Kristen Stewart was the woman of the hour at the MTV Movie Awards. Sort of. While Kristen only took home one award – “Best Kiss” which she had to accept solo – she presented with her Snow White costar Chris Hemsworth, and she got a lot of cutaways and stuff. I think it’s interesting that Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress (or whatever the category is called), and that Kristen had to announce it. Personally, I think there is a real rivalry between J-Law and K-Stew – it’s not like “OMG, bitch-fight!”. But it’s a healthy competition, and it would have been an interesting moment if Jennifer Lawrence had shown up.
Anyway, Kristen Stewart wore this GUiSHEM mini-dress which I don’t really hate. All of the girls were in mini-dresses last night, did you notice? This one is kind of weird/cute – Kristen loves this silhouette, and the colors and back straps are interesting. My one big complaint about her styling? HER HAIR. I don’t understand how her hair looked great two weeks ago and now it looks like a poorly-dyed rat’s nest. Is her hair just dirty? Or is it a confluence of several awful factors?
When Kristen won for “Best Kiss” and she had to go up there alone, I’m assuming she knew she was going to win and she had her little bit prepared. Did you notice how incredibly awkward she is when it’s a bit she’s rehearsed?

One last thing – this whole appearance was a victory lap for Kristen. She went into the MTV Movie Awards knowing that Snow White & the Huntsman won the weekend box office with a $56.3 opening. It’s probably not as much as the studio was hoping for, but SWATH is still going to be a decent hit and I’m sure Charlize and Kristen are both breathing sighs of relief that this gamble paid off.

Not my favorite dress–she can usually rock a mini, but this one looks a little cheap. That said, it just occurred to me that her hair is her real hair. I mean, no shaggy extensions, no weaves, just hair that is pretty and looks like hair. Bonus points for being slightly normal on that front, at least. I think I have just gotten so used to seeing long trashy extensions that I kind of forget what is normal.
You are wrong, she wears extensions. Her hair is pretty thin and in Twilight she wears hairpieces.
She wears a fall in Twilight to give her hair length. That is all Kristen’s hair. Her hair isn’t thin at all. She’s got a ton of hair.
Yeah, I’m sure in movies and in costume, she may be wearing hairpieces/falls/etc. (never seen Twilight). But I’m pretty sure that on the red carpet she is just working her own locks, which is commendable.
KS does, in fact, wear extensions for length and fulness. The extensions are very apparent in some of the photos. She stated about two months ago that her hair is shoulder length.
She naturally has v. full hair that is kind of auburn…there were some photos before Snow White which showed her with hair that was only a few inches past her chin…so obvs. no extensions. It looked great, she needs to go back to that…then again, this could be her hair but super damaged because of the snow white dye and extensions..

Her hair actually isn’t very full at all. People with full hair have full hair at the scalp, which KS does not based on the attached photo.

As a girl with super thick hair that runs in the family I can tell you that Kristen NEVER had thick hair. Based on her photos from before Twilight fame she seemed to have fair hair, not too thick but not exactly thin either. But then she started dying it and cutting it for roles and its obvious her hair isn’t even fair anymore. It’s really, really, thin.
I like her dress. I know Im gonna get alot of hate for this comment but if Kristen was nominated for Best Actresss she would have won. She has a bigger fanbase than Jennifer.
Bigger fanbase doesn’t mean better actress. And if these awards were voted on by the public, it would seem that Jennifer Lawrence has the bigger fanbase.
Why does she NEVER do her hair??? Is she not capable of putting a brush through it? It doesn’t look nice and tousled, it looks ratty and unkempt. She sat still long enough for someone to slather on the eyeshadow, they could’ve done her hair.

I am not a fan of everybody wearing all the superheavy black eyes and pale face. They all look like heroin addicts. Which is I guess what they are going for.

My husband and I went to see SWATH on Saturday. I thought Chris Hemsworth was solid, and Charlize was AMAZING. Why doesn’t she do crazy, vain, beautiful characters all the time? She was insane and perfect! As usual, K-Stew was the weak point.
As soon as I saw this dress on her last night, I instantly liked it! Which might be a first because I don’t think she really dresses for her build all that often, so I’d say this look overall was a win. The hair was a tad much, but I can personally overlook it, considering it was just the movie awards.
As for her bits, the best kiss thing made me chuckle only because I saw a gif on tumblr of Rob saying he wasn’t going to be there and if Kristen won, she’d have to kiss herself. Guess she really did! My boyfriend said she’s very painful to watch and I think featuring her heavily kind of pointed that out. She’s best in small doses.

the dress suits her, the hair is a little messy, the thing is, she never leaves it alone, she’s always playing with it lol, the best kiss thing was awkard, but cute, at least she tries to be different.
I agree with the poster that commented on the best actress, the only reason why Jen or Josh won it was because Rob & Kristen didn’t get nominated, Tw dominates the MTV awards, if they were nominated they would’ve won no doubt.
Mtv got a lot of hate from them, I was surprised they gave best movie to TW, I guess they have to play nice with the fans until next year, with no HP, no HG, TW is the only thing they have left.

her and josh were costars in zathura. he’s even admitted to having a crush on her when they were younger which i think is adorable. josh is a class act.
i agree. i think ppl want to build up rivalries between the popular franchises, but i honestly think she is so far away from that. i never get the feeling that she’s secretly harboring bad feelings about other actors, but puts on a good face for press, which is custom among actors. but i also worry she’s a little too naive about it too. bc some of her peers are impressively two faced. i can’t wait til she doesn’t have to come to these dumb obligatory awards shows anymore.

Her hair got screwed up by all the extensions/dye for Snow White…That said, her real hair when it is healthy looks great…I remember seeing a few photos before that film was done, and it was surprisingly short and full…To get her hair healthy, she should chop off several inches.

The shoes don’t work with the dress. Heavier, more high style shoes would have been better. Not too keen on the dress, but since she’s slouching it’s hard to get a good look at it. Her hair looks like shit. I agree – girl needs a new stylist.

I think she looks awesome. That dress is not something I would ever wear but it’s her style for sure. I love the messy hair and heavy eye makeup on her. Again, this look doesn’t work for everyone but it does for her IMO. I like that she has a signature style.

Even at her age, I had a sense of what I liked to wear. So maybe she needs to slap her stylist and say “Give me stuff I like, that reflects me, not some Barbie!”

That bothers me too, it was cute the first time but now it’s just annoying. If she doesn’t like heels so much than just come in wearing the sneakers you so obviously love. Or wear some stylish comfy flats.
I saw Snow White and the Huntsman. Charlize Theron was outstanding. There was some beautiful music and the special effects were great.
But it just fell flat somehow. There wasn’t enough character development for me to really care that much about the characters. I can’t say exactly why it fell short, but it did.
Kristen Stewart, you could tell she was trying, but that’s the problem. You don’t get lost in her acting, she always looks like she’s acting or sort of being her awkard self. A perfect example is when she is dancing with the dwarf. She definitely looked like Kristen Stewart akwardly interacting with a dwarf. It really looked like she was trying to give it her all, but I personally, do not like her as an actor. I will try to avoid movies in the future that she is in because it ruins it a little.
I was pretty disappointed in the movie I have to say. I really thought it would be better.
Bummer. I was hoping K-Stew might actually show some skills. I’ve only seen her in a few things but I agree-she does seem like she’s trying which can be a real distraction when you’re trying to become absorbed in a character or movie. Well, at least my girl Charlize delivered! What did you think of the movie outside of the acting? Set, costumes, effect etc..

I think it’s worth going to see. I didn’t have high expectations for Kristen, so she didn’t really disappoint. There was a lot of mouth breathing, but everyone else was so good they kind of made up for her. I found myself paying more attention to everyone else, which I suppose isn’t good if you’re the lead. But, it was better acting than the Twilight crap. The scenery, costumes, all of it was beautiful. Like Choose Me said, the pacing was off and the movie did run about 30 min. too long, but I enjoyed it for what it was, a twist on an old fairytale.
No lip biting or anything that usually annoys people. She was fine. That said, Charlize blew away both her and Chris. The script was terrible though, which most of the critics noted.
Hm, I thought Charlize was good but needed to reel it in a bit in a couple of scenes but her Revenna was very, very good. Kristen was good too, imo but is clearly trying to improve. The mouth-breathing is distracting to be sure but I think she has potential. Hey if Scarjo can learn to close her mouth and emote a little more, she can too. Chris Hemsworth performance was solid. The man has natural charm and screen presence. Overall the movie suffered from bad pacing. I would have cut some scenes in order to give a little more back story about Revenna. It was clear from what little back story there was that she was not always evil. I found her a very tragic figure to be honest. Loved the costumes as well.
Can someone who saw the movie please tell me what Kristen’s English accent is like? Was it believable or did she totally fail on that front? That is what has been plaguing me about this film.

She is a gorgeous girl, and I like her style. However, I can’t stand the smug look in her eyes. She also comes across as a brat in almost every interview she does, so it’s really hard for me to enjoy her red carpet looks. I can’t wait to see Snow White and the Huntsman, but not because of her, but because Charlize looks amazing in it.

I didn’t mind the dress or her hair. For once her awkwardness was kinda cute. The guy from Hunger Games was terrible and accepting awards as was the girl from the Descendents. She and Chris presenting were one of the nicer moments of the show.
All except Christian Bale choking up a little and Joel McHale which were the best parts of the show.
She has amazing legs. I like the dress but she always wears the same style of clothing.
