Every time I see new photos of Princess Charlene, I get a stronger Princess Diana vibe. Especially now that Charlene has short, Diana-esque hair, and especially now that Charlene is telegraphing her depression during royal photo-ops with children. It really is Diana-esque.
Anyway, these are some new photos of Charlene and Prince Albert at two events – one is the now annual Monaco event, Monacology, which Albert started to highlight science and technology in Monaco – Charlene looked super-depressed at that event. The second was The Monaco Ambassadors Club honoring Roger Moore. Charlene looked a bit perkier for that one, but that was probably because she got to hang out with Roger Moore, because who doesn’t want to hang out with James Bond? Roger is old as dirt, and Charlene was acting extra friendly to him – good girl. Maybe Roger Moore will help her escape.
Anyway, there’s a complete dearth of Monaco royal news these days. No one is sniping about Charlene being an “embarrassment” and no one is even talking about the state of her womb. Is the royal-watcher community just flat-out ignoring Charlene at this point? Poor Charlene. She can’t even get people interested in her “ESCAPE?” face.

She does look so unhappy. It makes my heart sad. I get the feeling, that at the end of the day, she goes into her room and cries in her pillow. She just looks so miserable. I guess I would to, if I had to be married to a womanizer, cold and distant man. There’s no amount of money anyone could pay me for that kind of life.

Look we can all feel bad for her but she was in a relationship for a long time. She knew who he was. She still married him for whatever her reasons. Hope she finds an escape route or something.

I think she’s pregnant and feeling like curling up in bed instead of dressing up for an event. Add nausea and you have a miserable face. I’ve seen photos of her smiling and having a good time at other events.

OMG she must be doped to the eyeballs and the Palace must have one of those “private Hollywood doctors” who can prescribe anything. Her family must be desperate back home in Africa when they see pictures of her.
I don’t feel sorry for her. She chose a sleezy middle-aged prince over happiness. I bet she is trying with all her might to get pregnant to secure her place and her financial future.
When I googled past images of her she looked amazing in a lot of the pics. She definitely has a good sense of fashion. However, since her marriage all I see is matronly outfits. That dress is horrific.
Wow, I can FEEL her sadness when I look at these pictures. Not a fan of the outfit. I know blondes think they look amazing and sophisticated in whites and beiges, but it usually just makes them look washed out.
I hope she’s pregnant rather than terribly depressed.

I honestly think the plastic surgeries have something to do with her not being able to properly express any emotion.
Her face is so full of botox that every smile seems like a grimace and she looks like she’s in pain when she gives a big smile. I’d be looking anxious and scared too if I can’t move my face.
I think the other photos of her looking nervous/sick are just that: she’s nervous. I don’t think she’s gotten the hang of attending royal events and meeting VIPs just yet. She looks more at ease when attending other events like tennis matches, swimming competitions, and when she’s interacting with children.
That one photo of her looking faraway looks more sleepy and dreamy than sad and depressed.
I don’t think she’s pregnant. She’s had this constipated/depressed/not-feeling-well look about her for the past 5-6 months and that was when the pregnancy speculation started, but so far nothing has happened.
She needs to lay off the plastic surgeries, botox, lip injections, and whatever else she’s doing to herself. She looks cartoonish.
I would give her this, though: she’s always appeared warm towards children and seems interested enough in her royal duties. She’s actually out there working, whether she accompanies Albert or she performs her own events.

Are you crazy?! She was at an event two nights ago and she looked happier than ever and tonight she posed with Eva Longoria at the Monte Carlo tv awards and looked very happy. Enough with the bs runaway bride story already. She dated Albert for six years, its not like this was an arranged marriage.
Isn’t she a free citizen? Why would she not have the right to marry/not marry on her own? Did they threaten to imprison her or murder her family?
