whatever they do, I (and probably many others) write it off as a publicity stunt.
It’s going to be a sad day for the Kardashian’s when something really does (love, marriage, illness, death, etc.) happen and nobody pays any attention to them. They really need to go back and re-read “The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf” and have somebody explain the moral of the story to them.
