That Fassy/Gosling pic is the hottest thing I’ve seen all year 😉
    Mmmmmm

  2. Incredulous says:

Clinton Global Initiative – or CGI – and a picture of Mitt. There’s a joke there but damned if I can think of one right now.

  3. KellyinSeattle says:

Trying to find something nice to say; never mind.

  4. Amelia says:

Yet another reason I’m glad he isn’t at the helm of one of the biggest players on the world stage.
Although it kind of makes sense; isn’t Twilight pretty much Mormon porn?
Good for Daniel Craig visiting Afghanistan! I’ve always got great respect for those who go out of their way to boost morale.

  5. bowers says:

    Twilight’s creator is Mormon.

    • T.C. says:

Mitt Romney was asked about this two years ago and he said he supported the writer of the Twilight books who is of course Mormon.

      • Marilyn says:

That explains the messed up emotionally abusive relationship between Edward and Bella that’s overly romanticized.

  6. Cindy says:

Not surprised at all. Stephenie Meyer is a Mormon, too, and Twilight is blatant pro-life, ultra-conservative “women’s role” propaganda.

    • TG says:

Agree. No surprise here. Apparantly, this “church” supports anyone or anything that goes to their church. They didn’t even protest the gay marriage law in Maryland because they wanted to help their fellow churchogoer get into the whitehouse with as little attention as possible being paid to their beliefs. They were a big presence in California 4 years ago opposing gay marriage so I guess they will sacrifice their beliefs if it means helping one of their own into the White House.

  7. Jayna says:

The way Mitt has behaved post election loss tells me everything I need to know. He’s an elitist whose true colors came out during and after this election. My neighbor ‘s daughter who is in college said all the girls were in an uproar when they heard he had diminished them down to voting for Obama for free birth control pills. Right, Romney, they have no brains, just focusing on birth control as the reason they voted. Two Romney voters in the group said he disgusted them.

Meanwhile, glad to see all the insurance plans are paying for you and all the other GOP’s old white men’s little blue pill.

    • Kelly says:

Can you imagine Viagra users being vilified the way birth control users were by Rush, et al? “These old pervs, they’re disgusting! They’re running all over town, harassing our grandmothers at the senior center, just wanting sex all the time. And they want us to pay for them to do it?!”

      • Amelia says:

        0_o
        The mind boggles.
I’d love to just run up to Romney, wave my Pills in his face and go “Nehhh!! I’m preventing pregnancy and practicing safe, recreational sex without being part of some creepy, polygamous set-up!”
        …It’s a work in progress, I’ll admit.

      • TG says:

With the way the GOP has treated women and this whole “Movember” thing this month it is making me wonder why do we care about men’s health again? So anything involving male organs should not be covered. Maybe we should have health insurance companies that only insure women and ones that only insure men? Is that what they are getting at?

      • flan says:

When men speak about men’s problems, we’re all expected to nod, comfort and agree. When women speak about women’s problems, we are bitches who should STFU.

This election has shown that we do not stand for that anymore.

    • Malak says:

      I support a buy-your-own birth control policy.
I don’t know why Viagra is free. Probably because it’s considered an illness?

      • Lulu says:

It’s free because this is a male dominated society and oh the horrors of not being able to ‘get it up’!

I think men/couples should have to pay for it just like women/couples should pay for their birth control of choice. Yeah, I totally think Obama got elected because everyone wants their ‘free stuff’. But also because Mitt Romney is a Mormon so a good deal of the Christians sat on their butts at home instead of going out and voting for their economy.

        OK, rant over. *g*

      • TG says:

Why is a man’s inability to have sex considered an illness? It is no different than birth control which is used for sex. These guys make me sick. Good riddance to mittens and his racist, woman-hating freaks.

  8. KellyinSeattle says:

Okay, I thought of something nice. I think Mitt is kind of handsome, in a “professor” kind of way (ducking – ewwwwwwwwww!). But I do…however, his wife, Anne, really needs a new blazer!

    • Malak says:

Clinton is my fav US president, despite Monica.

    • RobN says:

Problem with Bill is that isn’t all he’d like to warm.

      • Jayna says:

LOL So true. But the man is flat-out brilliant, and I have never heard anyone that is able to explain policies and issues in an informative but easily understood way to follow for the average person like he does. He has a gift. Obama owes him a debt of gratitude in this election for Clinton’s amazing speech at the DNC and for his tireless campaigning the last month or two.

      • Malak says:

        @Rob
Clinton is a man. Not perfect. Embarrassing he got caught!

        @Jayna
He is a very good speaker and doesn’t need a teleprompter.

  9. littlestar says:

Mitten’s looks extra orange in that opening picture!

  10. dahlianoir says:

A thought for all the victims in Palestine, I can’t even imagine being under that bomb.

That’s all I can do, give it a “thought”.
    *sigh*

  11. Kaye says:

re Romneys: this explains so much.

  12. Russell says:

Wish I could be there with them to see the ultra-conservative “women’s role” propaganda in Twilight-2. I have some few more questions to ask Romney. But hope can catch him next time
