Jenny McCarthy denies $50 mill Jim Carrey payout: ‘I’m living in a van by the river’

Jenny McCarthy was a guest on the Wendy Williams show recently. Their publicist sent us a link to her video interview (above) and I was struck by how botoxed she is. Her face barely moves at all when she talks. I rely on The Soup to keep me up to date with Wendy Williams’ show, but whenever I see it I’m impressed with how much dirt Wendy is able to dig. She asks people the questions directly from the tabloids, and I admire that about her.

When Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy were dating (they lasted five years, from 2005-2010), there was a rumor that Jim gave Jenny $50 million in a trust for her son, Evan. (Again, Evan is not Jim’s biological son at all, he’s from Jenny’s first marriage.) Around the time that they broke up, there was another story that seems to have originated in Star Magazine (I know) that Jim gave Jenny $25 million, $5 million for each year that they were together. On Wendy’s show, Jenny denied that Carrey gave her $50 million or $25 million but she never said outright that he didn’t give her a chunk of money when they broke up. She also complained about how hard it is to be a single mom, and told a dumb story about how she sent a nude photo of herself to her son’s dentist:

On why she’s posing for Playboy again
I was so tired of just seeing the 20 year olds just considered sexy. I was like “Milfs are hot too.”

How she has “working mom syndrome” and it’s been hard on her
Evan is doing amazing. He was undiagnosed from having autism, clinically which is incredible. He’s not the only one, there’s thousands of kids that get better. It was a long journey. He’s the love of my live. I’ve been suffering a lot from working mom syndrome. I’ve probably cried ten times in the past week. I saw a tarot card lady and I was like (fake crying) “I’m a terrible mother.” As a single mom I’m the only breadwinner. I’ve been trying to balance work and being a supermom. It’s been hard on me.

On if Jim Carrey gave her 50 million when they broke up
That’s not true. I’m barely living in a van down by the river. (SNL reference.) I did not get 50 million dollars. I didn’t get 25 million dollars. I went into it going “I’m going in with is mine and his is his” and I’ve always been a really strong independent woman and get back on my feet after being kicked… you know. I’ve done it all on my own. I did not want to participate.

How she texted a nude photo of herself to her son’s dentist
So Evan had this… abscess just sticking out from his gum and I’m like “OMG that’s disgusting.” So I called the dentist… and he’s like “take a picture of it and send it to me…” I sent him a nude by accident. I swear to God. I was like with my boyfriend… Can you imagine? The guy is like 80 years old.

On if she’s planning for another kid
I want to give Evan all my attention, because I am a single mom. I think, this uterus is closed.

On her new boyfriend, Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher
I wanted to have a macho guy. I was sick of having guys wanting to borrow my makeup.

[Transcribed from The Wendy Williams show, video above]

The part where she bitched about being a single mom really rubbed me the wrong way. I’m sure she’s a hands-on mom and she tries to do a lot for her son, but she’s not earning any fans by complaining about it. The woman is not hurting for money or help at home I’m sure. She tried to make a reference to Chris Farley’s famous SNL bit by claiming that she’s “barely living in a van down by the river,” but give me a break. Also, I don’t mean to split hairs but she never said specifically that Jim Carrey didn’t give her any money. She sounded cagey to me about it. She just said she didn’t get 50 or 25 million and then added that she’s “done it all on my own.” If he didn’t give her something after they split up, why didn’t she say that?

Also, I hope she made up that ridiculous story about texting a nude photo of herself to her son’s elderly dentist. That’s just dumb.

Photos of Jenny alone and with her son are recent from this year. She’s shown with Jim in 2007 and 2009. I blurred her nips! Credit: Fame Flynet, PRPhotos and WENN.com

I love Jim Carrey, I hope he is well and happy! He could do sooo much better than Jenny. Renee Zelweger? Minnie Driver?

    • NYC_girl says:

I watched him on Actors Studio yesterday and really liked him. He seems wacky and might have some emotional issues but I’d like to believe he was genuine and nice. He’s really talented – his Andy Kauffman is amazing.

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

My 7 year old cousin was an extra in Mr Poppers Penguins, and she and her mother said he couldn’t have been nicer. He spent quite a bit of time chatting with the kids and taking photos with them.

    • Jujube says:

Love Jenny and her advocacy for children with autism! Go girl and ignore the haters- you’ve obviously struck a nerve.

      • Gaia132 says:

She is NOT an advocate for children with autism. She has spread very dangerous misinformation about what causes the disorder.

      • duncecap says:

I’m with Gaia132 on this. I liked Jenny until she spread such horrible ignorance about autism.
        http://www.salon.com/2011/01/06/jenny_mccarthy_autism_debate/

Just do a simple google search on the shady science behind this. There is no other way to put it but dangerous.

The sad thing is that there are people who believe this shit and have been letting their autistic kids suffer needlessly for years.

Shut the **** up, Jenny! You’re not a doctor. Sad thing is the ppl who are fans of Jenny’s “advocacy” seem to think doctors are in on some vaccination conspiracy. They’re like the Flat Earth people.

      • starsh says:

This dangerous woman has personally set back inoculation by pushing a man whose research findings have been widely and officially denounced.

      • Jambonette says:

I couldn’t agree more. First anti-vaccine nuts were claiming it was the mercury in the vaccines (harmless trace amounts btw) and now that the mercury has been removed they still blame vaccines…because?….”TEH BIG PHARMA!” And the quacks trying to “cure” autism with BS chelation and stuff are doing it for free? Sorry for the rant…:)

      • Luise says:

Vaccines do a tremendous amount of good. However, when they are clumped together and given to immature immune systems they can cause harm. If they were split up and not given so frequently then less harm would be done.

      • Jujube says:

I see all the pharma whores are out. The only dangerous thing is the frightening yearly increases in autism incidence, especially for boys. Funny that the vaccine schedule keeps on ramping up, too. Genetics? My arse. More parents are flying in though, so I take heart in that.

  2. beyonce's bump says:

?????? why we giving this thing publicity all of a sudden?????

    • corny says:

Duh, the loudmouth pig has to get some publicity for her new show so she could get more money, greedy sloppy wench.

      • NeNe says:

That is exactly what I was going to say. Otherwise, why has she kept quiet all this time. Give me a break!

  3. the original bellaluna says:

It’s called “child support” – GET SOME. From yo baby daddy. And STFU already!!!!!!!! (God, strike her with lightening or something! ANYTHING to shut. her. UP!)

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

      Hi Bella 🙂
Who exactly is the father of Evan?

      • Wembley says:

It was the blond guy from the movie Weird Science. He’s a director now. Of what? IDK-IDC.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        @ Wembley-Anthony Michael Hall??????????????????

      • Layale says:

John Mallory Asher is Evan’s father. I wonder if he even sees him?

      • the original bellaluna says:

Hi TOKitt! Honestly, I didn’t know who Evan’s father is, but I find it funny (not “funny ha-ha”) that she NEVER talks about him! It’s not like he’s some gas station clerk or fast-food worker.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

@Bella-Right? It’s so odd that I never realized that I have no idea who the father of her son is. She NEVER talks about him or mentions him by name. She must really hate the dude..

      • mayamae says:

Evan’s father lost interest in his son when he was diagnosed with autism. Why would she talk about the loser who abandoned his child?

I don’t care for her but she does seem to mostly keep it positive. Howard Stern asked her about Jim. Maybe she was caught off guard and said more than she intended? The break up was 2 years ago and she only just recently talked about it.

      • the original bellaluna says:

mayamae – Well shame on him for being a giant bag of dicks! But financial support DOES NOT END when “interest” does; it ends when the kid is 18; graduates from HS (some graduate after turning 18); or upon graduating from college, dependent upon whether the genetic father is a douche-bag or not.

My step-father (who I call my dad) paid for both medical insurance AND college educations for my (step) siblings. He’s a stand-up kind of guy, and I wish to GOD he’d been my dad all my life!

(My “dad” stole my college education bonds when my parents divorced. WAY TO GO, “DAD!”)

    • Bobby sue says:

Yes, it’s always so cut and dry.

      • the original bellaluna says:

It’s actually quite a pain the ass. But if I (a lowly property manager with 2 little ones to support) could extract it from my lay-about ex, certainly SHE can get SOMETHING from her ex-husband.

Lawyers aren’t cheap, and we make lots of jokes about them, but good family law ones are worth their weight IN GOLD!

    • Launicaangelina says:

Seriously, I’m wondering what’s up with Evan’s father. He wasn’t a huge actor by any means but he has to at least pay something. Maybe that something is not enough for Jenny? I remember he ex from Weird Science, the TV show.

      • Anon says:

        http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/actors/jenny-mccarthy-net-worth/

“Jenny McCarthy was born in Illinois and has an estimated net worth of $14 million dollars. A model, actress, and comedienne, Jenny McCarthy first made a name for herself appearing in Playboy, and later became a host of MTV’s “Singled Out”. Her hosting gig led to several film and television roles. She is currently doing voice-over work and focusing on independent projects.”

14 million isn’t in a van down by the river, liar Jenny.

  4. Tifygodess24 says:

I was wondering what was up with her face , even her breasts look weird lately. Maybe it’s how she styles herself? She looked better back when she was with Jim. Still would love to know what happened there.

    • Jayna says:

It’s really not hard to understand what happened. Jim is outgoing andche’s very moody and suffers from dark depressions. None of his marriages or relationships have lasted. When Jenny said it stopped being fun, that’s just a way of nicely saying his dark depressions became unbearable to live with – I bet.

    • Vesper says:

I seem to remember Jim was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and he experiences more of the depressive symptoms. Bipolar depression tends to be far more serious than unipolar depression, and can last for a very long period of time, even when someone is taking their meds.

It can be very difficult to maintain a relationship with someone who is bipolar, depending on how extreme their symptoms are. It’s even more difficult to explain to a young child what is going on. This is coming from someone who has numerous family members who are bipolar.

      • Kitty says:

I totally agree about being someone with bipolar who suffers more from depression. My partner does. He is a wonderful person but it is difficult on both of us when he gets down. It happens regardless of whether he is taking his medication. I think you just have to be there for the person who is suffering from bipolar. It may be hard for me sometimes but I know it would be far harder for my amazing man if he had to do it by himself. I think I am lucky to have such a beautiful person in my life, even if he does suffer from bipolar. I hope Jim finds someone to love him unconditionally as well.

  5. alison says:

“I didn’t get 25 million”- WHO SAYS THAT? Is she complaining? i don’t understand. So she could have potentially gotten 24.9 million? It’s uncouth to talk about money, especially when it’s in such large sums.

    • Susan says:

Especially when she’s starting a reality show that will pay her enough to be considered in the 1%.

    • Michelle says:

And when she says “what’s mine is mine and his is his”…..HUH? They werent married!!! Jim didn’t have to give her a cent yet alone a million.

      • Marjalane says:

I can’t swear to it, but I really believe that Jenny herself talked about the money Jim Carey gave her on Chelsea Handler’s show. I remember it being something like 6-7 million, and she said how grateful she was for it and how they had a “really healthy, grown up, break up”. I think she’s totally re-writing history.

      • gg says:

Except in California where there is palimony.

  6. sunmoonstars says:

OH MY GOD I LOATHE THIS WOMAN! Look, “lady”, you hosted a terrible MTV game show like, 15 years ago and screwed a rich, mentally unstable man for a few years, so why do you think anyone gives a d**n about you and your old and used up (by Hollywood standards, so please no one here take this personally) Fievel from “An American Tail” lookin azz?

Oh I forgot to mention her non stop exploitation of her disabled son from the second she got pregnant! What a vile woman…GO AWAY. YOU ARE NOT RELEVANT AND NOBODY CARES.

    • gg says:

wow I hope your day gets better. You sound personally inflicted upon by this woman.

    • Jujube says:

Ya stop hating’ on her. I love her advocacy for children with autism. She has the balls to stand up to pharma. Go Jenny.

    • Vesper says:

I don’t remember the non stop exploitation of her child, starting from the moment she was pregnant.

Give the woman a break. If it is true that her ex-husband lost interest in their child after he was diagnosed with autism, he probably has no contact with his son. After going thru such a betrayal, it seems likely that Jenny would have discussed this situation with Jim when their relationship got serious to ensure her son didn’t go the same thing again. Her anger at Jim is understandable. Under these circumstances, a decent man would have made an effort for the ocassional visit.

      • Akasha says:

She wrote a book about being pregnant. It’s called, “Belly Laughs”. Getting pregnant was definitely lucrative for her.

  7. cody says:

Why do all these 30 something female celebs use so much botox that they look terrible. Isn’t there a close friend or family member to tell them truth? I use to think she was a sexy looking woman, but that above video/picture makes her look distorted.

    • Chicagogurl17 says:

You mean 40 something? Jenny is almost 40 maybe that has her freaked out since she’s relied on her looks for far too long. Still looks terrie though

    • Chicagogurl17 says:

She is starting to look like a tall Joan Rivers.

  8. janie says:

I can actually relate to the dentist thing–I recently got a new phone, and sometimes it’ll say that I’m texting one person but it gets sent to someone else.

Long story short, I accidentally sexted my dad. Most embarrassing moment of my life.

    • Susan says:

      Yikes!

    • Liv says:

      Oh my god! 😀

    • Samigirl says:

I’m sorry, but that is hilarious. I accidentally sent my father in law a picture of my nipple. He wanted a pic of his grand daughter, and I had one of her smiling…forgot that she was smiling bc she just finished nursing….

    • Erinn says:

I think there is a memory issue with my phone… I’ll click on a certain conversation, and KNOW that I’ve picked that one then it gets sent to someone else.. it’s like it’s remembering which conversation used to be in that order but it hadn’t updated. I’ve had a few very out of context texts sent!

  9. Hazeldazel says:

She’s telling the truth – she did not get 50 or 25 million from Jim Carey. She got closer to $5 million.

Still a nice thing for him to do and she’s a whack job. No wonder her son is in therapy.

    • Liv says:

      So she did get money?

    • lisa says:

      thank you.

I always wondered why her Oprah show never came through. Is she still super active in Autism? Never hear or see her. wonder if that was also to get Jim more vested.

      • Jujube says:

Yes, she’s still very actively involved with kids who have autism. Actually to the point where she is a hero in the true sense of the word. I work with children with autism so I tend to notice that stuff.

      • WOM says:

She may still be involved in the autism community, but she’s turned her back on the Indigo Child Movement. Anyone remember this phase of Jenny’s persona? She use to preach that autistic kids represented the next stage in human evolution when we all become more sensitive to our environment and other humans. But there was no money/attention/fame in that crazy theory, so she started her anti-vax campaign.

    • the original bellaluna says:

I believe the quoted number was $2.5 million. So no, she didn’t get $25 or $50 mill from JC.

      • Maria says:

Who cares!!!! At least she got something out of him… She shouldn’t complain, she was his GIRLFRIEND, not wife and he’s not the father of her child! Why should he pay anything????She should just STFU!!!

      • the original bellaluna says:

Maria – AGREED. Hence my comments.

    • LAK says:

So it’s the kim K denial of receiving money from her porn video ie she received x millions upfront, but none of the profits that they later made off it!

  10. MorticiansDoItDeader says:

“He was undiagnosed from having autism, clinically which is incredible.”

In other words, he was misdiagnosed.

    • Samigirl says:

      ^^^THIS.

    • Jackie O says:

      exactly.

does she think people are so stupid they don’t seen behind her manipulation of information??

ya, she is just like any other working mom…except she is a millionaire (at least).

    • lulu says:

Not only that, but it seems he doesn’t have autism.

“A new article in Time magazine — which Jenny was interviewed for — suggests Evan suffers from Landau-Kleffner syndrome, “a rare childhood neurological disorder that can also result in speech impairment and possible long-term neurological damage.””

      and…

“And she is also reversing her initial position that the MMR shots caused Evan’s autism. Jenny now says she wants vaccinations better researched — rather than getting rid of them altogether, as she previously promoted. And though her son may never have had autism, Jenny insists, “I’ll continue to be the voice” of the disorder.”

So really, I don’t know what the hell she is trying to say here.

      • the original bellaluna says:

        It’s called back-peddling. (See also: Oops, I f*cked up.)

      • Jilliterate says:

Translation: “The original source of the anti-vaccine movement has been barred from practicing medicine for making stuff up to promote his own financial interests. I now look like a complete moron, and am trying to save my credibility.”

But it’s ok, Jenny! You never had credibility, so don’t stress about it!

      • Bird says:

Right, Jilliterate, because the drug companies have NO FINANCIAL INTEREST WHATSOEVER in vaccines. They don’t make a dime off of them.

        Get a freaking clue.

      • Jay says:

@Bird: speaking of getting a clue, drug companies make very little on vaccines because you get one or two doses in your life vs. drugs that you must take every day of your life in order to manage a condition. If this was just a money making scam, it’s a poorly thought out one.

      • mamaoftwo says:

@jay – actually, they do make a lot of money from vaccines. It is a profitable bussiness. There are many advances that could be implemented to benefit the population, however the companies postpone the decision until the very last minute so they can get the last dollar out of it. There is absolutely no doubt that the vaccines could be safer and greener. Getting mercury out of vaccines? Could have happened a lot sooner than it did (and some are still not mercury free!). Getting MMR vaccine split up so it can be done separately if we choose – technically a very simple task, but this is still not available at the local pedi office because it doesn’t make financial sense for these companies. Giving Hep B vaccine to newborns which is common in all hospitals today – another decision that benefits these companies. But unless your baby has sex in their crib or is doing drugs, chances are they won’t get HEP B. There is A LOT of money being made off of vaccines, and you are very misguided. I am not saying Jenny is a credible source, but to make a conclusion that the pharm companies are not gaining much is ignorant.

      • eileen says:

The worst part is that the vaccines with live cells they have pulled mercury out of, they are using Formaldehyde to preserve them. Since its used for DEAD bodies, there are no studies on long term effects of it. I got my kids vaccinated, but I really find their preservation pactices shady. I go to a general and holistic doctor-he is so great! He advised me to schedule the vaccines longer apart and wait on some until they are older. Did it help? Who knows.

      • the original bellaluna says:

Alright, I’m smacking this bitch-fest down! The vaccine (AKA BIG PHARMA) companies make their money from gauging the government-subsidised vaccinations.

They further that by instilling FEAR into citizens and then having METRIC F*CK TONS OF LOBBYISTS smash the gov’t, thus insuring that patents stay in place.

GOD FORBID THERE BE AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE, MEDS, AND TREATMENT!!!!!!!!!!

(I’m sorry. I’m such an incredible BITCH today. I have a headache in my face. If I had insurance, I’d go get antibiotics for the sinus infection I KNOW I have.)

      • eileen says:

@OGLuna: Guuuuuuuurl, I can hear you pounding on your keys from Atlanta! 🙂
I agree with ya on many fronts. I think Fear is a great motivator and weapon that many powerful groups use on the public. Take care of yourself and feel better!!

      • the original bellaluna says:

@eileen: I love ya! Thank you! (Am I a heinous bitch today or what?) 😉 My f*ck tank is officially empty! Not a single f*ck to give.

      • Jujube says:

Pretty sure she’s not back peddling. The colleague of Dr. wakefield was recently found to have any and all charges dropped as to professional misconduct. In fact the General Medical Council was found to be basically a gong show, a witch hunt- so much for your angle.

      • Jujube says:

Replying here to Jay. Dude, you could not be more wrong about vaccines not being big money makers. Look at the recent Forbes magazine article- vaccines are a huge growth market- flu (each year now they’re pushing a deadly flu warning on us), Gardasil, endless dpt shots to “cocoon” babies, I heard they have an acne vaccine going. God you name it they’ve got some idiot vaccine for it-

      • Vesper says:

For God’s sake, diagnosing a medical condition is not as simple as a+b=c. Medical symptoms can become clearer after a period of time has elapsed, and sometimes a diagnosis changes.

One example, is bipolar II disorder. Past research indicates that many people who were originally diagnosed with atypical depression or cyclothymia, are in fact bipolar II. In addition, it was not uncommon for a period of 10 years to pass before the bipolar (II) diagnosis was made. Symptoms can change over time, or become more or less severe which means making a diagnosis is not an exact science.

      • Trashaddict says:

Fear is a great motivator that prevents people from getting vaccinated too. While there may not be a huge need for say, Hepatitis A vaccine, do you really want to go back to the days of post-polio paralysis? Have you seen a child with whooping cough (look on YouTube). Also there is absolutely no scientific basis for separate vaccines causing less harm than combined. Parents of kids who have had vaccine-oreventable diseases tend to turn into pretty strong vaccine advocates.
Why don’t you harness your fear to something much more dangerous to the population at large, say drunk driving or automatic weapons? The death toll in my city from gun murders cumulatively over the last decade or so is comparable to US deaths in the Iraq war. You are focusing on low-frequency events instead of the things that are really killing our children.

      • Jujube says:

Trash addict, if you can’t simply google up the name “, twin study, importance of environment” then you are being pretty selective about what research you look at. Hopeless.

    • Mirage says:

Not necessarily. You can be diagnosed for autism and then with therapy the autistic characteristics can disappear. Some children with autism do get better and are in mainstream classrooms and teachers cannot tell these children had autism.

I don’t understand why some people believe her son was misdiagnosed? Because a newspaper article says so? Did the writer spend time with her son to state that? She had medical professionals to diagnose her son. It feels like if you hate someone then you hate everything about her. Everything she does is bad?

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

I’ve read peer reviewed articles indicating autism can be improved via diet and therapy, but never have I seen a reputable source claim that autism is cured this way. People believe her son was misdiagnosed because there is no known cure for autism. Also, the quote @Lulu provided up thread (from Jenny herself) seems to indicate that his diagnosis was questionable.

      • Johanna says:

People think he was misdiagnosed because there is NO cure for autism at this time! People claim that some characterizations can be cured… Maybe. But essentially, that’s not what she’s saying. She claims he is no longer autistic & unfortunately that’s impossible.

      • Mirage says:

Perhaps Jenny said her son may be misdiagnosed, again, she is not a medical professional. He may or may not have autism but he had autistic characteristics.

In her book, she states that her son was recovered from autism and then some “journalist” wrote it as cure from autism. And the phrase “I cure my son” got stuck and people are slamming her for it. I am in the autism field. Many people do not know about autism, not first hand. They make assumptions and think they are facts.

It is possible to lose the autistic behaviors. Every few years children are tested to see where they are at the age level. It seems like her son was at the age level for neurotypical children.

      • Esmom says:

Once you’re diagnosed with autism, the characteristics never really disappear. They can improve dramatically, largely because as the kids get older they mature neurologically but also develop and fine tune their coping mechanisms.

My son, who is almost 13, looks “typical” to almost everyone. What most people don’t know is how much he still struggles and how hard he works every minute of every day to function closely at the level of his peers. It’s draining for him — and for me when he comes home and needs to let off steam. And it’s sad because now he is more aware of how different he really is inside.

Jenny, imo, has done nothing but damage to the autism community with her ill-informed garbage.

      • Sweettart says:

Yes, I know people who have reclaimed their children from autism.

One had a son who was diagnosed very young. She worked with him for several years using the Sonrise method and a very strict diet. He is now symptom free.

I have another friend whose son has Aspergers. He has become symptom free through diet and therapy.

      • Me says:

I agree. Mirage didn’t say it’s cured. She said with therapy and treatment the symptoms can disappear. My son also was diagnosed with Autism at 3. He is now 6. He’s been in ECI since he was 18 months. He just graduated Kindergarten and was mainstreamed into regular classroom at the beginning of last year. He is a completely different little boy today than he was when all of this started thanks to intervention and diet. No, he’s not cured. He’s BETTER. There’s a lot of misinformation in the comments on this site about Autism and frankly, I’m tired of reading it. Autism is NOT one size fits all. Children CAN be mainstreamed, as evident by my son. It’s called Autism Spectrum Disorder for a reason: there are children who are very low on the Spectrum who are seriously disabled and there are children very high on the Spectrum, such as Aspies. It is a very broad range. Sorry to get on a soapbox, but the comments on all of these JM articles regarding Autism have been rubbing me the wrong way.

      • Trashaddict says:

Esmom, I’m with you. Mine has Asperger’s. We’ll always be “on alert” for the rest of our lives….hasn’t stopped my faith in vaccines.

    • Kimble says:

      @ Esmom + 1

There are still so many people in the austism community that believe her crap – she set the cause back years …

When we start using money to help families and autistic adults instead of researching stupid theories for what is essentially a genetic disorder, I’ll be a happy autism mum!

      • Jujube says:

When companies like Mitsubishi stop rewarding aspire orgs like Ari Neemans’ with money that will be a good day. Did you know Mr. neeman was actually against a wandering code? He is sick if he thinks he speaks for all with autism

      • Jujube says:

Get a clue- “essentially a genetic disorder?!” you obviously aren’t up on the latest, largest twin study by Hallmeyer et al. Which shows environment to be more important.

      • Trashaddict says:

Jujube, please post a link: I can’t find the study you’re talking about, although I see it referenced. Anyway, there’s also plenty of research out there about genetic components of autism, so please tone down the “get a clue” language. The language is insulting to those of use who have a stake in the causes and are trying to learn about this disorder. See this link (just one):

    • Sassy says:

You are so correct. I don’t think there is a medical term “undiagnosed”.

  11. serena says:

She’s an idiot, bragging about everything all the time.

  12. lisa says:

I have seen her in interviews and she is vulgar.. the thing is so are her friends. I see a terrible trend. The Jenny M, and Chealsea Handlers of the world. They look so less when you compare them to a Tina F or Amy P. Funny does not have to be so vulgar. I am sure the story about the dentist is true. Whenever I catch her in an interview she always.. always goes to that place.

I’m sure Jim did give her money. If he had not she would have sued despite what she says. And why doesn’t she talk about the child’s father. Why is he not involved. Is he the actual father? I always wondered about that. I don’t follow her, but I have not seen any pictures of the child with his father.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

I agree, Lisa. I do think that if something is funny and happens to be vulgar, then funny overrides any possibility to be offended (for me at least). The problem with Handler and McCarthy is that they use vulgar in lieu of ACTUAL humor. It’s just a crutch for them, an easy way to get quick laughs and not clever at all.

    • Minty says:

I used to think Pamela Anderson was the tackier of the two until I kept hearing the things that came out of Jenny’s mouth. Jenny equates being crude with being funny. And the way she always stuck out her tongue, ugh.

She’s also a perfect example of why it’s a bad idea to listen to celebrities who think they are experts on health matters, etc. They don’t have the scientific training, just anecdotal evidence.

Pam may dress like a ten-dollar hooker, but she champions animal rights, seems to be a good mother, and pays her own way. She’s classy when compared to Jenny.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

@ Minty- If you are in the public eye and you’re essentially a self-appointed “spokesman” for a cause, wouldn’t you think the first course of action would be to thoroughly RESEARCH the cause you purport to represent????
        smh…

      • Minty says:

        @TheOriginalKitten:

Yup. A reasonable person would think that way. It’s safe to say that Jenny McCarthy is not a reasonable creature.

  13. lw says:

Can we just stop with the Jenny posts every day? She hasn’t been beyond D-list in a very, VERY long time.

  14. brin says:

She’s repulsive. I feel sorry for her child.

    • the original bellaluna says:

+1 That poor kid. Give him to me; I’ll love him and keep him off blast. He’ll have a little bro; 2 big bros; a big sis; and 2 cats who are absolute attention. whores.

  15. Kim1 says:

If he gave her some money its gone she wouldnt be working so much if she had $20 M sitting in the bank. She would work on 1 project not 3 Or 4.So is she saying her so no longer has autism or never had it?

  16. Jo says:

@cody #7 – I think the days of her being 30-something are either over or just about over.

  17. mln76 says:

Didn’t her ex-husband(who she also trashed publicly but who probably isn’t that bad) come forward and say how grateful he is for all that Jim’s done for Evan? That translated to me that there was some form of a settlement or trust in Evan’s name. It’s possible that Jenny can’t touch some or all of it or that she’s burned through whatever Jim gave her and is now bitter about it what she no longer has.
I bet between whatever child support she gets from her ex and what Jim gave her she could live comfortably but she’s a drama queen/attention whore who likes to live like a high roller.

  18. Adrien says:

    Oh stop!

  19. bored says:

She’s had some bad work done lately on her face. Better a few wrinkles than looking like some wierd rubber creature.

    • ZZZ says:

I saw a few minutes of her show last night, and her cheeks kinda looked like Jada’s ~ WAY too pronounced. And with the excessive makeup, she looked old and overdone.

  20. pwal says:

I’m sorry, but even if Jim gave Evan $25,000, it would’ve been generous. After all, he wasn’t the bio father – hell, he wasn’t even the stepfather.

    • mary simon says:

Thank you. Jim Carrey is not obligated to support Jenny and her child from her marriage. Nor is he obligated to maintain a life long relationship with her son, even though it is very sad that the boy misses him. She should be damn glad if he gave her some $ and quit bitching that it wasn’t enough – any $ he may have given her is more than he was ever obligated to give.

      • Rhea says:

ITA. And why she keeps on complaining that she’s a single mom? You’re not the only single mom, Jen!!!

I don’t see any of the single mom I know start opening their clothes to get a money. And they never bragging their status as a single mom in a way like begging for others to feel pity. Geeezz….

  21. bagladey says:

I don’t like where she’s going with these interviews and she’s sounds shady. She and JC have been done for a while now and he’s not related to her son and was never legally bound to her so why is she dragging him out into all of this? Can’t she get press on her own w/o the mention of her connection to Jim Carrey, and was her comment about her men wearing her make-up also directed at Jim?

    • Alexis says:

I read the makeup comment as being a subtle dig at Jim (and her other exes, but c’mon, who cares about them?)

    • Kate says:

i agree with you on this. and the way she responded to the question about the $ it seems like she def got some… just not 25 mil. there’s no need to bad mouth your ex publicly, show some class.

    • fatkid says:

      ^^^THIS^^^
My little sister is a single mom with two kids working at walmart. If she can do it without complaining so can this chick. She needs to take a hint from real-world single moms that focus on the love & blessings their children are instead of publicly calling it a hardship. Your child will hear about this and to the child it means you think they are a hardship/burden, something no child should believe.
      End rant.

    • fatkid says:

Sorry trying to reply to Rhea. Stupid phone!

  22. Cathy says:

I still believe she has a strange shaped head. I can’t quite put my finger on the right word, but it’s wierd.

    • pwal says:

I’m tellin’ ya… she looks like Syndrome from The Incredibles.

The (crazy) eyes, the teeth, the chin, although hers is pointier.

      It’s Syndrome.

    • Karen says:

She’s got a massive underbite, that’s what. Her lower row of teeth stick way out, giving her that scary jawline. FFS, get it fixed!

  23. lucy2 says:

So…this kid has a dad, right? Unless he’s truly living in a van, I would assume he’s responsible for some child support.
Acting like she’s broke when she’s clearly not and lots of people really are is gross.
Her face is looking freakish. She was pretty at one point, but now she just looks weird.

    • EmmaStoneWannabe says:

Agree. How can you be a millionaire (at whatever level)/Hwood socialite and joke that you’re so poor? Being so dramatic/insensitive makes her unlikeable. She may be D-list, but she’s not hurting for cash or men knocking on her door.

  24. Eleonor says:

But why is she talking about Jim Carrey money, and not about the money she is supposed to get from Evan’s father??

  25. Nonny says:

    Not aging well is she?

  26. Alexis says:

This broad is such a bully. All she does is drag Jim Carrey down and exploit her son. It only makes things worse that the child is autistic (or has some other type of issue that she refuses to acknowledge) and that Jim was dealing with serious mental health problems towards the end of their relationship. She’s just gross.

  27. Blue says:

She needs to stop stop talking now. UGh she is so insufferable and the more she talks the more I want to punch her in her rubbery face. SMH.

    • EmmaStoneWannabe says:

I dont know if that would feel better or worse than a normal punch; all those fillers would probably reject the punch and throw it right back.

  28. johnnybadboytapia says:

Sorry Jenny,I will have to decline your invitation to your pity party.

  29. Anne says:

Why so many posts about this has-been?
If there is a need for posts about a McCarthy,I would rather see posts about her cousin, Melissa McCarthy, who actually has talent.

    • pwal says:

Well… we’re not going to get Melissa McCarthy posts because she’s happily married, happily mothering her children, and happily pursuing her career which is pretty much on course.

Plus, Melissa seems like an appreciative person who is still awestruck by her recent good fortune.

    • Mitch Buchanan Rocks! says:

I didn’t know Melissa McCarthy was Jenny’s cousin and I agree Melissa would be a better choice of coverage than JM.

    • Bobby sue says:

In that vein, why so many posts about Leann Rimes or Lindsay Lohan or Kim Kardashian?? Media is littered with famewhores of all types riding the wave of attention and money. And we, the greater public, click on the posts so we can bitch about them.

      • the original bellaluna says:

Pointing out the obvious, it detracts from the tedium and/or our own problems.

      • OriginalTiffany says:

Total tedium for me. I’m always in a new city, not always wanting to go out on my own, rains a lot and I have maid and meals.

I’ve got to do laundry and kid limo service. I get bored. Therefore I bitch:) Quite happily.

      • the original bellaluna says:

OTiff, I should have my new car by tomorrow night!!!! OH, TO NOT BE STUCK IN PODUNK NOWHERE 18 HOURS A DAY!!!!!! And I am TOTALLY hiring a maid! (I’ll pick her ass up and drop her off if necessary – I actually had to TAKE OFF MY FINGER SPLINT YESTERDAY TO DO THE F*CKING DISHES!! Hubs thinks if he puts in an appearance and brings money he’s fulfilled his obligations.)

I’m sorry. Things have been going to hell in a hand-basket here, and I guess I’m “acting out.” Forgive me.

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@bells, I feel you on that last part. My husband hires someone to do the lawn and his only other job is taking out the trash (which I always end up doing). Family members started a cleaning service, and talked me into letting them come every other week, but they got lazy and started doing less and asking for more money (so I relieved them of their duties). I’d love to hire legit help so it isn’t all on my shoulders 🙁

@tiff, that sounds great! A car service, meal service, laundry and maid?

      • the original bellaluna says:

Mort, I actually told hubs “I’m hiring someone.” He can’t (won’t) even hang the fraggle-rockin’ 55 inch wide-screen (which he INSISTED we NEEDED) on the muthaf*ckin’ wall! AND THE HANGING KIT IS SITTING LESS THAN ONE FOOT FROM THE GD TV! And we have a sound bar sitting next to that!!!!

I told him I’m hiring a handy-man to do everything and a carpet cleaner and a painter, and HE can pay for it!

If your sole responsibility consists of showing up and bringing money, you can pay for it, BITCH!

(I know, I’m an evil bitter bitch today. Things are rapidly going south in BellaLand.)

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

@bells, If I didn’t know better, I’d swear we were married to the same man! My husband has yet to mount one of our flat screens (that we didn’t need) and we’ve had it for over a year! I’ve also been asking him to use the stud finder and drywall screws to mount our very heavy wedding pictures. We will have been married for 7 years this month and he still hasn’t gotten around to it! I think I’ll just pay a handyman and tell him I did it, so he won’t botch about me spending money 😉

      • the original bellaluna says:

Damn, Mort, we’re “Sister Wives”!! But we’ll be married for 11 years THIS MONTH! (if we make it.) 🙁

Anyhoodle, my attitude has developed into a finely-honed “If you’re just putting in an appearance and bringing cash home, Ima use it to pay someone to do the shit you think you’re too busy to do.”

Since he’s f*ck-deficient, it works. FOR NOW.

  30. Brooke says:

Why do i find it so funny that when i google images of this Urlacher character, some of the first are of him with Paris Hilton?

  31. valleymiss says:

I hate this skank. She’s always been obnoxious and annoying, but as soon as she went after Jim for not being in contact with her son (why does she act like bio dad doesn’t exist?), my hate for her grew tenfold. She’s awful.

  32. Chatcat says:

This whack job is nothing but trash. She needs to be left out by the curb for Monday morning pick up…and not the recycle trash either.

  33. Jilliterate says:

Hate this cow. Now that Andrew Wakefield’s original anti-vaccine article has been officially declared BS by the British courts, she looks like the idiot we all knew she was. I guess crying poor about being a single mom is the new load of garbage she’s trying to sell us.

    • Jujube says:

Nice try, jilliterate. His (Wakefield’s) colleague was actually just reinstated with his (Walker-Smith) practice? Why? Because the GMC was found to be basically corrupt and had no integrity in their with hunt, I mean process. The highest court judge ruled on that about two months ago. Sorry of the truth pisses you off.

    • Jujube says:

Wom” or kwom, notice too how the high court judge said it would be a “shame if this were to result again” (unfair trial by GMC) and that a person familiar with judicial process should be involved next time. The decision against Drs Wakefield, W-S etc. we’re unlawful. “There was inadequate and superficial reasoning and in a number of instances a wrong conclusion.” if that ain’t a huge slap on the GMC I don’t know what is! Now go spout your angle to our fellow science-bloggers.

  34. lassie says:

I have never understood the appeal of Jenny McCarthy. I remember reading an article about her that called her “Don Knotts with breast implants” or something of that nature. What a horrible insult to Don Knotts. She has no class.

  35. kpist says:

The dark makeup looks like a raccoon. Also, I thought it was rude when she said, “I just want a guy that doesn’t borrow my makeup”. She is making herself look bad with all these interviews. She’s actually making me feel sorry for Jim Carey

  36. Kandace says:

She looks like a bat. Kind of like how Nicole Kidman can look. She was pretty, but now she looks like the catwoman person who got too much plastic surgery.

  37. eric says:

She got a huge chunk of money from Carrey,I’m sure it’s closer to 20 million instead of 5. Everyone in Hollywood knows he’s mentally unstable. I’m just glad he finally stopped drinking the spiked cool-aid and quit that Scientology robot.

  38. Embee says:

What she says about Jim and child support and being the sole breadwinner and the stress of all that…it’s not all that bad if she was talking to her friend. But that she does so in a context where everyone will read it is uncomfortable.

I may be overly sympathetic to her as a single mom who also receives no support (despite court orders and agreements). I identify with the srying, feeling like a bad mom, being scared because I’m the only breadwinner… I could also understand the hurt and frustration in losing Jim as a positive in her son’s life. I would bitch about it too…to my girlfriends and while acknowledging that it is my fault for promotoing a relationship between my child and a boyfriend.

So, yeah. This conversation would not be all that bad if conducted on my deck with margaritas, but here it’s just so ick.

  39. TheOriginalKitten says:

This is like a textbook case of arrested development. This woman (I use the term losely) has a child. Why on earth is her biggest priority getting attention for her looks? Get over it, Jenny. Seems like her whole self-worth is tied into getting attention from men. Very sad imo.

  40. JessL says:

Enough with the single mom comments!!! I I HaTE when anyone plays that card! Working and/ or single mom…. Then don’t be a mom! And wtf with the reverse Autism dx? Je magically doesn’t have it? Misdx!!! That and MC kept her around long after her expiration date. Has she really “done” anything since ‘Singled Out’? Which btw…. I did like when I was 14. 🙂

    • Bobby sue says:

You’re an idiot. Women don’t always choose to be single mothers from the outset. Life happens. Husbands die, father’s abandon families. What bubble do you live in? Get a clue.

  41. Darlene says:

Since when do we have to blur out the outline of a woman’s nipple under her clothes? OMG a NIPPLE SHAPE!!!

They’re not nude, I find it odd to blur it.

  42. Bobby sue says:

She’s a little outrageous (which garnered her fans in the beginning of her career) and maybe a little too botoxed but I’ve always liked Jenny.

As a single mom, who has struggled financially and with a child with special needs, I am not offended by her comments. In fact, it is nice to know there are celebrities and beauties who have issues just like everyone else. She’s always been outspoken, so this is not out of character for her! And, how do you know what her financials are like?? Let us single moms band together and stop judging her.

    • Isa says:

She still makes a crap ton more money than you do. If she is struggling financially then perhaps ahe should look for ways to lower her bills and cost of living. She still has enough money to get awful plastic surgery. I think she uses the single mom label to be more relatable but her finances are probably better than 95% of single mothers. Of course, like you said I don’t know her finances (I’m sure Evan’s care is expensive) so I’m just guessing.

      • Jujube says:

Isa I wouldn’t be surprised if she actually gave a lot of her money away to autism causes. People are being very cruel to her but hey, I guess it makes them feel better and bigger. Sad but true.

  43. C says:

Can she stop talking about Jim? My lord!!!!! Just stop!
For a 40 year old woman she acts like a an annoying little girl.
Also wayyyyy tooooo much Botox on forehead. Hard to look at and when she talks it’s painful to watch her

  44. Palermo. says:

I have never liked this woman, everything about her is vile.

  45. Snowflake says:

I think she looks so good with the angled bob haircut. better than w the long hair.

  46. Tim Whatley says:

Yeah, you know, you are a bad mom Jenny. Good parents (incl. dads and moms) don’t pose nude in Playboy. I suppose there are some economically challenged souls who strip to pay the bills, but I think Jen is doing this for ego…happy teen years, Evan!

  47. CM says:

How is Jenny cash-strapped, and why would she take money from Jim Carrey? I think I read on IMDB, that her ex-husband is the son of William Asher (who directed ‘I Love Lucy’, and later went on to own a piece of ‘Bewitched’). So, wouldn’t her ex-husband have enough money to provide for her son all by himself?

  48. Dee Cee says:

She is her own messed-up, superficial, illogical worst enemy…

  49. Ck says:

Was I the only one who thought about jims being homeless when he was a kid in the “van” reference? He lived in a car with his dad, from what I can recall 🙁

    • It is ME!! says:

If that is true, then she is being a massive bitch.

Jenny, please take several seats, if not for you, for your son.

      Kthanxbai.

    • skuddles says:

You’re not alone Ck, I thought exact same thing too and it made me think she’s kind of an a-hole.

  50. MST says:

If she is so broke, how can she afford a publicist?

She’s the kind of woman who will never be poor because she knows how to get money from men. I’ve never had that ability — some of the guys I’ve dated have even asked ME for money!

  51. Happy21 says:

I can’t stand this fu**ing woman!! I used to think she was cute and now I cannot stand her. She is a piece of shit bitch. Who the hell does she think she is? I’m living in a van by the river – SNL reference or not is freaking brutal. Maybe if she wasn’t so full of plastic she might have some extra coin.

Her nose looks like crap and it has totally changed since her and Jim were together. She looks awful.

I want her to go away and fast before I blow my freakin’ top!!

  52. Jay says:

If the $50 million (or whatever amount it really was) was a trust for Evan then she could rightly say SHE didn’t get it, but that would be somewhat insincere. So if you want to talk non-denials, she didn’t actually address whether there was any trust.

  53. fabgrrl says:

So annoying! Does her kid even have a father? We never hear about him. Is he out of the picture? or does he simply choose not to pimp out their son for money and publicity? Jenny McCarthy publicly lambasts Jim Carrey for not continuing a relationship with her kid? The boy does have an actual father, and that relationship trumps Mom’s ex-bf any day. So, what does Jenny McCarthy do for Jim Carrey’s daughter, hm? SHE is a single mom with a young baby (I think). JC’s daughter must have been a teen when they got together, so how much did Jenny McCarthy give to HER trust fund?

  54. Isa says:

Perhaps she should look for ways to lower her bills and cost of living. She still has enough money to get awful plastic surgery. I think she uses the single mom label to be more relatable but her finances are probably
better than 95% of single mothers. I’m sure Evan’s care is expensive but geez!
Oh and I thought the rumor was thhat Jim set up a 25 million trust for Evan. So maybe she’s just being elusive.

  55. iseepinkelefants says:

I might be the only one but when they got together I was like wow you couldn’t find two people more alike. I was sad when I heard that it ended because they seemed so perfect for each other.

Why would Carey give her money? It doesn’t make any sense.

And her son does have a father. I don’t know what role he plays but in her book (when she was pregnant) he seemed hands on. I’m sure he has to give her money. She’s not exactly “struggling” I’m sure. Although maybe she can’t afford a nanny so she considers herself a “working mom” because of that. Boo hoo.

    • fabgrrl says:

I believe that when they got together, Jim Carrey made it clear that he would never marry her. Jenny McCarthy didn’t want to be left high and dry when/if they broke up so they worked out a financial deal – in lieu of the alimony she would get had they married and divorced. Which seems like a pretty smart move on Jenny’s part. All she ever really had going for her was her looks, which she knew would fade by the time she hit 40, and she probably wouldn’t be able to nab a rich husband after that.

  56. mia says:

She is funny. And she should have gotten a chunk of money for dating His Royal Weirdness Jim Carrey. Too bad.

    Haters need to lighten up!
Chickas gots ta have some fun too.

  57. Shelly says:

I like her hair in the purple dress pic (in the middle pic, NOT the top pic). That’s the only nice thing I got. She just BUGS me in all the wrong ways.

  58. Lissa says:

I think I’m more offended at her giving that poor baby a most unflattering haircut, weird little Johnny Depp glasses and those terribly girly Ugg boots!

  59. TC says:

    Yeah.. but… great tits.

  60. Denise says:

Black pantyhose. That is all the information I need.

  61. Jules says:

    Google Jenny McCarthy Body Count.

  62. Carla says:

Can she ho away? Please don’t pose for playboy. We don’t wanna see u naked. Get over yourself. No one over 30 should pose nude for the public. Ugh. Go away!!!

  63. Jordan says:

I’m sure she “accidentally” sent the nudie pic to the dentist…looking for a sugar daddy, maybe? She disgust me…anything for a check, including using her son.

  64. sarahtonin says:

I’m not playing the game with this one anymore. Even though she shits me to tears and I could rant for hours, I’m not talking about her after this. Every time she says something, we all fall for it and starting discussing it. Even if it is universally condemning her, she’s getting exactly what she wanted- people talking about her, and that increases interest in whatever money spinner she has going. This trick is particularly offensive and doesn’t deserve to have anyone listening to what she has to say, let alone make a cent more than a stripper for flashing her snatch. So, I’m not going to encourage it by perpetuating conversations about her. Hopefully, if no one shows interest in her she will fade away into obscurity and stop filling people’s heads with dangerous crap.

  65. Original Lucy says:

I think Jim paid Jenny some hush money…a deal that she wouldn’t write/talk about the personal details of their relationship…cause you know if he didnt, she would have written a book, and gone on interview after interview about everything from their sex life to how he flossed his teeth…because she usually has no filter and her not spilling every freaking detail smacks of shut up money!

  66. ViloDeMenus says:

Jim gave her a lump sum, a large sum, part of it in a trust for her son about 18 months before she dumped him. She never has to work again, and she could live comfortably. It’s not that hard to find the info. Plus, the kids father is a multi-millionaire, this is California, he pays child support, a huge check plus half of her sons medical needs until he is 18. The trust was for Evans post 18 life as his father is repulsed by the kid and has no contact with him. Carey was taking care of his special needs, and he has them in spades.
