Kathryn Bigelow is fast becoming one of my favourite directors, really loved the Hurt Locker.
    MATT DAMON.
    That is all.

  2. Jessica says:

Madonna’s wax figure looks just like Jenni Garth to me… hhmm….

  3. A says:

Love Jessica Chastain….Really excited for this film.

  4. Lucy2 says:

I’m looking forward to that film.
I agree Jessica, that looks more like Jennie Garth. And still more lifelike than Madonna!
Politician hair swapping is cracking me up.

I watched the debate after Vampire Diaries (DELENA MUST RETURN!!) but stopped halfway through it because it reminded me of Thanksgiving dinner last year where my super conservative Vietnam vet Uncle fought with my 25 year old gay cousin from seattle about the Obama Administration. My uncle was like the Biden of that dinner, rude, overbearing, and more than a little condescending. My cousin bless his heart kept his cool like Paul Ryan did and just stated his position and ate mashed potatoes until someone bravely and repeatedly changed the subject. I cant relive that family experience through political television. I already voted by absentee ballot so im ready for all of this to be over with because I’m tired of politics everywhere.

I cannot believe Stacey Dash is 46. Seriously, that’s not fair. More important though I cant believe Clueless was almost 20 years ago.

    • Brown says:

No politics at Thanksgiving dinner, or at the dinner table in general, is usually a good rule to follow.

      Stacy looks amazing, right??

    • Squitch says:

Yes… except in this case, Paul Ryan is the homophobic conservative one, and Biden is the one that actually wants to allow gay people to get married… good grief.

      • M says:

Im not Democratic or Republican so this comes from a pretty unbiased place: Obama and Biden only support gay marriage because its election year. They have been against it since Obamas views became public back in the 90’s, and your views on that dont just change becuase you met a nice gay couple. Im for gay marriage and I dont appriciate that Obama is violating gay marriage just to get votes. I dont always agree with Romney and Ryan, but at least they are consistant with their views.

      • Jackie says:

M – Whether or not he is changing his view on gay marriage is because it’s an election year, I truly do not know. But it is possible to change your mind over time. I used to be against it, that whole one man, one woman thing and now I am ashamed to say that I used to believe that. So, yes, I think a person can change over time. Now if later he says he’s against it, then we got a problem.

I’ve been suckered in by good trailers many a time. Unfortunately this type of movie is often spoiled by some kind of schmuck romance that Hollywood just has to put in. Personally I hope Bigelow resists that temptation.

  7. Blue says:

Stacey Dash is gorgeous. I always forget she is in her 40’s, when I Googled her a few years ago my jaw hit the floor.

  8. Skipper says:

10 lbs of weed? How do you convince someone to take the fall for that?

  9. Aqua says:

This movie will be heading to the Oscars.Best of luck with it!

  10. Turtle Dove says:

Great movie trailer. Love the burka scene. Kinda turns that cultural tradition on its head… not very halal at all. lol

I am so into Mark Strong. He’s at the top of my list now.

  11. zenb!tch says:

While I am very supportive of Kathryn Bigelow as a woman and someone who enjoyed watching Jim Cameron* get his comeuppance; I won’t be seeing this film. I hate war movies. I didn’t make it through Hurt Locker. I tried twice but I was so bored.

*speaking of movies with stupid romances. From Terminator and Aliens to Titanic and Avatar – Geesh!

Re: Blake Lively, Penny Lively-Reynolds, and The Ring. [LaineyGossip]

I have no comment on Blake Lively, but…Dang! I’d never seen the video for “Cool” by Gwen Stefani. She looks gorgeous with natural makeup and darker hair.

  13. Welldun says:

for those who aren’t really into war flicks but do like Kathryn Bigelow…Point Break! Patrick Swayze never looked hotter

    • Amy says:

Point Break is a classic! I also loved Strange Days. Ralph Fiennes has never looked hotter than as Lenny Nero, as far as I’m concerned. 😉

      • zenb!tch says:

OMG!!! I LOVED Strange Days. That was an awesome film. Point Break same out during the blur of my Keanu fed college life. Keanu was in it so I saw it. I don’t really remember it because my college days really are a pine scented grunge tinged blur.

  14. dee says:

If direct replication of scenes from “Black Hawk Down”, characters expositing about how “bad” they are and Jessica Chastain with a blank expression that I expect is meant to indicate “I’m brooding and conflicted” give you chills, then, yes, the “Zero Dark Thirty” trailer is all kinds of awesome.

  15. Cookie says:

I’m excited to see this movie, even more so because Mark Strong is in it. He’s amazingly hot and a great actor, too.
