These are some assorted photos from the beginning of Paris Fashion Week, which began a few days ago. The turnout for these shows is always less than enthusiastic, especially if we’re comparing them to the turnout for the September Fashion Weeks. I always think that the only people who show up to fashion shows in January and February are A) top-tier celebrities and stylists looking for something spectacular for the Oscars and the BAFTAs and B) famewhores who can’t get attention in September. With that in mind, let’s discuss these photos!
I’m starting with Salma Hayek and her husband Francois-Henri Pinault at the Yves Saint Laurent show on Sunday. Pinault owns (or co-owns) so many of the huge, major, important labels that show during Paris Fashion Week, and while it’s clear that Salma enjoys being a part of that world, I do wonder if a little bit goes a long way, you know? She must be exhausted with this crap by now. But she would never admit it because trophy wives don’t admit that they’re bored.
Dita Von Teese at the Alexis Mabille Spring/Summer 2013 Haute-Couture show – perfection.
Jessica Alba at Dior – she looks great, doesn’t she? For the most part, I think red lips are overdone and red doesn’t suit every woman. But this is a great example of a red lip working.
Noomi Rapace at Dior – she’s all over Paris Fashion Week, this is like the third show she’s been to in two days. I’m not crazy about her dress, but her face is lovely. PS… LOOK AT THAT RING.
Rosamund Pike in a gorgeous grey tweed. I WANT THIS COAT.
Olivia Munn at the Versace show. I don’t get it…? Is she trying to be a “fashion girl” now?

She was terrible on new girl. I’m not sure if it was her acting or her character I hated more, but her presents there was awful.
Her g4 hot gamer geek girl, daily show correspondent, and network comedy funny girl schticks all flopped so now it’s back to fashion and gentlemen mags.

She is a burlesque dancer, yes.
You should find an interview or two with her. She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s warm and she’s classy.
As far as famewhory, she’s never attempted to turn her B level fame into a reality series, or god forbid a talk show. She doesn’t date a different celebrity every other month nor does she insert her comments into social debates.
She is very very into fashion and one the best dressed women in the world, it makes total sense to see her at these types of events.

In the only interview I’ve seen, Dita sounded like a Valley Girl, over-using “like” and “you know”. She seems more sophisticated when she keeps her mouth closed.

Burlesque is stripping with style.
She is a lot more then “just a stripper” though. She has her own dress line (they are so luxurious, expensive but really worth it), her own perfumes, her own make up range and her own lingerie line. and that lingerie is sturdy. i have huge, heavy boobs and usually snap under wires within three months. So far Dita’s have lasted since April 2012 *knock wood* and they make my boobs look great.
And she is extremely knowledgeable on vintage and the history of burlesque. she isn’t a famewhore, if she was she would have a reality show or something.
you should watch more than one interview before you decide she is just some boring one trick pony valley girl.

Yah, it is ironic that her style has worsened when she has married the owner of one of the biggest luxury fashion conglomerates. She rarely chooses anything flattering, she herself in terms of her figure and face has held up well. You would think the hem of her dresses would be altered with the snap of the fingers as Mrs Pinault but nearly everything she has worn lately looks awful.

Well yeah that insecure b!tch got what she deserve. I mean Hollande left his partner for decades to be with her (hell they were having an affair anyway) and yet she is jealous, because the ex partner is still part of his life… Hollande backed up his ex for some campaign and this b!tch blew it with a tweet by supporting some other guy… She got served right on, Hollande will never marry her, she can keep dreaming! As long as she won’t accept that Royal will always be a part of Hollande life she’ll always be insecure and lose him for sure.
