Despite her insistance on rolling with Xenu, I have a great deal of affection for Elisabeth Moss, mostly because I am a West Wing fanatic (she played first daughter Zooey Bartlett) and because I adore Mad Men (she’s so awesome on Mad Men). I’m also a defender of Lizzie Moss’s “look” in a general way – I think she gets a lot of unfair criticism for not being “Hollywood pretty”. I’ve always thought she was pretty, though – as Don Draper once said of Peggy, “You know you’re cute as hell.” I’ve always known Moss as a brunette (although she has veered into honey/dirty blonde before) – but here are some new photos of her at last night’s premiere of For A Good Time Call…, debuting her new platinum-blonde locks.
So, what do you think? I don’t think they suit her at all. I would be fine if she just wanted to lighten her brunette shade, but I just don’t think she was made to be this kind of blonde. Ugh.
Incidentally, I was pleased to hear that Moss has signed on for two more seasons of Mad Men. After last season, I worried that Peggy was being written off the show, but now I’m holding out hope that Don and Peggy will work together again some day.

Russell typically send his dates the dresses he requires them to wear. He’s pervy. Insanely smart, but pervy. As for the lovely Elizabeth, so glad she’s staying on Mad, but I just can’t with that hair color. It completely washes out her beautiful face.

A dress? I’m a bit lost because I have a shirt that looks just like that, ya know, a shirt that I wear with pants. The first things I noticed was the pit stain!
I like Elizabeth Moss’s hair, it looks good on her. She was the only female character I ever liked on Mad Men, so if they wrote her off the show, that would be a HUGE mistake.

That is most definitely a pit stain. So embarassing and shame on Russell for not helping a sistah out by telling her. Maybe he didn’t notice? My boyfriend always lets me know if I have something in my teeth or if my makeup is effed up. It’s just the nice thing to do.
Moss looks awful with that haircolor-totally washed her out and I actually think it detracts from her eyes. She has an interesting type of beauty-sometimes I think she’s gorgeous and other times I’m just meh about her.
That shade of blonde is all wrong on her.

She was in that AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL excedrin commercial right? I’ve only else seen her in pix and commercials for Mad Men and I definitely thought she was the opposite of attractive (though that previously-mentioned article mightve marred my opinion). However, I think she looks great in these pictures-the best I’ve seen!

There’s something about this girl I have never been able to like. I’m not sure what it is. She’s cute in a way… I kind of like the hair, it brings out her eyes really well. But the other color suited her fine too.

Elizabeth’s hair color is great.
But she needs to use more earthy colors for lip stick.
The shade she is wearing just clashes with her coloring now. It probably looked great with her darker hair. But looks off with the blonde.

I have that same yellowish skin (from being half Amer. Indian) as Elisabeth. And I look just as waxy when I try to go blonde. I can do highlights or “bronde” but yellow girls should not be all over blonde. There should be some deliniation between your skin and hair color!

The blonde color should be 2 shades lighter.
She needs to drop her shoulders, to make her neck appear longer.

Simmons date – That is a TOP, not a dress. It’s one thing to have a Rockin Bod, it’s quite another to know how to dress it appropriately.

I think this is the best that Elizabeth has looked in a long time. Very glam sexy, without the January Jones try hard feel. I think strapless would have been a better choice – I hate those wide straps, but I love the lace and fit of her dress. Her shaggy pixie cut is adorable on her

First thought when someone makes a huge change in color and style…plastic surgery? Did she have a little work done on the nose maybe?
She looks lovely, but she has never been classicly pretty. It takes guts to go short, so good for her, it’s a nice cut and a departure from the bob. The great thing about hair is it grows back!

Suprisingly I really like this color and cut on Elisabeth. Her makeup choice here works really well with the blonde. Seth looks unoriginally stoned. Cripes Russell – I can pretty much see her vadge – what a loser.

I love Elizabeth’s new cut and color. I think this is the best I’ve seen her look.! On another note, Russell Simmons’ date looks like a pretty girl, who isn’t quite sure how to ‘work it’, and Russell seems like the middle-aged horndog willing to exploit her.
