Everyone hates rage monster Alec Baldwin, even East Hampton churchgoers

Alec Baldwin is a rage monster. He will yell obscenities at children. He will threaten to “gut, stab and kill” Harvey Levin. He will physically assault photographers. He will RAGE RAGE RAGE RAGE at anyone and anything. He is Alec Baldwin: The Incarnate of Rage. So what happens when Ragey McIWILLSTABYOU goes to church and tries to sermonize a bit? Well, some East Hampton churchgoers are about to get a beatdown. For real.

For most, a Sunday church service is a moment for peace, worship and reflection — unless Alec Baldwin is in your congregation. Sources tell us that some of the parishioners at Most Holy Trinity Parish in East Hampton are so sick of Baldwin’s blustering that a group stood up and turned their backs on the hot-tempered star as he gave a reading from the pulpit.

A source told us of the protesting parishioners on July 29: “Alec loves to be the center of attention and often reads from the pulpit, which really annoys some in the congregation. It is so bad that, one recent Sunday, he went up to read, and part of the congregation stood and rudely turned their backs on him.”

The source said, “Even though he has generously given a lot of money to the town, there are people who just don’t like him. He has a need for attention and shows up at every event. When people go to the church, they don’t want to see the movie star up there.”

Another source suggested that those who turned their backs were staunch Republicans who disagreed with outspoken Baldwin’s liberal views.

Baldwin, who has an eight-acre spread in East Hampton, and new wife, Hilaria Thomas, are regular parishioners at the church, of which he’s a generous benefactor. Last year, he donated a set tour of “30 Rock” to a church fund-raising auction.

Rev. Donald Hanson, the pastor, told Page Six, “Alec Baldwin reads from time to time at the church, and read again on Sunday two weeks ago.” Asked about parishioners who turned their backs, Hanson said, “I was told that happened, but I did not personally witness it, as another priest was saying the Mass.”

And about the reason for the public protest, he added, “I am not going to comment, as I wasn’t there.”

A representative for Baldwin said, “Alec was focused on the prayers, so he has no way of knowing if this happened. But does someone violating the sanctity of a church even deserve a response?”

[From Page Six]

Granted, I’m not a Catholic, but does every single thing that happens within a church have “sanctity”? I thought that was just for the confessional. I’m pretty sure any parishioner can tell Page Six what went down during the service.

So, while I think it’s nice that Alec donates so much money to the church (The Rage Monster is trying to buy his way into heaven?), I have to think that Alec is going to have some kind of meltdown this Sunday. And does anyone else feel bad for his new wife Hilaria?

Call me evil but I don’t feel bad for Hilaria. She knows exactly what she is getting herself into, she seems like the type that will milk him dry, but only time will tell. And why is she always sitting on his lap? It makes him look even older lol

Reading in front of a congregation is not sermonizing.

I’m no longer a Christian, but goodness, if I had a nickel for every obnoxious person who participated at eh front part of the church during Mass, I would be very rich indeed.

Hahaha I’m right around the corner from the place in the last photo! Weird.

I agree he is a rage monster but reading a scripture at your church isn’t a bad thing. That was rude of them to turn their backs, church is not the place for politics if that was the reason for the gesture. If it was to show him that they don’t like him they could have pick another venue. This is why am not religious people doing stuff like this in a holy place, how gross.

Also, Hilira( I can’t with that name) looks like one of his kids. That picture of her sitting on his lap with his daughter next to them is beyond creepy. I don’t feel bad for her. She’ll pop out a kid and be set for life. She is obviously a gold digger who knew going in what he is all about. From a yoga instructor to a 8 acre spread in the Hamptons….yea she is sitting real pretty right now. Lol

As irritating as they might find him-I don’t think Jesus would have approved of how they acted. Especially in a church. And reading a passage from the bible-which is all a “non priest” is going to be able to do any way during a Catholic mass, is not remotely sermonizing. That said, he’s still a pig and she’s out for his money.

The mass itself is sacred so anything that is part of the mass is sacred by extension.

I’m pretty sure that Hilaria is the last person on earth that I would feel sorry for. His personality is not a secret and gold diggers get exactly what they deserve.

True. But is depends on the church, not all Catholics are exactly alike much like the other religions some are far more conservative than others. I grew up in a very liberal diocese, that considered every form of worship as a praise to God and welcomed all. But now in live in an extremely conservative diocese that is all about what is proper. Even as a life long catholic (12 years of prestigious catholic school even) I was turned away from 6 churches when i sought to have my son baptized because i was unmarried. It was disheartening.

I almost felt sorry for her until I saw these pictures. WTH is she wearing??

I would be annoyed if he was being dramatic while reading but they should be focused on the message not the reader. That’s just ill-mannered.

And I’m Catholic and don’t agree with Balwin politically. I was just raised right lol!!

I know somebody who goes to church with Billy Baldwin and his wife Chynna Phillips in Santa Barbara. Apparently they show up with coffee like 15 minutes before the service is over, and sometimes Chynna lays down in the pew to nap while she’s there.

Ireland is spectacularly beautiful!!!!!…..His wife seems to want to make her power felt by sitting on his lap which is totally inappropriate to the situation. Poor Ireland!! And her outfit……the PITS!!!! tacky, vulgar, TRASHY. EMBARRASSING. Im sure Ireland and her girlfriend were having a good laugh about that outfit after “dad” and his tiny twinkie left!!!

So often it’s the people that are flaunting their spirituality who are the farthest from what they are saying. And the people who are quietly observing their religion are the ones who are truly spiritual.

Reminds me of the expression “Street Saint; House Devil”.

Alec has some nerve getting up in any church given what we know about him and his issues with anger. Seems like he could really benefit by sitting quietly and be a little humble and truly face himself. But no, he has to be a friggin *star* even in church. Pathetic.

Is anyone else laughing at the image of parishioners in a Mass “turning their backs” on Alec speaking from the pulpit? I would understand if they just walked out cause they’re sick of him, but did they really just turn their backs? What did they do then—stare or pull faces at the people in the pews behind them? The very idea strikes me as Hilaria.

Someone here said that golddiggers get exactly what they deserve — no, they don’t, they get more, even by definition. But if the parishioners had any respect for HER, they wouldn’t have turned their backs on her new husband, now, would they? Yes, do pity Ireland. And — anyone notice the look on Ridicula’s face when she’s walking behind and Ireland is walking closer to Alec than she is?
