At first I thought Brad Pitt was wearing a normal suit in these photos. But he’s not. It’s a Western-style suit, but it’s still kind of beautiful on him. Like, Cowboy Couture by Tom Ford or something. That’s one of Brad’s strengths – he makes most outfits look like Tom Ford, even when they’re a hokey “cowboy” costume. These are photos from the London set of The Counselor, that Ridley Scott movie in which Michael Fassbender plays the lead guy. We had Fassy photos (from the London set) last week – go here to see the Fassy-goodness. Fassy was going commando under HIS suit. I don’t think Brad Pitt is going commando under his.
The Counselor is based on the book by Cormac McCarthy, and the film is being directed by Ridley Scott. Scott got this film a really quick turn-around, it feels like. The project was announced, and suddenly Fassbender was attached and Brad was rumored to play a supporting part and there were even casting rumors for Angelina Jolie too. But the Jolie casting didn’t happen, unfortunately. The cast now includes Fassy, Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem (this is Javi’s second McCarthy adaptation since his Oscar-winning performance in No Country For Old Men), and John Leguizamo. This is the second time Fassy has worked with Ridley – they did Prometheus together. This is also the second time Brad and Ridley have worked together – Thelma & Louise, remember? It’s funny to me that Brad is basically playing another cowboy-hustler in this movie. I haven’t read the McCarthy book (yet), but this is basic plot: “A lawyer finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking.” Fassy is the lawyer.
Should we talk about Brad’s hair? He’s dyed it. And he’s got a ponytail. And it looks greasy. This is basically what my hair looks like at the gym. He’s not really giving it to me here, but I do like him in this shade of blue.

Exactly Birdie. I can never understand why people seem to think he should look forever 21, and then criticize him cuz he doesn’t. Compared to the general population at 49, he looks great to me. Oh, and as for his hair . . . it was probably styled that way by the make-up dept. for the movie, I would guess.
I think he is totally working the look. After all it is for the “character”. I think people get so use to actors looking the same in film after film. Brad always changes it up. Looking different in each film for each role. I love that about him. And the man has an amazing body. I think his character in this films is “smarmy” so the greasy hair and bling fits.
Can’t wait. Brad has not had a miss on film these last few years. And his swagger is HOT AS HELL

One thing though…I can’t believe he’s working when Jolie is filming Maleficent. So much for the two of them not working at the same time…I mean Jolie has kept up on her promise…she’s averaged less than 1 live action film a year since 2006 (including ITLOBAH)….whereas Pitt does slightly less than 1.5 movies a year.

Brad’s beard & haIr are dyed for this role from being blonder/grey. Aniston is a brunette who drowns in dye every week to try & look blonde. Angle, Brad and their bio kids are natural blondes. Knox’s reddish blonde seems closest to Brad’s shaved head in Mr & Mrs Smith.
Based on what book by Cormac McCarthy? I love his books, he’s a terrific writer, but I never heard of any book by hiim called “The Counselor”.
Not a book, it’s an original screenplay by McCarthy and saw it described as ‘No Country for Old Men’ on steroids! (at Collider, I think.)
Brilliant cast, also now includes Rosie Perez. Personally, really glad Jolie didn’t make the final cast as I hate how anything she’s involved in becomes all about her. Ditto Pitt, who I can take or leave, but Fassbender, Bardem, Cruz, Diaz and Perez is an awesome mix. Can’t wait to see this.
Good cast. If McCarthy wrote the screenplay it should be outstanding. Definitely watching this one.

Brad was in NOLA working on Twelve Years a Slave a few weeks ago. He shot for a few days. This is a movie he is also Producing. So in addition it would make sense to go and check on things. He then took a small role in The Counselor. Shooting for 3 days. So hardly taxing. and sense he is not the STAR of the movie and it is shooting in the same place the family is staying not a big deal.
and I’m sure their children are doing something. But since we are not seeing the kids nobody knows. Which goes against all the people like you that love to scream that they are pimping their kids.

Brad looks great here, he just has IT and will always have IT. This film is said to be set in the American Southwest along the Texas Border it appears in El Paso. Brad is dressed and styled appropriately from his role to me.
Brad was in NOLA for a few days only a month ago as was Fassy both working in TYAS in supporting roles(Brad is also a producer on TYAS as you pointed out). Brad worked only a few days and then was back in the UK with his family. Angelina has had breaks from filming as some of her Maleficent film is focused on the young Maleficent and other actors are in those scenes.
Sometimes adjustments have to be made to schedules by Brad and Angelina I am sure like all people have to do so. As to any WWZ reshoots those are not scheduled until Oct I read after Angelina completes Maleficent.
The youngest kids are now 4 years old and all are likely in some type of summer camp activities like many kids are.
Facts are facts and Brad has been so lucky to be mostly home with his kids in the UK for months. Most parents would love to have this luxury and the ability to exert some control over their working lifes.

It’s summer, probably they have teachers, probably they don’t right now. Also, maybe they have visitors there you know? They have other relatives who can help with the children for a while… Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins…we really do not know their dynamics? Why so worried about them? The twins are already of school age, anyway, they don’t have tiny babies anymore. Anyway, even if they are working at the same time for a few days or even weeks, you cannot compare their jobs to a regular jpb.
Impotant actor can get to have their children staying around the tailer or set, since they have so many hours to prepare scenes, then their schedules are irregular, meaning they can work for days and then have some time off… And when the movie is finished, they can have time off and get ready to travel for promotion, which is not a regular job either. Their children probably spends waaaay more time with them than with parents with regular jobs.
There is nothing attractive about Brad pitt, and he looks his damn age too 49.

They are living in an ultra secure guard gated community outside London in the English countryside near Pinewood studio. There have been sightings of them out and about with and without the kids, but they are being left along in peace by most people. Paps/rats/roaches have not been able to freely chase/stalk them as paps do in LA and NYC.
There will be pics when they are no longer living in peaceful serenity and privacy.

Brad Pitt is an ACTOR and Actors slip into roles, they pretend to be other people and in that case they tend to look different. I know, there are some people, who also call themselves actors, but they are always themselves. It is not very clever to mix up the role with the real person.
It’s also a shame, that this has to be explained to some people.
Some people watch a movie, because they think an actor is hot. I prefer a movie which tells a good story and which has actors known for their fine acting.
And if it was me somebody would call an alcoholic, they sure would be fined for that. 😀
