Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham gets $21k in plastic surgery, calls her new face ‘worth it’

You can add Teen Mom Farrah Abraham to the list of reality show starlets who opted for plastic surgery makeovers when their fame was waning. (I think that list includes Heidi Montag, obviously, Vienna from The Bachelor, just about every Teen Mom who’s had a boob job, and Bristol Palin.) Farrah got a boob job a while ago and was pretty proud to show them off. She recently dropped an additional $16,000 on a chin implant which she didn’t need and a rhinoplasty, the verdict for which is still out. I think her face looked better before and she has a very fake look now that ages her well beyond her 21 years. It would be sad if she was a likable person at all, but I found her whiny and annoying on Teen Mom. She’s young, she can change, but this is a pretty good look into her priorities. On the bright side maybe she paid for the surgeries by selling her story to In Touch. Here’s more:

After a double procedure — rhinoplasty and a chin implant — and $21,000 spent on three plastic surgeries by the young age of 21, the former Teen Mom cast member tells In Touch, “I finally feel gorgeous.”

21-year-old Teen Mom Farrah Abraham exclusively reveals her new face only in In Touch after going under the knife for two procedures: rhinoplasty and a chin implant.

“I’ve hated my nose since I was 13,” the single mom, who had her first plastic surgery procedure, a breast augmentation, in 2010, tells In Touch. Now, after her latest surgery — performed Oct. 7 in Bal Harbour, Fla., by Dr. Michael Salzhauer, Farrah says she’s thrilled with the results. “I don’t have to hate anything on my face ever again,” she says. “I feel gorgeous!”

And even after spending a total of $21,000 on altering her body ($16,000 on her face and $5,000 on her breasts) Farrah tells In Touch she has no regrets: “I hate that my surgeries cost this much, but it was worth it.”

“There was pain,” admits Farrah, although she insists she “wasn’t insecure” before the surgeries. “But it was very worth it.”

[From In Touch]

Maybe her face will settle, because right now it looks really puffy and weird. In Touch has a profile view of Farrah before and after, and she had a strong chin before. I don’t know why she got a chin implant, it looks bizarre and fake to me.

Here’s what she looked like before: [via Wetpaint]

And of course after:

Apart from the fake bake, I do think she looked better before. I’m not buying that she didn’t do anything to her eyes, either. Her eyes look strange and like they’re sitting differently on her face. I’d like to see more photos though. In reaction to this story I could do a lot of hemming and hawing about why young girls do this to themselves, and how they’re stuck with these new faces for the rest of their lives. In my time we just got regrettable tattoos, and we had the foresight not to get them on our faces or necks. In Farrah’s case I don’t really consider her a cause worth fretting over. I hope her daughter is ok and well cared for, though. Farrah’s mom is a nasty piece of work.

Another before photo:

These photos are from 9-11-12 and are possibly after her nose job and chin implant. What the hell is she wearing?

She needed nose help… just not THAT particular help on that nose

That and a Personality transplant along with a Voice/Speech Coach and Therapist, THAT woulda been money well ionvested

  2. DeltaJuliet says:

I think she looked better before. Its crazy that we have ACTUAL single mothers who are struggling to feed their kids (or even married mothers, times are tough for lots of us) but these dipshits are flush with cash. Sometimes I hate our society.

  3. LA says:

Noooo she was so pretty before!! What has she done?? Seriously, she looks like a skewed version of herself mixed in with a bit of snooki.

  4. HotPockets says:

Celebitchy..I love you. This is one of my favorite sites, but you’re cracking me up with the stories today. Teen mom, Courtney Stodden, and that rich eurotrash girl? I am not talking crap because I still enjoy gossip even on the z-list level.

Also, she doesn’t look any different to me, except marginally older and less attractive.

  5. NelsonGold says:

Fairly certain the bottom “before” picture you’ve posted is actually an “after.”

  6. Mimi says:

Who cares!!!!!????? I wanna read that story about Honey Boo Boo gone wild in Hollywood!

  7. judyjudy says:

There’s barely a change. I think her face just looks chubbier now. $16,000 for that?

    • Amelia says:

Totally agree. If that’s not throwing money down the drain, I don’t know what is.
I’m actually more intrigued by the other cover pieces. If Miley’s had a nose job, I’d bloody well ask for a refund.

    • Vesper says:

Not sure about the “before” pic posted on this site, because her natural nose was quite big, particularly when looking at her profile. Maybe she learned how to pose so that her nose looked less prominant. It certainly looked much bigger on tv.

I’d have to see more pics, but anything would be an improvement over her natural nose. It took away from the rest of her features. IMO, she could have done without the chin implant, although from what I have read some surgeons recommend chin implants after rhinoplasty so that the face is more proportional.

  8. Macey says:

I dont know who she is but the before is definitely more attractive than the after. Im not sure what Dr. she went to but he definitely did not do her any favors.

Im really not getting the need for the chin implant. Her before looks so much better.

  9. SleepyJane says:

And I bet her daughter’s college fund doesn’t exist.

  10. emmie_a says:

I didn’t think she was attractive to begin with and am puzzled because she is always described as a ‘model’.

  11. Happy21 says:

She looks awful and I, too, don’t buy she didn’t do anything to her eyes. BullS**T!

  12. dorothy says:

Has this young girl not realized that she has a daughter to support? That one day that daughter might go to college? I considered her one of the more responsible women on the show. Now, not so much.

  13. Melanie says:

I thought she was pretty before but now she looks fairly unremarkable, not bad but worse than before. she claims to like it though so I guess that’s all that matters.

  14. SmokeyBlues says:

She should have had the nose refined and left everything else alone! She is a young woman with deep psychological issues, as is obvious if you watch her on the show at all. This is overboard and probably just a symptom of her issues.

  15. StephanieMarie2685 says:

WTF is with the chin implant? What does that EVEN MEAN??

  16. Sarah says:

    Ahhh! She looks so different!

  17. Amanda G says:

I’m thinking she got one over on In Touch because she doesn’t look any different.

  18. Lola B says:

A young single mom with her 15 minutes about to end spending all that money on poorly done plastic surgery instead of serrifup college funds for her daughter. What vapid waste.

  19. Maria_Spain says:

hum… i might have a diferent concept of “gorgeous” thou.. she looks puffy :p an not pretty at all (.

  20. Mary says:

Okay, correct me if I’m wrong but this girl isn’t rich right? I’m sure she gets money for being on the show but it’s not as if she’s Angelina Jolie or something with a shit ton of money. Shouldn’t she be saving that money to support her kids or something? She looks ridiculous. $21,000 not well spent.

    • TheOriginalKitten says:

Some of these girls make $140K per season and film 2 seasons per year so while it’s not Angelina money, $280K is still a hefty salary by many people’s standards.

They should still be saving though because their 15 minutes are probably already up and I don’t see them possessing any real skills to create a successful future for themselves.

  21. lower-case deb says:

somehow, the cover design made me think:
new chin! new nose! only $2.99.

tbh, if she pays more than that, she should sue for a refund.

  22. Blue says:

She still looks the same, except worse. She really needs to lay off the tan. That would improve her look a great deal.

  23. bej says:

Really sad. I think she was a pretty girl before. Large, unrefined nose and all. The InTouch cover is dreadful. Lets hope her face ‘settles’ and she stops at this, saves her money for her daughters future, and saves her face before she ends up with one of the Real Housewives Halloween masks.

  24. TXCinderella says:

I can understand a person that has insecurities about their appearance that they may want to change, but if I were her, I would have made sure that I set aside money for college for my child before going under the knife. She was pretty before, but now she has erased some of her exotic look.

  25. MsMileHigh says:

Yikes! She looks like a Muppet version of herself, now!

She did not need a chin implant and the doc made her nose WORSE.

  26. Little Darling says:

I’m mad at the magazine for putting this vapid piece on the cover, suggesting that they endorse a young, single mother getting plastic surgery she doesn’t need while raising a child. They should have left it alone, and I never say that about celebrities.

  27. Blue says:

Okay, I really cannot stand this girl when I used to watch teen mom. She is an annoying whiner, who loves attention but why is everyone assuming she hasn’t put away for her daughter? The girl always had a job, she is/was in college. I don’t think she is that dumb, besides she got paid for this “exclusive” so it’s not really any money out of her pocket.

  28. Jenna says:

I can’t really tell the difference; but instead of spending so much on her outer features she should’ve given herself a check; she’s HORRIBLE on the show.

  29. Murphy says:

The nose job is ok but the chin implant was completely un-necessary. They probably talked her into it right before the surgery.

  30. dcypher1 says:

I thought people got p.s. To look better not worse.

  31. lucy2 says:

Not that different, just…odder, sort of tight and a little plastic-y.

I really hate that these morons have become celebrities.

  32. TheTruthHurts says:

SAD. She looked so much better before. :(

  33. Blondie says:

Wow she should ask for her money back.
    She looks terrible.

  34. cassius. says:

she looks like a female version of tony clifton.

  35. the original bellaluna says:

I’mma be a bitch and say that she looks just as ugly as she did before.

Probably because she’s a nasty, ugly person.

  36. Yaaawwwn says:

Her old nose was *so* much prettier, I used to think she had a very unique beauty. Now she looks like a boxer with that flat bridge and bulbous tip. The chin implant is Jocelyn wildenstein-esque, gross.

  37. Nursemle says:

Her “after” profile pic looks like the Mac Tonight Moon from the old McDonald’s commercials. The surgeon who talked her into the chin implant should lose his license!

  38. Allison says:

now she looks like angelina from the first season of jersey shore!!!

  39. Cirque28 says:

Dreadful chin implant. A small chin/jaw is one of the visual markers of a feminine face! In your 30′s and 40′s, as everything moves subtly southward, the LAST thing you’ll want is more volume in your lower face. That’s why all those Hollywood ladies get injections in their cheeks and cheek implants– they’re trying to recapture the triangle of (feminine) youth: big cheeks, small chin.

I also think the old nose was much prettier. But if she wanted it smaller, the plastic surgeon should have made it proportionately narrower. Now it just looks wide.

  40. MissMimi says:

No surgery can fix a SH__TY attitude. This snotty girl needs to learn the basics of being nice and having manners.

  41. Memphis says:

Her doctor must not have liked her either..how else can you explain that face.

Refining her nose a little, sure…I could see that… but that chin looks like it doesn’t even belong on her face. She just looks bloated and disproportionate.

  42. Jana says:

She spent thousands of dollars to look like a Real Housewife of New Jersey??

  43. Anon73 says:

what is wrong with naturally beautiful women who insist on plastic surgery that messes up their looks ?? hello Kim Kardashian, Heidi Montag and now Teen Mom Farrah. all these ladies were blessed with natural good looks and looked better pre-surgery.

  44. ms. heart says:

wow, just horrid. I wonder if her kid recognized her.

  45. Andrea says:

She needed more psychiatrist and less plastic surgery. Anyone who watches the show knows she has major mood swings and is crying/depressed half the time. Her baby daddy has been dead 3 years and she is showing no signs whatsoever of getting over him in any healthy manner.

  46. handsome man saved me from the monsters says:

She’ll always be ugly on the inside.

  47. Nikki says:

Good god she looks terrible. That chin looks like a prosthesis strapped to her face.

I thought she was pretty before, she had a very Middle Eastern or Mediterranean quality to her looks.

I think people believe she’s ugly because she’s so nasty on Teen Mom.

  48. mln89 says:

even though i have always found her to be one of the most irritating and whiny teen moms ever profiled, i don’t think she needed any plastic surgery. PHYSICALLY, she looks fine. internally she could use some work. she should have used that money for therapy to figure out why she has such a annoying, ditzy, and grating personality. even her mom beat her ass not too long ago, and if i had to hear THAT voice, i would too.

  49. Twez says:

I would be so pissed if I went through plastic surgery and actually ended up looking worse, as in this case.

  50. Chelley says:

That’s just wonderful. These teen moms get knocked up and get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by MTV so they can document their sh*tty lives, and most of these teen moms use that money for plastic surgery, material things, and bad tattoos. Because, you know, it’s not like there are people out there who are struggling more than these spoiled brats and people who would use that money to pay off their bills or their student debt.

Nothing could ever convince me that creating Teen Mom was a good thing. How can these girls identify with most teen moms out there when they’re getting paid a lot of money AND they could afford to have MORE children at a young age? It’s all sickening.

  51. kh says:

oh no! :( she was so much prettier before, the new nose and chin don’t ‘fit’ her face.

  52. Narak says:

She looks like Javier Bardem in drag
