These are some photos of Brandi Glanville at the Family Equality Council ‘Los Angeles Award Dinner 2013’ last Friday. I’m sorry I didn’t get around to publishing these before today! For what it’s worth, Brandi’s LBD is pretty boring and she looks pretty much the same as she always does.
Brandi is still doing press for her book, which comes out today and which I think will probably be a decent money-maker for her. A lot of people are sympathetic towards her and she’s spent the past few weeks leaking a lot of juicy stuff from the book, and now people will want to read it to see if there’s any more dirt in there. Plus, Brandi is keeping up the feud with She Who Shall Not Be Named on her Twitter, writing: “The truth is I will one day (when they are grown) tell my kids everything anyhow, but until then I will protect them with my whole heart… What’s worse doing these things to the mother of ur children or me writing about?? I guess its ok for him just not for me.”
In other Brandi news, there’s still endless drama between Brandi and Adrienne Maloof. I don’t have the energy to try to figure out what’s happening, so just go here for a decent recap. Also!! Brandi just got a really amazing gig – she’s been added to ABC’s “On the Red Carpet to the Oscars” team as a “special fashion correspondent.” I’m not sure if this means that Brandi’s going to the Oscars as someone who will interviews stars on the carpet, or if she’s just doing, like, analysis of the clothes from a distance. Brandi said: “I’m so excited to be part of this because I’ve always been a spectator on my couch at home watching it, and to actually be there and see the stars as they arrive, I’m super excited.”

I watch RHOBH and I like Brandi. She is honest to a fault and sometimes says things she probably shouldn’t, but she seems ok.
I don’t know why but I like this beyotch. I just want to hang out and get drunk with her. Maybe it’s because she has no filter.

I really hope that in spite of everything, Brandi get her shit together for the sake of her children. She wants to be open with them regarding the situation with Eddie, and be the bigger person and protect them, but then she goes on RHOBH and behaves the way she does, attacks people etc. I get that she went through a lot and it’s hard for her, but in order to be the bigger person you have to act like the bigger person. Even if it means putting your foot in your mouth and keeping quiet here and there.

Disagree. Brandi kept her mouth shut for years while being the victim of a SWF’er. She was treated with complete contempt and cruelty at the hands of her ex and his new stable addition/spouse. I still say it’s about gd time Brandi spoke up. I was starting to get a little disgusted with Brandi. It was like, why aren’t you protecting your children from this psycho or at least speaking up? Leanne has worked very hard to destroy B’s life, I hope this book makes her head explode. Just think, after today everywhere Falcor goes, people are going to be whispering and talking about her. It’s a good thing she likes attention because her crazy is about to go mainstream.
Lady D – While you DO make a good point, it also comes off a major Leanne hater. I don’t care for either, but when Brandi is spewing BS non stop about caring for her kids and being the bigger person, she sure as hell isn’t acting like it. There is nothing wrong with speaking up and defending yourself, but Brandi goes overboard. Yes, Leanne is a psycho but she’s not the one ‘protecting’ her kids.
The quieter Brandi was, the more outlandish Leann behaved on twitter. Leann was out of control. I can see exactly why Brandi started speaking out. Leann was not going to stop until Brandi was down and she “owned” Brandi’s children. Period.
i watch RHOBH religiously. love it, love the craziness, and clearly everyone needs to sit down. except of course my Lady Lisa.
And i can categorically say that Brandi is the least offensive person on that show. F-Bombs and all. On a personal note i wish she didn’t use them at all, but that’s her and i sincerely hope that Lisa will rub off on her as far as language is concerned. Also, many of these ladies offended by Brandi’s language have used the same language on earlier episodes long before Brandi showed up, so i guess their PR has asked them to refrain and behave all holier than though. We know one lady definitely listens to her publicist hence the complete character presentation change from season 1 to following seasons.
The other ladies keep re-writing what Brandi has allegedly said in order to keep the drama going and to make themselves look good. One need only re-watch the old episodes of stuff Brandi has been accused of saying to see the lies.
Last week’s episode had one lady say something in a group situation, but then recountered the conversation with the very same words she, herself used, being spoken by Brandi!!!!
It’s been a concerted effort to bully Brandi from the minute she arrived on the show when they laughed at her,made fun of her leg cast and called her all sorts of names. Game night anyone??!!! And they harrangue her so much that she’s taken to apologising when she doesn’t have to.
She’s ALWAYS the bigger person on that show.
Only last week, one person got selective amnesia when confronted with the truth, but then took Brandi aside in the corridor to admit that what she was being accused of was the truth, she was simply embarrassed at being called out for it.
Those ladies in RHOBH are too much and thank goodness for Brandi.
I’m not talking about the show only, mostly Brandi in general, and how the show makes her come off in addition to the way she is. I do agree that some of them are even worse, but too much botox does that to you.

Brandi has proven to be a well liked character on all the online communities that comment on this show including the Bravo TV cast blogs.
And if you do watch the show, you must be the only person who thinks she comes off badly.
The details of her catfight with LR don’t look good, but on the show she is very likable.
Just got through watching Brandi on the Today show. It’s great to see her getting her truth out there after having to stomach Leann’s and Eddie’s lies.
If Eddie and Leann had been decent human beings, Brandi would have never had anything to write about regarding them. They brought all this on themselves.
Way to go Brandi! It must be very liberating to write about all that went down and to be able to close that chapter of her life.

I posted it on the LR bangs trauma thread, but I totally have the book open on one monitor at work. I’m 23% through with it. And I’ve only been kind of reading it for an hour and 43 minutes. It WILL get finished today!

Ladies, it’s GREAT. It’s an easy read, it’s funny. I’m really enjoying it. We know Brandi has no filter, and I really like that about her. I LOVE to read, but even if you aren’t a fan of doing so, you’ll get through it quickly and easily. IMO, it’s worth the $10.
How is it so far? I pre-ordered it last night, then synced it to my ereader this morning so I can read it at work today – thank goodness both of my bosses are on holidays this week! 😀

I’m over half-way through…and wow. Yea. It makes me like Brandi a lot. I know she’s a bit trashy and people say she’s not protecting her kids, but she’s so honest and I respect her for saying how she feels…good, bad and all. Definitely worth the $10. Just finished it. Loved it. Brandi owns up to her mistakes, and takes responsibilities for what she has done wrong. I love her first acknowledgment, btw. I’m sure LR will too! I caught the end of the episode last night and wow is that Jocelyn Wildenstein wannabe a piece of work. As per usz Shana Taylor Ford was stirring the pot making pointed statements about friends suing friends, which i have a feeling is in regards to the last season that I skipped. But in all honesty they way Adrienne was throwing her head back, licking her paws and throwing out evasive remarks was appalling this woman really thinks she is something special.
BTW, did anyone catch photos of the Maloof Hoof and her rented boy toy at a Grammy Party? He looked soooooo miserable, he reminded me of the kid in the grocery store I encountered yesterday who started crying because he was DONE shopping.
OOHHHH last season was so major drama from Taylor, i’m amazed it made it to air and she was invited back this season and how the hell she was going to top last season. i guess the answer is she couldn’t, so she might as well get her drink on.
Anyways, A made a song and dance about how friends shouldn’t sue friends and it can all be resolved with a sit down, and she made a big deal of disinviting Taylor from several events because Taylor’s husband had threatened to sue another HW and that expression became a catch phrase from A who kept repeating it ad nauseum in all her solo commentary spots.
So Taylor is throwing it back at her.
Oh i get it now. The Maloof Hoof is completely insufferable. I heard on my recap board that they are changing the RBH cast next season and are looking to add Faye full time….AGH kill me now!

Brandi is carving out a nice little career for herself! Good for her and her new gig. I wouldn’t say she is a fashion plate or anything but she is gorgeous and has tons of personality which will make for good tv.
I respect what she said about telling her children when they are older. If their dad and his new wife had not behaved so despicably she would not have had a story to tell. All those people on their high horse calling her trashy, what’s trashier, sleeping around behind your pregnant wife’s back (Eddie)—having an affair with a married man whose wife you have met when you yourself was married as well(Leann)or writing a book about what happened to you? Give me a break!

Right now Brandi’s book is #1 on the iPad Top Chart for books sold. Good for her. Between the book’s success and the Oscar gig there is some gorgeous karma going on!
As someone who had a completely inappropriate step-mother and had a Mother who protected us from the hell that the stephag and my Father put her through until we were older, I can tell you that those boys will be so proud of their Mother. They are going to figure out the truth of the matter and Eddie cam play holier than thou all he wants, they’ll know better. She is supporting them herself, while their Father has his new wife supporting them and himself. He never works. If he didn’t have LeAnn, he’s be living with his parents or in a crappy apartment. He’s a kept man while their Mother is fighting to be a successful, independent woman. What a great opportunity it is for Brandi to get her feet wet doing this sort of gig. She is so personable and has a good sense of humor so I’ll definitely be watching to see what she has to say. I hope that this book and the opportunities that will come from it, bring her all the security and financial stability she’s looking for.
I saw the Today show with Brandi, the interviewer Willie came off as hostile and clueless about the whole thing. He kept grilling her and she kept her cool. It was great to watch how adult Brandi can be when she wants to be. When you know the history of the stalking and threatening stuff from Leann that Brandi’s endured you see how strong she is to get through it and still have to endure jerks like this guy who can’t do their jobs and get the facts on the whole story.
She did really well and her dress was AMAZING. He did seem a little hostile didn’t he? None of these “journalists” seem to do any background research. Eddie’s holier than thou comment was laughable.

I’m definitely rooting for Brandi to let go of publicly talking about the Leann/Eddie stuff soon (as she promises she will do once the book promotion dies down) and there’s no better way than for her to get other gigs that aren’t related to Leann. Brandi has great fashion sense…I see this fashion correspondent thing as the perfect gig for someone like her. She modeled, she’s got a clothing line…she knows the industry and what looks good on women. I hope she does really well, and I hope she pursues this angle. Infinitely more interesting than any Leann/Maloof drama.

Her legs are so skinny that she does herself no favors in a dress that short where it hits where her legs are the skinniest. The side shot was skeletal with her legs. She was on Leno in a longer leather pencil skirt and great blouse and looked fantastic in the outfit. Shorts work great on her but mini dresses that length aren’t flattering on her
My favorite look of Brandi that I was obsessed with was her lighter blue jeans with the kind of bell-bottom flare and her blouse and belt on her she wore on the show. With her height, lithe figure, and long legs, she looked amazing.

Can someone close to Brandi please tell her to stop the overuse of fillers. She did more, I guess. In the Today Show interview when she smiled there was more filler all the way closer to her smile lines. I don’t know how to describe it. It was hours ago and I would have to rewatch. It makes her look older actually or not as soft looking. She’s only 40 and so pretty and yet becoming obsessed and overdoing fillers. A bigger face doesn’t equal more youthful when it’s fake.
